When I mentioned there was plenty of debate as to when an age changes, etc., this comes down to two main factors. One, the constellations, and thus signs, are not exactly equal in their real-estate of the sky. Using a uniform measurement such as 2150 or 2160 is not necessarily reflective of the reality or the changing of ages. A curious case of variance is the neglected and rather large 13th constellation, Ophiuchus, lying between Scorpio and Sagittarius Or two, the calendar that this is all based off of. I mentioned the Egyptian calendar in this session, that varied from this, I neglected to mention the Mayan, that too varied from this. When I mentioned the Yuga cycle, that definitely varies from this. However, this session, unlike many other on the subject, focuses more on the psychological or numinal development (or becoming) of human kind. The shifts in perspective and perception are more to the intrigue of the course than the exactitudes. Other calendars may get their due credence in future sessions, most notably the yuga cycle.

I could see the myriad of disciplines becoming much more interconnected, specializations and over-categorization will give way to eclecticism. This will be reminiscent of the age of Taurus, seeking permanence, utilizing all that knowledge and interconnectivity gained toward esteemed directives. This age of air will inspire both wonder and great uncertainty, from there, things will begin to appear much more constructive and directed as Capricorn takes the mantle, however, the dark side of Capricorns age will be ignorance and irrefutability. If you are using Western astrology, then you are using a 2000 year old map of the stars which is 24 degrees off of the actual modern sidereal position of the stars. Each Zodiac sign is only 30 degrees wide (360deg/12), so it’s almost off by a whole sign. That would be like using 1960s GPS data to try to figure out your location today, which would not work. During spring equinox (which determines the age) the sun currently rises in Aries, two signs away from Aquarius. But that is only spring in the northern hemisphere.
