One thing that wasn't mentioned during the solar bonk hammer build, while you have roaring flames, your base punch melee counts as a charged melee. So when you have roaring flames killing things with your punch will create a sunspot as well. With synthos and roaring flames your base punch can take out most red bars and some orange bars in one hit, which for me = less chance of losing my hammer. It will also create an orb with heavy handed equipped. The base melee with roaring flames also applies scorch, currently i dont remember if i have the fragment that increases scorch on or not, but for me 3 base punches on the same target = ignition. If I lose my hammer i just use my base melee to get it back fast and keep roaring flames going. I'm sure a lot of you know this but for those who dont I hope it helps, i personally use my regular punch more than the hammer when running this build, the hammer is saved for the big ones.
A bug to note about Stronghold Perfect Guard stack that nobody is talking about, if you stand in a teammates healing rift(doesn't matter if they have an exotic that buffs them IE vesper or anything like that) your perfect stacks shoot up absurdly quick. you'll get 100 stacks in like 2-3 seconds which then translates to 16 seconds of restoration x2
Repent and believe the gospel my friend. Jesus Christ died for your sins and rose from the dead. If you put all your faith and trust in what he did on the cross you will be saved. We are all in need of rescue for we have all fallen short of God’s Glory.
2:48 I believe he meant to say Destabilizing Rounds (if you want to get the volatile chain). Repulsor Brace is still good for giving you an over shield upon killing volatile targets with your weapon.
Just re watched and noticed it now thanks for writing this! Crazy how many times you can watch your own video and miss a mistakes haha. Yeah destabilizing for volatile chain and repulsor for the OS. Write 1 thing, say a 2nd thing, edit a 3rd is pretty much my life on YT 😂
@@CastleContent fun little fact, the recovered red war sniper from this season can run both destabilizing rounds and repulsor brace in different columns, if what my d2 weapon roll nerd friend told me is true
Castle, amazing S Tier builds all of them. Im having a blast with the HOIL build with wardens law, Ex Diris, and a Retrofit Escaped! The Strong Hold build is also amazing. All the best, cheers!
I really appreciate the way you describe the builds in this video. It was easy to follow how each build worked without getting bogged down in what aspects and fragments I need to have equipped before I understood why.
I actually do use a similar build as the second chance build for low tier content, but with doomfang pauldrons and Monte Carlo. Stack that with some armor mods for extra super energy, and you’ll be getting super back really quickly, with a high potential length with the super itself.
I did that for a long time, but it kinda relegates you to block only You can use a legendary sword to escort, and then Polaris lance for killing everything
HOIL is also really good on strand with banner of war as you can get grapple melee charges faster which hit REALLY hard since the 3 melee charges will stack up your enhanced recharge.
For void 2nd chance - New 180rpm HC "Word of Crota" is THE BEST for shield throwing. It can have repulsor brace and destabilizing rounds, and trait Cursed thrall activates with melee!
ERMAHGERD!!! Finally! Been trying everything to make the Second Chance exotic work! Tried a buncha other video builds but this is the one. Just took it for a spin and it was awesome! I literally started playing Destiny so I could be Space-Robot-Captain-America! And finally a build that actually works with Shield Throw. It’s great! Threw on Monte Carlo and a Harsh Language GL with Replusor Brace and it’s working like a charm! Thanks a bunch. 😊
Bro, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more well put together video. You had my interest throughout the entirety of it. I’m gonna try these out and I never thought I’d be using waveframes but it seems like titan might be a good place to learn them. Well done!
Something I think makes stronghold even better is using it with solar, you can get 24 seconds of restoration x2 and if you step in a sunspot or heal yourself with the healing granade you get up to 24 sec again, if you do it well you can have infinite restoration x2 through an entire activity
I’m sorry what?! How do you increase it to 24 seconds?! Also personally I believe that using strongholds with a sword while using banner of war on strand and having into the fray so you can combine the 2x restoration and constant woven mail plus increased sword base damage and a chunk of healing being applied every second. Not to mention the never ending restoration makes you unable to be one shot by almost anything
