      hi, my name is Eric, I like your video but I still have the problem of washing my screen. I have 230 screens mesh, I used UV light 500 but the image comes out well but when I washing the image some parts will washing out. my question is that, do I have to wash the image from the inside of the mesh or the outer layer of the mesh. I used AP Blue Emulsion

    Hi John. I learnt setting off-contact is required when you are using plastisol inks. But not necessary with water-based inks.

    Hi. I'm new to screen printing and was having problems with ink lifting off shirt. Came across you channel and found what the problem was and now in the process of correcting the off contact. Thanks for the great tip. Now I think I know why the ink was bleeding through the shirt because it was sitting on the shirt and not above. Once again thanks for the fire 🔥 information. May God continues to bless you to bless others.

    I've been trying to figure out for months why some of my test prints had issues after I lifted the screen. I always thought it had to be right on top of the shirt. This is a great video for us new beginners. Definitely earned a subscriber.

    I have a suggestion - take close up photos of each print. Then, edit the photos so it is a split screen that shows the same area of each print. That way we can see a direct side by side of the same portion of the print.

    I have a question. I adjusted my off-contact and my screen is just above the shirt but the screen is not snapping back. Am I using too much pressure to clear the screen?

    • @tainoink
      @tainoink  3 роки тому +2

      That means you have to go higher on the off contact and make sure the screen tension is good.If the screen tension is not tight that might be your problem.

    Looks like the shirt without the off contact moved. When the off contact is to high the screen life will also be diminished. Your tension won’t hold up as long.

      The best printers for multicolored high mesh count, high detail prints do not use off contact but they do use very thin inks. Great Dain Graphics is one example that prints CMYK 303 mesh with NO off contact. There is NO stencil drag.
