Fix the typo in the title
Knowing their rocky relationship at the start, just seeing Adama break down knowing that he possibly lost his only son was heart breaking.
Adama was an extremely proud father but Lee's anger caused a rift between them.
Not his only son. His only living son. He got the other one killed.
@@BlaneNostalgia Not saying Lee didn't do anything wrong but they both had things that they could have done better.
His LAST son, not only. He already lost Zack.
That passenger ship must have some pretty powerful engines if it can take off from a planet's surface while hauling an entire concrete parking garage around in its lower deck. It even has curbs and painted yellow lines for gods' sake!
Always been one of my favourite locals-know bits; It's the car deck of a BC Ferry, almost completely unmodified 🤣
Still a Gold Standard for mini-series science fiction.
A gold standard for writing, period.
What happened after this? Execs saw the repeated critical & public acclaim for the series and went, "nah, we can't have that again"?
@@scawmper Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. I've been amazed by the degrading quality of movies and TV shows in the last 10-15 years. It's like people have forgotten how to make things great.
You know, seeing as how hard as F' Laura turned out, it makes you wonder about some of your old schoolteachers. Your 4th grade homeroom teacher might have been a serious, throw them out the airlock type person after all, and you were probably right to fear her.
Just realized that what Adama said about Roslin was nearly verbatim echoed by Cain.
Title suggestion: Apollo disobeys Adama's orders. You have to change the title anyway.
"We're in the middle of a war and your taking orders for a schoolteacher??" Classic :)
Olmos is sooo fucking good in this series!
Was trying to figure out where I've seen the pilot guy, he was in Band of Brothers xD
Oh I think I know who he is in Band of Brothers. Forget his name.
he was also a short-lived captain of the prometheus in sg1.
I love this scene so much
...even I know what happens, this scene still hurts to watch.
James Edward Olmos really sold it, the desperation and sorrow
Dang it!! Do i have to watch this show again lol
What is his problem with school teacher? 😅
