    It's sad how most of us don't want to build together but I think we are slowly coming together as a small tribe & recognizing each other over the naysayers. Thanks for sharing your story. 🤜🏽🤛🏽

      These things take time, it took many many years for the various ethnic groups in the various countries on the continent to accept the sovereignty of each other and make peace , the current engagement within the black people around the world will continue, there was 400 years of separation between us and hundreds of years of European occupation and subjugation of the motherland. It is not going to be a walk in the park , but it will happen . Your works in Ghana represent the good story that must shared . Stay blessed 👏🏾🙏🏽

      @@webelonginafrica44 you need to change your circle. There are a lot of us uniting and moving as a collective. I just returned from Burkina Faso with a delegation of 150 from a the US who went to encourage and support Ibrahim Traore and the Burkinabe people since they kicked out France and the US and took their country back from imperialism. Tha president and the people were overwhelmed by our unity and support. We were there for 2 weeks and the president is giving us projects to build the country. Additionally, we implemented a youth mentoring program for each of the 8 business sectors from the 300 youth who attended our Youth Summit. I have 16 young in my group and have already been meetings and planning with them

    I’m a truck driver and I own a home and farm in Ghana. My problem is that I can’t get enough time off to go enjoy the things I’ve built and building. Anyone know of any trucking companies that allow 2 weeks off every 2 months because I’m trying to start traveling there at least 3 times a year. It sucks when you have everything nearly ready and you can’t even enjoy it.

    • @webelonginafrica44

There are some companies that work 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off. I don’t know of any right off hand but there are some out there. I will try to ask around because we need you here on relax mode.

It’s also a risky business if the funds are not there for repair. A box truck is actually good and a little less overhead than a semi truck. Thank you for sharing this video. The way I see it, those who want to relocate to a ghana should first build and complete their home debt free in Ghana. Become debt free in America before you leave and go to Ghana. Secondly we need to let go the idea of earning US dollars while you are in Ghana. I wouldn’t have built the second house you have because it’s a money pit.. Instead I would have looked in the area and find what people need and use that space to start a local Ghanaian business that can earn you Ghana cedis everyday. Cut down your expenses and manage the business well since you are there in Ghana and grow it. I love Ghana and I am glad you made the move. My home is 70% done and will join the move soon. Shalom.

    • @webelonginafrica44
      @webelonginafrica44  11 місяців тому +3

      Thank you so much. The reason I ended up building the second place is because a cousin of mines started building here a tiny home so that she have a place to live when she come and I wanted to stack on top of hers. I will only use it for a Airbnb just to keep extra money because I’m not sure how long the trucking business will last I’m the US after going broke last year it has pushed me towards opening a Ghanaian business as my priority here. Thanks so much for the tips and thanks for watching.

    Yes King you a true hustler.but legally. 🤣 I saw where many sell their homes in the west hoping that will sustain them but if you are fortunate to have a home where you can create separate units with separate entrances or simply rent out especially in this economy, you should be able to create a nice monthly income to more than sustain you in the motherland. In NY and many other places people are paying 2k or more a month for a freaking efficiency; crazy.

      Oh no the land will not be scarce because of the hand full of us moving here because I am the only American for miles miles and miles where I live. That will not be sold up because some chiefs are selling the land at high prices and even many Americans can’t afford them. There is so much untouched land here it’s unbelievable.

      If you say land will be scarce in Ghana-Accra, I will agree but the entire Ghana,no. I will wish our brothers and sisters coming home should not only focus on buying land in Accra but rather they should go to the towns in other regions which they will get it cheap. Accra is very expensive. If you spend $5 a day on food in Accra you can spend they same $5 on food in other regions for 3 or 4days.

    U can go work for a few months in the us and take back ur money to do ur business in ghana cause businesses fail a lot in some of these African countries,and it's because we prefer to support other people than our own brothers

    How is it that u are American and you are wearing a shirt advertising England? Not that you should be advertising America because both countries are awful but why England?

      Do you wear African wear all day or just white peoples clothes that don’t name the country it was made from? How is it that you are an American but speaking and typing ENGLISH? Once you give up your English, I’ll give up this shirt.
