3 knitted socks would look perfect for country style decor on your stocking hanger! Also, wood slice tags would be perfect. These projects are so lovely! TFS 🎅🏻🤶🏼
@@lmarie8611 I totally agree! Tho, I do have 2 Cricuts. The Personal one (got it 2006) and The Expression (original) The big newer one is why I’m replying to you. I got it 2nd hand off FB Marketplace for $125. I got the Cricut Expression, 17 Cartridges!!! , A case to put cartridges without boxes in along with the spiral books, 2 mats...1 barely touched and 1 NEW! And 2 little tools. At the time the Cricut Expressions 2 had not come out. New it was running eh...$375. plus 17 cartridges..... ($19 - $70 each) Mats... well you get the point, She could’ve charged $500 for it all and it’d still have been a huge bargain. (I’ve used mine for scrapbooking & Card making.) For just the machines, FB Marketplace has had them around $50! So in case you decide you want one, this is a great option. These prices are all US Dollars
The brown paper gift wrap is great. I used to have my kids draw on it with Christmas themed crayon pictures, iron it to melt the crayon a bit (aka, cool effect) and Voila! Christmas gift wrap! To recycle we actually used brown paper grocery bags cutting around the bottom and up the seam then decorating the blank back. We'd collect pine cones, holly and pine sprigs and use bakers twine or jute cord for bows. I cut wood slices for gift tags years ago before it was a thing! These ways make room in the budget for gifts rather than packaging. Also, the wrappings were great for starting a Christmas fire in the fireplace. Brown bags are great kindling when rolled tight!
just want to thank you I am new to your page , and I like how you write down everything you use in your projects it help me watch you video all the way then I go back , and write what I need ,
A scrapbooking tip I learned that would help with your lettering also is to put the bottom edge of the letters on a ruler, then place the ruler on the item, secure the top of the letter to the item, finishing off by pulling the letters off the ruler to attach to the item.
My son-in-law Robert Vizcarra is a great craftsman. He came up with an idea last year to hang their stockings. He made a stand with different markets pointing different directions to North Pole, Santa’s Shop, etc. then hung the stockings around it placing it near their tree.
I made stocking tags with wood tags from Hobby Lobby. They came in a pack of 12 for a few dollars. I added wood Christmas stickers from Dollar Tree in the corners which made them so cute!
I use 3 stocking holders on my mantle and put a curtain rod across it to hold our stockings. We have 6 human stockings and 2 dog stockings so 8 total... they are on the curtain rod so when we light a fire we just move the curtain rod or slid the stockings to the side!!
l love all the projects. The stocking holder branch, so unique. The Christmas countdown is so cute. I'm sure the kids will love that. All of it, I love it. Thanks Katelyn for all your inspiration.
I'll share this.this is a favorite of mine sometimes I don't have the time to get all my creations and Christmas out so I take my pictures or anything off the walls wrap them alot of curly ribbon and hang them back on the walls i love to do this i pick out 2-3 roll that kinda match and have fun wrapping . Makes the house look so cozy cute.a different idea. You are great keep making videos
Hi Katelyn! I'm in my 50s so probably not what you usually see and I am brand new to crafting. Odd at my age but wanted to let you know that you are amazing and I love your stuff!
If you can’t get a stick, maybe you could try a dowel from the hardware store that fits the hooks. Stain it with the same paint mixture as the tags, decorate it, and I bet it would look good too. Love this idea!!! Lucky little girls to have such a crafty mommy!!! ♥️
I loved the name tags for the stockings. I always used glue and glitter to put the kids names in the stockings, but your idea is much better so I will be changing that this year! Thank you for the Christmas hacks!! You always do a wonderful job with your crafts and decorating! Have an awesome weekend! ❤️😁
Girl you don't look like mom of 3! In fact, first time your channel popped up I thought omgosh this is a teeny bopper I won't expect much. Then watched in awe as you displayed not only creativity but your artistic talent as well! I cudnt draw a snowman without finding round objects to trace around. It amazes me to watch you do it with paint! Loved all these. Tree branch such a cute idea and I really have bn needing some way to hang cards. I really want to do one now with your guidance! Love using craft paper for wrapping but I did find some little red truck paper to use. Hmm no reason I can't use both! They wud coordinate nicely. Thx so much for showing alternative methods for those of us without cricuts. Actually I had one and gave it to my daughter in-law cuz I'm just too old and ornery to learn to use it! Bet your girls are as cute as you. Do they seem to have your artistic abilities?
Liliana Garcia why not just put the letters on the sign itself? The stocking tags to much trouble with painting and distressing we just use glue writing names on the stocking and sprinkle with glitter ✨
I am definitely using at least 2 of these hacks. I been looking for inexpensive but cute tags for our stockings and this is perfect!!! Also the way I have them hanging on the wall on hooks isn’t cute so I’m 100% using the stick Idea. I just love love love your videos!!!!
This is a great DIY hack video. I always love adding pretty things to gift packages....it makes them look extra special. Love these ideas (clever card holder Katelyn!). Thanks so much for sharing and I’m sure your girls are uber excited about Santa coming. I miss those days with my kids (they’re about your age) and our granddaughter is too young to be excited. Have a wonderful weekend!! 🤗 #kindnessmatters
I really like the merry mail card holder and the christmas countdown. My kids are super into counting down to Christmas (and my birthday which is 5 days before Christmas). Thanks for sharing yet another great video.

The painters tape tip is genius! What a great way to make sure your letters are aligned. All of these are so cute AND practical!
I love that you show us that we can still make these without a Cricut. I really liked the rustic giftwrap.
So pretty!!!! Thank you for sharing.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The painter’s tape hack was pure genius!!! 👏
Thank you for that tip about putting the letters on wax paper and than picking them up with painter’s tape!
I really love that you do things in a way that we don't have to have a cricket, as I don't have one but love crafting. I love them all ❤
Absolutely agree. I just can't bring myself to pay $250-$300 for a cricut
Yes it's absolutely better to not use a machine if you can help it because not everyone has one or can afford one.
Totally agree!
@@lmarie8611 plus the vinvyl is expensive
@@lmarie8611 I totally agree!

Love the card display and ways to hang stockings, but so clever

Oh you gotta get up at 5:00. Honey, 5am is the hour of silence. It's the most peaceful cup of coffee on earth.
