you probably know this but just in case, the teslong focus is a set distance but can be adjusted by how far the mirror is screwed on, that way it can focus in different caliber rifles, also the mirror with a red stripe on it is 35*angle , won't give you the light bounce back like all the 45* mirrors do. would love to see that before and after for the carbon ring so I'll know what to look for! Thanks for hosting PA while he's in the area, that's how I got hooked onto your show.
I'd love to watch you, panther hollow, and pursuit of accuracy put together a video. I have the same setup as your cz457 almost and love it by the way.
GREAT SHOOTING CHRIS ...!!!! ARKEN EVER DAY ...!! CANT SEE $2500.00 FOR A SCOPE ... !!! CYCLOPS DISCOUNT ...!!!!!! WIN, WIN....!!!!!!!!! DOUBLE G. HERE
I have 4 of the EPL4 6x24x50 Arkens. I also have Vortex Diamondback, and Athlon Helos all in the same configuration. There is a reason I have 4 Arkens. I would step up from that SH4 for the few extra bucks. Glass is clearer on that model.
I noticed the cap swap. Did he bring a t-shirt, as well. Finding the ammo lot that is best for your rifle is key. I have some SK long range that my CZ 457 loves, but when that lot is gone I may cry, then hunt for the next best lot. I enjoy your videos. Be kind to Josh.
It's amazing to me how "hugely" different Eley Black Box ammo shoots from lot to lot. I have 3 lots here and one is just terrible and one is just meh and the third is good but not great. I'm shooting them from a Bergara B14R with a Bartlein barrel and an Anschutz 54. I recently bought some Tenex to try and none of my rifles liked it. Listen for $17 or more a box it should be delivered by a good looking college coed in short skirt with pizza and beer. I have some Old Eley Silhouex that my Anschutz shot a 100 yard target in the .3s and the same with my Bergara and a Remington 513T shot outstanding as well. I called Killoughs and taked to the guy who fires the rifles for lot testing. I told him about the Eley black box and tenex and i was not impressed and the the Silhouex was fantastic what gives?. He said i have a Unicorn lot that shoots well in all my rifles and to send my rifle to them for testing at 25 and 50 yards. To which I relpied my rifles shoot at least 5. cheap ammos great at 50 and I wasn't interested in shooting Tenex at 50 and have to buy 2500 rounds to have them test my rifle. I want something that will shoot lights out at 100 and beyond like every centerfire rifle i have. I guess Berger is going to have to start making rimfire ammo for that to happen.
Fun stuff. I'm just getting used to my new stock, steel barrel B14r, comparing it to my T1X in an Oryx chassis. I can see building up a CZ457 in the future too. BTW, Panther Hollow is challenging you and Josh to a match 🙂
@Alf Ram if I had to keep one it'd be the B14r. I just like the Remington 700 action and the nice beefy stock/chassis. It feels more like a full-sized centerfire rifle, less like a .22, if that makes sense.
Are you using Josh’s audio equipment in this video? This is the first one I’ve noticed sounds perfect when your on the bench shooting. Great videos keep them up.
great video.. are those low scope rings ? Im getting the same rifle .. and i have ordered an ARken EP L 4 with 50 objective for it , i dont know if i will have fitting issues
Hey that is pretty good shooting I want to try an arkin I think it is the sh 5 gen 2 in 5×16 ×50 what do you think about the new 5 jen 2 and by the way I found that sk seems to shoot a little better than the eley does what do you think? Beagleman
That’s got to be the smoothest, shiniest barrel I’ve eve seen. Now you know you have to foul the barrel before she starts to group. Wind and target movement don’t help.
My son's CZ varmint shoots eley slightly better than SK. My CZ with match chamber closes hard on eley so I can't shoot it at a match, just doesn't chamber smoothly...
@@midwest_long_range looking forward to seeing what you do with it. Between you and Josh (POA) I'm itching to get a CZ457. Currently working with/on a 10/22.
@@midwest_long_range I can see that for sure. Being on a fixed income I can only do so much at a time. My better half always says good things come to those who wait.....the waiting is the hard part. Lol
At 4:40 that was Awesome! The second shot went through the same HOLE!! Awesome Shooter you are!
Thanks man

CHRIS..!!! I SEE THE TARGET MOVING OR CAMERA..? ? ? DOUBLE G. HERE...!!!!!!!!
The target moves in the wind some. I need to brace the stand..
Thanks for sharing Techniques on Target Shootn.👍🏻🇺🇸🎯
Still waiting for my Arken in the Mail going from my 8-32x44 Mueller.🤞🏻
Good looking cap you're wearing.......Hope Josh is behaving
That guy don’t know how 🤣
My pro varmint loves anything Lapua.
The scope is fine. I have one on a custom 25-06 Savage build. Half dollars at 200. Might be your eye or your gun...
Scope works great, the gun doesnt particularly care for the ammo though..
Some of my rifles have been picky bout ammo. My 22 never missed witth cci mini mags. Shot hundreds

Panther hollow is calling you out! Don't be scared
I tryed this with black and red eley maybe i should revisit I didn’t think of so many Fowler shots
On a good lot at the moment shooting through a Cz 457 16 inch.
Very nice shootin. Great scope
thanks buddy.

I haven’t had a chance to look through the newest Arken yet, sk has always preformed well for me but it really just depends on the rifle.

how ling is the factory barrel on your cz457? it looks longer than the 16.5" i've read it is. thanks!
What's up w this call out I've heard about from Mike at panther hollow?
hello, can you do your 0 to 50 yars or less with this rail and the arken?
Thank you.
My CZ457 does not like SK. It loves ELEY
its good stuff, i'm gonna keep working with it.

What bolt knob do you have on your cz 457 in this video
It was on it when I bought the rifle used. I have recently switched to a EGW knob
Did you ever get your cheek riser that you wanted on this?
Man I have it sitting here but I’ve been so busy running around and shooting matches that I haven’t gotten it done yet.
