This is the first time I heard someone talk about the residue that is left in the open area of the stencil...I really needed that tip at the end..thanks.
Best video I’ve seen this far! Looking for the little details that matter for better prints & avoiding those annoying pitfalls. Thank you. You now have a new subscriber 😊
I used to have issues with the water streaks pouring into the design, I realized that the mistake was in drying the screens on their sides. I made the adjustment and started drying the screens flat on the ground, what I do is, I use 4 small containers, and I put the screen on them raising the screen above ground and I put the fan next to them. The excess water pours down off the screen instead of streaking down like it would when dried on their sides. Hope this helps.
It's likely the screen wasn't fully cured, or under exposed. That residue he is talking about is emulsion that ran into the stencil. After drying the screen hold it up to a light and move it around , if you see some shiny (greasy?) looking spots in your stencil than you need to wash those out somehow .
You're da reason I've taken up screen printing.. Watup from Australia.. Can we clean out the image and reuse the inkjet transparency sheet? And it would great if you could show us beginners how you mark your plates. Always love your work.. God bless❤️
Love your content bro!! its very helpful! I'm starting out on my own venture so watching your video's is very insightful and inspiring! Plus your communication is A1! Keep up the great work! Im sure there are many more people like myself benefiting from your knowledge! I appreciate you bro! Stay safe!
Awesome video. I just recently bought some ink remover and Emulsion remover, a big improvement from my old diy style using gasoline and bleach. But since it was my first time, using these chemicals, I still need more practice. I definitely need some good scrubs, as well, a dehazer.
I buy my supplies from ECOTEX on Amazon as well. I use their LED Emulsion because it cures in 20 seconds and holds up to water based inks. A dehumidifier in your screen drying area will dry them out 100% in no time. And I mean DRY!!! Hot water clears the design out in 10 seconds. No need for the pressure washer anymore. After washing out the design, lay them flat, so that the emulsion does not run into the design. Pro tip, back to the dehumidifier to dry out faster. . . Hot water tanks are cheap and easy to install inline to your booth. Dehumidifiers are on sale. It's winter.
You’re welcome 😊 I get my films from screenprintdirect.com and my printer is the Epson Artisan 1430 inkjet printer. They don't make this model no more but you could find them at ebay.
Im trying to look for a printer which is good enough to print on transparent film but i dont want to break the bank if i dont have to. Is there anything specific that i need to look for in a good printer? Any advice would be great bro! Thanks
Hey bud ! Another great and helpful video . Question for you , I am looking at an 8 color press but its not top top quality in fact its a Chinese brand . Its looks like its well built and I dont have a lot of money to buy a high end ! Should I go for it ? Or not waste my money ? Its the ASC365 product # 219009 . I'd love your opinion on it please :) Thankyou !
It's best to get yourself a good press. A lot of people get into screen printing and because they pick up a low quality press they find it hard and quit and the reason is that they didn't get a good quality press. A good quality press will make your learning much easier. Do more research on that ASC365. Thank you.

I've been using canon ix6820 , it works good. Breaks after about 2 years but it's also $2000 less.
How do you put a mesh on the frames?
Thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks for watching
What exposure unit are you using again? I repeat the video twice and couldn't hear it right..Sorry Thanks again
love from India ❤️🇮🇳
Thank you.
Where can I find the svp emulsion? Ryonet switched to another brand.

Thanks!

Make sure is an inkjet printer and it could print large format like 13x19 film. My advice check on Ebay. Seen a lot of good deals on inkjet printers.
What printer,do you use for printing the screen, sir and what kind of ink,,is it regular printer
Artisan 1430 from Epson. It uses regular ink.
So if we use the home depot light for pir burning, would that work for half tones as well?
Yes.
Get a couple 60-80w black lights off Amazon.
I find reclaiming and dehazing 6 screens at a time is more efficient do 6 then wash the first one again no wait time needed.

7:54 whats the name of emulsion?
Hello. I have been trying to screen printing but whenever I start cleaning the screen, the image does not show on the screen. What might be the problem?
Check your exposure time. Plus make sure your screen didn't get any uv light.
Might be bad emulsion
Thank you

PLZ - never ever put degreaser on your fingers 5:38 or skin - cos to degrease your skin is VERY unhealthy!
Thank you. I usually put on gloves but now I know it's a must. Thanks.
@@tainoink No prob my freind! Stay healthy! ;)