Such a great video. Straight to the point on all the builds and one screen showing everything. It takes some UA-camrs the same length of this video to show 1 build.
Your videos helped me understand character building that i pretty much the ins and outs of my titan. Those concepts even translate to other characters i can even help my friends perfect/optimize their build regardless of class. Friends are always surprised at how many enemies i kill and how many orbs I generate.
I think the thing that brings me back to D2 is some story beats and weapons but mostly the build crafting. It's hard for me to put Titan dowm when I havent even touched more in depth builds. Just recently found out my own Solar build I've had for awhile has been kneecapped for like 2 years and now that I've fixed it I'm having a blast. I neeeeeeed more Loadout slots cause 8 is no where near enough. And seperate fashion loadouts of course cause fashion is the true endgame. Great vid👍
I started to use Second Chance this season and im going to touch up that build with yours but my favorite build is Arc Titan rocking Point Contact Brace which is slept on a lot
9/10 on all of this. Had to dock a point though for the Wilson slander. Half of the fun of solar titan is going into a mass panic over missing a hammer, followed by selfishly abandoning your team to get it back. Don't let any good players tell you any different. (kidding...not really, lol). #TitanThings
For the stasis build, if you can fit Reaper on your class item that allows you to create an orb of power for every enemy you kill after casting barricade, increasing your overall healing with recuperation
Restoration + Banner of war + woven mail damage reduction = Invincible. People serious sleep on Stronghold, and swords in general. I'm gonna run a build that has a sword, glaive, and bow to get medieval up in here.
don’t forget that with bonk after you get at least one roaring flames buff your uncharged melee counts as powered so you can punch and get more stacks of roaring flames and make sunspots
Pair the Second Chancd build with Travelers Chosen. It has built in Osmosis with its catalyst and its intrinsic gives you that back up energy in time of need
Rly need to point out Point Contact with thunderclap. This thing is like a sideways storm grenade that just *_cleans_* everything in front of you. It deals good bursts on bosses and you're likely to get a chance to regain *_all_* that melee energy back to cast that shit again and again, even on uncharged.
Was actually looking for new builds and then here you come with a great video with a TON of builds! You make it super easily digestible and the info graphic is amazing. Great content homie and keep it up!
With last build (HOIL) you should run the mod in legs which gives armor stacks from ionic traces. Each Grenade will give 2 stacks so also run Grenade kickstart and now you can loop it even faster.
I figured out a way to combine build four and five. It's obviously not as strong as just using just the hammer. But I don't find too much difference in survivability and it's a lot of fun.
This is an interesting video as I was struggling to find a build for each subclass. I played Path, Lorelei and Ashen Wake but none of them felt good. Lorelei was boring af (good survability sure but nothing outside of it so unfun), Path was quite difficult to keep up (Pre changes. Only time I looked at Ehroar. Mistakes were made), and Ashen felt like I was always missing targets so I was always on cooldown. Other than that, I never really made a build for Titan since that wasn't my first class. For now, my ideas for subclass builds for titans are : Synthoceps (Solar), HoIL (Arc), Second Chance (Void), Hoarfrost-Z (Stasis), Abeyant Leap (Strand). Maybe I'll consider making Stranghold (get it?) for GMs since it's very good. And maybe switch Hoarfrost for Lupi.
You forgot the backdrop to perfect guard. If you reach max stacks you'll start taking alot more damage. You HAVE to release the stacks before you try and block something strong

Im glad to see second chance, always felt like it had potential but I'm not a buildcrafter
The main usage of it is it allows void titans to have 4 debuff sources so it's good for lowman content or even solo raid bosses

Great builds castle and great content I've been enjoying them. You got a new sub. Also, what are the song names?
Question: Is Whisper of Conduction necessary for the Stasis build or could you sub it for Whisper of Fissures to increase shatter damage?

I'm gonna say it-- hunter when?
