In a very small way I am now trying to imitate your beautiful container arrangements, with tulips, wallflowers, and narcissi; also a other shrubs with good colour. Thank you very much Claus.
Simply gorgeous! Your use of different tulip varieties and their color is fantastic. Your displays of flowers take my breath away. It is a joy to watch your videos.
A white garden, how facinating. Must look stunning :) I collect plants with blue tones. Not many plants are blue so the garden is rather unusual in that sense :)
As a dutch woman, to me orange is a summer colour. Its a colour of joy, parties and national holidays. No wonder the dutch created many different orange tulips. Its the national flower in the national colour.🧡
I love both of your different color schemes!! I love orange in the garden, I feel it brings brightness to the garden!! I love the mixing of the differs flowers in the same color tones. Beautiful!!❤️
Wow! I love the Black Parrot and the Purple Crystal, they are lovely. Sadly it’s too warm in Southern California to grow most tulips. They only last a very short time. But my consolation is to watch your beautiful garden and your containers full of gorgeous tulips 🥰
I have heard before that tulips are not really suited to the warm Californian weather, but then I am sure that you can grow many plants that we are not able to!
I loved all the color schemes! My favorite is the last one shown with the pop of lime green amongst the pinks and white. The orange and purple groupings are very unique and lovely too. After the long, cold, colorless monotony of winter in the northern states of America, it is so refreshing to see ANY colors in the garden. It just really is inspiring!
Just gorgeous! I have always loved pink, purple, blue, etc. In the garden, but it is only as I have gotten older that I have started to appreciate orange in the garden and your orange display there is stunning and inspirational.
Beautiful colour arrangement Claus. I do love the gorgeous collection of vases and containers you have in your conservatory. It’s a rainy and cold day today here in New Zealand, so nice to see a sunny beautiful garden♥️♥️
Thank you for sharing your spring bulb containers! You are a brilliant designer! Love seeing your doggie too…he’s so smart. All the bulbs are gone for this year here in Tennessee.
The colors are so nice together. I arrange my garden in separate "rooms" using fence or plants for definition. Your color combinations are so lovely. I am going to try the orange with lime green. I really like that!
Thank you for sharing, beautiful color schemes....can't pick a favorite, that's why it's so nice to be able to have both. All of the flowers and textures are beautiful My Geum comes back each year, but never as prolific as yours!
What was the name of that perennial you showed among your tulips toward the beginning of this video., near greenhouse?….gale? I am not familiar with it and couldn’t figure out spelling so I could look it up. You are a remarkable artist as well as gardener. It is like you paint with flowers. Gorgeous. Thank you for sharing.
Your flowers are beautiful. I’ve tried growing perinniels like lillies in pots which some success. What do you do when the tulips stop blooming? Do you keep them in the pots? How do you store them until next spring? Thank you for your beautiful and informing channel!!💕
Thank you so much for your kind words. I need my pots for annuals, so after the tulips have stopped flowering, they are lifted. Tulips really only do well for one season in pots, so I use fresh bulbs every year.
Thank you so much for your inspiration! This spring I've grown tulips in containers and now they have died back. Awaiting winter storage, does the soil need some moisture?
I would advise you to plant the tulips out into your garden - they really only do well for one season in pots. And then start with fresh bulbs and fresh compost this autumn.
What a riot of colour? I suspect you draw up plans of all your colour schemes. Approximately How many pots are we looking at here, is the question I ask myself.
It all looks lovely! Could you tell me the name of the second perennial you mention at 2:46? I couldn't understand and my subtitle didn't catch it. Thank you.
I dont think you understand just how much your videos make my life so happy!!.. I love you...!!P.S seems a long time with ugly pots with just soil... just for 3 weeks of flowers???? Or is the display longer???? Debra from England... xxxxxxx
Thank you so much for your kind comment. Once the bulbs have ceased flowering, we empty all the containers and use them for annuals and perennial, so there is only bare soil during the wintertime.
Today is my first time visit your channel, I m so impressed, I just start learning how grow the Tulips ,you had lots different kind of Tulips and you made different colour flowers to put them together,it is so beautiful, you started 1996, after 26 years experience you shared it with others ,it is so nice, thank you. I love to buy your new book with English. How to buy pleases.?
Welcome to my channel! I am so pleased you like what you see here. My book has been sold out, but you should be able to buy it now from Amazon, Book Depository, and Waterstones among others. Thank you for asking.
This is very pretty but it must be terrible work to water all these plants. This year we experienced a very dry and warm spring in Belgium and the plants in pots had to be watered every day 🥵 As for me, I much prefer the plants to be in the soil where they can find the water and nutrients by themselves. Moreover, the rodents have dug up the bulbs that I had planted in pots and made a terrible mess 😱
Your gardens are glorious! I can't imagine a lovelier environment to live in.
Thank you Mr. Dalby. The colors are amazing 🌸💚🙃
In a very small way I am now trying to imitate your beautiful container arrangements, with tulips, wallflowers, and narcissi; also a other shrubs with good colour.
Thank you very much Claus.
The pleasure is all mine! Thank you for being here.

Hi Claus , I ordered the tulip called Angelique. They are pretty. I’ll have to wait until next year to see them in my garden blooming.
Beautiful like always
Beautiful!
Great design, Hope you could introduce how to design as the plant need of shade or full sun, as a big picture
Great suggestion!
Dear Claus, what do you do with the bulbs when they are finished blooming?
Love design of your garden. Can you take a tour of your house interior?
hi cladus could you do a video on how you mix up your soils please thanks
What beautiful colour combinations. How far ahead do you decide?
Orange and black designates with me 🥰Black Parrot is my favourite tulip this year 🥰
Thank you so so much for sharing beautiful colours and so much work you put. What are the combinations plants that you have in this colour scheme x

I believe he said Geum
That’s it exactly. THANK YOU.
I like the the warm one more
And you are not alone! Without wishing to sound boastful the orange display has had a lot of likes on my Instagram account.
Your Gardens and flowers are so amazing so thank you for bringing joy into this troubled world!
My pleasure! Thank you for being here.
How often do you water the tulip containers at this stage? Do you keep on the moist side or a little drier at this time?
I base all my watering on the soil. If the soil is wet, don't water. If the soil is dry, water it

I do not know exactly how many pots I have, but between three and four thousand.

It's a garden of my dreams there...did u receiving a guest who want a tour in your garden?
The garden is open to members of my garden club.
Where can we order tulips buds?
Bulbs are planted in the autumn, and then you can typically buy them online and in garden centres.
Vase tulipy
Do you treat your tulips as annuals.
The ones in pots are treated as annuals, as tulips really only do well for one season in pots, so here I use fresh bulbs each season.
Absolutely beautiful!! I love these color combinations ! Do you have a video showing how you store the tulip bulbs ?
I was wondering this as well.
