FYI this is an indoor houseplant, Buffalo New York is still too cold for growing outdoors.
I think of calling this plant TOMCUMBER :)

do i have to tie the green strings to something for them to grow?\
Hi, not really the vine is strong enough to hold the cucumber, you can use a string on both sides of the container and the vine will wrap itself. Or you can grow the tomatoes on the bottom and the cucumbers on top. I have 3 so far with one of them growing basil so far they are doing good. One thing is they drink a lot of water, especially Tomatoes and cucumbers. Send me a photo of your plant if you want buffalogrowingplants@gmail.com so I can see your progress, Happy Gardening
