i don't think they take damage, just get pushed back, this doesn't really affect infantry but it can really mess up pikemen, so generally best to stick to the squares next to the landing and not get hit unless you are using infantry vs enemy archers
I haven't watched the full video yet, but I'm pretty sure you have an ability button to heal/regain your units during battle. (OK, I see you found it.) Also when boats land they seem to have a knockback ability on your units.
Baron, you should equip the ring onto one of your troops, it'll add more people to that troop. Also for the bigger guys (mini bosses) you should use your pikemen as first line of defense, leave the infantry and archers for support, if you use any other troop for first line of defense they will die.
Baron if u select a unit at the bottom left u can see the skills and etc so the u will see a boat which u use to flee the battle and the house which once use select it u can select a house and ur units will heal up EDIT: ok never mind he did find it out xd
I love the complex battles in this :D You can see that the units will try to get the best possible position on the enemy forces and in some cases it seems like the enemy will fear for their lives!
Ring of command + War horn The best relics Warhammer=the absolute worst, you can kill your own guys with it but could be good on archers so they can defend themselves in melee.

The icon of a church on that appears when you click on a character is a way to refill the squad also the ring of command makes you have more people in the squad
Baron you can replenish your units in the buildings if they lose troops, also if your commanders die in battle they die for good. You can’t replenish them afterwards
Baron those elite infantry, throw only one salvo of battle axes. A good counter is shield men in front of pikemen to take the axes then instantly retreat them behind the pikemen, if mastered you will save many brave men from dying. Also keep up the good work :)

GG. Archers can volley. And you want to bring a secondary unit with you. Units can only upgrade if they defend. You don't want to be in the situation where your elites get killed and you have only wimpy units to continue.
and i think some of the islands are real Scandinavian islands like: pepperholm and in yester days episode there was and isle cald saltholm both they are Danish.
For the hammer ability never use it if friendly units are near unless you want them thrown into the water(all the unit) shown in drag east or blitz videos

baron you should get the charge ability for the pikes which is OP! Also put pikes one block behind the block the boats will land and make good use of the natrual chokepoints this game is very easy if you know how to use everything in the game. Keep up the good work! Update:Also use the house with healing signs on it in the abilities and heal your units to full people by click a house with the ability!
Baron, the elite infantry throw axes. So use infantry against them. Preferably the elite infantry. The spearmen are overpowered against all melee infantry. But they are weak against ranged. The brutes also have huge bows.
As you can see the guys with the kite shields are better than the one with the circle shield,also they aren’t bombs they are throwing axes,I suggest you get the pike charge ability,it’s really good
you have a ring that you could use to increase a unit size limit id use it on your elite pikeman cuz they dont got any item equipped and if an elite class had more men they would be even more deadly and would increase their survivability
A) if you place ur units on a building they will replenish B) use your pikemen at choke points. Don't meet people at the beach with your pikemen or you will lose troops
And also you know that little house that appears when you select a unit, well if that unit is low on troops you can press that house thing and your troops can replenish

Baron I was screaming at you for not equiping the Ring of Command as adds 3 more units to a unit group
plus it can be upgraded for even MORE units.
The ring of command is the best for infantry

You can recover troops(or health if you want to see troops at health) if you send that group into the house in the cost of time
