I just got a 6.0 claimed lq9 but I have not taken the heads off yet. No top end items came with it so I need a lot of stuff. Including ecm and harness. I am not sure if drive by wire or cable yet. Is there a good eBay ecm seller? Maybe one you have used?
I just type in "ls swap ecu" on ebay and go with whichever one is set up for my engine/transmission/throttle body. All the ones I've bought have been painted black. Just make sure to read their description and that the ecu is ready to go for your swap. Any of them will need a tune if you cam the engine. They're only set up for stock engines to run in a swap.
Nothing wrong with it. You'd like it even less if you saw how it's snaked through the frame rails to the starter lol. And it's never been on fire. Just good ol rust.
@@krustyclassicsgarage it takes time to wear through the insulation. Your exhaust leak is causing it to run rich and is your voltage always that low? Low voltage messes with ecms and causes cars to run weird.
@daviddaniels6818 Yes. Down stream is deleted in the ecu for swaps. I just found these downstream sensors are the only o2s that have the correct plug end for the cheap harnesses
Hey bro, I just want to say I love your dedication to this channel, your totally underrated.. keep grinding. If you need a podcast to listen to check out, the Conspiracy Therapy show, anywhere.
Great video 👍👍
Good stuff. Keep it coming
I’m getting ready to mount my PCM this weekend.
Have you had any issues with your PCM location and water coming into the car?
Nope. I even hit it with the hose when I spray the engine bay lol
@@krustyclassicsgarage Sweet. Good to hear it. I’m probably overthinking it.
@@StreetersGarage most do as we all.have at some point. Just mount it, hook it up, and go.

You need to put something in to protect the power cable from the edge of that trunk pan before you burn your car to the ground. (Again?)

@HicksGarage it's definitely that exhaust leak, which I knew from the beginning and only reads like that on the tablet. It's higher at the battery.
im sure you will cover that but what kit did you get for coil over?
HDK Suspension
@@krustyclassicsgarage ty man. I did RMS on mine but wanted to know more about that kit. For future or another project. Looks really good
Do downstream O2 adjust afr? Maybe a reason for running rich I'm not sure on ur build my first video cool car
All o2s read afr as far as I know
@@krustyclassicsgarage yes they all read but I believe upstream adjust downstream is not needed

@@krustyclassicsgarage only way I think it will run right is with a tune may look into it I might be wrong not sure

Thanks for watching!
How much for ls swap??
I promise it will be somewhere between $47 and $2 million. Kind of depends on a lot of factors. Lol
Today is the first time I have heard you say use down stream o2 sensors. My swap is running rich so I guess I’ll try this.
That's based on the plug type of the harness. Those are just what the cheap Amazon/ eBay harnesses use.
Cool bro
