Insomniac Venom is finally here and after finishing the game and debating on what videos to first make, I figured why not talk about the arguably strongest being in the insomniac verse, and see what exactly he is capable of. So already going into the second game Venom, codenamed VNM-252, is a major antagonist in the Marvel's Spider-Man video game series, serving as the main antagonist of Marvel's Spider-Man 2. It is an alien symbiote that bonds with human bodies to use as hosts. It briefly appears in the endings of both the first game (post-credits) and Miles Morales (mid-credits), where Harry Osborn was confirmed to be its prime host until the third installment.we know both Peter and Miles have showcased extremely different levels of power. Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is a 2023 action-adventure game developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It is based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man, and features a narrative inspired by its long-running comic book mythology which is also derived from various adaptations in other media. It is the third entry in the Marvel's Spider-Man series, acting as a sequel to Marvel's Spider-Man (2018) and a follow-up to Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales (2020). In this installment, Peter Parker and Miles Morales struggle to navigate the next steps in their personal lives while combating several new threats, including a private militia led by Kraven the Hunter, who transforms New York City into a hunting ground for super-powered individuals; and the extraterrestrial Venom symbiote, which bonds itself to Parker and negatively influences him, threatening to destroy his personal relationships. The gameplay builds on the foundation established by its predecessors, with an emphasis on the multiple playstyles afforded by Peter Parker and Miles Morales as Spider-Men. The game expands on their existing traversal and combat abilities, including new web-based gadgets and suits that can be unlocked through progressing in the story. It also introduces the former Spider-Man's symbiote suit, granting Parker unique abilities from his previous playable appearance. As with the prior games, content outside the main story consists of completing side-missions and obtaining collectibles dispersed throughout the game's open world, with the player able to switch between Parker and Morales to complete dedicated objectives for each of them. Discussions regarding a proper sequel to Marvel's Spider-Man began during the game's development, with open story threads for future titles being teased across both it and Miles Morales. The game was announced in September 2021. Creative director Bryan Intihar, game director Ryan Smith, narrative lead Jon Paquette and art director Jacinda Chew from Insomniac Games respectively reprise their duties from prior entries, while Yuri Lowenthal, Nadji Jeter and Laura Bailey return to headline the game's ensemble voice cast, which comprises other returning actors and characters from the previous games. Jim Pirri and Tony Todd join the ensemble as the voices of Kraven and Venom, respectively. Marvel's Spider-Man is a series of action-adventure video games developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for PlayStation consoles and Microsoft Windows. Based on characters appearing in Marvel Comics publications, the games are inspired by the long-running comic book lore, while additionally deriving from various adaptations in other media. The series principally follows protagonists Peter Parker and Miles Morales, who fight crime in New York City as Spider-Men while dealing with the complications of their civilian lives. I'd like to mention that venom in insomniac universe is fire proof unlike in 616 universe harry mentioned that the suit makes him fire proof and in the boss fight between venom and kraven we clearly see that venom goes through fire without hesitation

616 venom and carnage are currently both immune to fire. Both of them have knulls powers + more
I love the symbiote in this game. When the hunters are attacking Harry and Pete and you get the symbiote blast is my favorite part of the game. Once Harry turned off the particular accelerator he was piiiiissed
Yeah Venom's a damm monster, goated video btw i just have a few stuff that wasn't included here as well as couple of contentions. The little here and there feats are not too big of deals but it's in regards to Peter who in the first game sent low pressure shockwaves through Harlem with mere ground pounds, that feat's been calced if i'm not wrong to like city block level which is consistent for Venom as you guy's mentioned with what he does and him spreading through New York pretty quickly. For my small contentions it's him being the strongest in the verse, because altough he does beat Anti Venom Peter in their fight he also gets overpowered and damaged by Peter a good amount of times, and in his fight with Miles altough he had him on the ropes at one point he legit breaks out of it and in their fight Miles overpowers him multiple times, he does later on hold his own against Miles and Peter and endures their combined punches but for the most part he was getting beat up in the 2v1, which isn't an anti feat since they gang up on him just something i wanted to bring up. Yo amazing video but there was something about the whole miles Harlem feat, The one that calculation is excluding the fact that the bomb was consistently stated to vaporize all of Harlem would put it away higher teir, and other calculations for the specifics and energy of the bomb put it at around 30 something megatons

I thought Peter's best feat from the first game was beating rhino after he destroyed multiple city blocks.

Venom in my opinion is killed by Spider-Man 😢 in alternate universes and he still has the no kill rule
You had my attention until CRISIS was brought in, so I won't even try and form an opinion on Insom Venom for the video, at least the thumbnail looks engaging for people who don't have my grievances with that UA-camr.
If they do make a Venom solo game I think it should star Eddie Brock this time, I admit having Harry Osborn as Venom serve as a antagonist and final boss was a smart move, but I think Venom own game should star someone actually was Venom in the comics.

I really enjoyed the game but it could have easily been better. It's a good 8/10 for me.
Venom is immune to fire electricity and sound the only time he shows to be effected by this is when harry gains control which makes venom weak and he bodied both Spider-Men who both have specific abilities that are post to be effective against him but still get bodied if it wasn’t for harry they would probably loose and can regenerate instantly and killed kraven who killed electro,shocker, vulture, and rhino and scorpion and stated rhino was able to destroy 6 city blocks if I’m correct and took over the city in a couple of minutes and the symbiote took out the lizard who grew stronger by the minute with little difficulty and if he won he would be planetary level as he would destroy and convert the world into darkness and can turn any place around him into black goo substance which can spew out tendrils when touched and was able to grow wings to make him reach the Emily foundation in a few seconds to minutes from the school and could jump from building to building with ease catch up with Peter effortlessly and catch missiles and exploding arrows his symbiotic powers were able to effect the city without the meteorite and with it he could essentially take over the world can create giant symbiotic structures and was so fast Pete’s spider sense was useless and he got caught off guard multiple times throughout the fight with venom and venom would destroy Spider-Man but he wanted him to join him as he knew Spider-Man’s potential
He’s at least large city-continent level
And if he won multi continent-planetary

During the boss battles, you can use cars, alarms, Oscorp tech, etc. to stun Venom with sound.
Miles comments that Evolved Venom (Blue electricity) works against Venom.
Regular Venom (the orange electricity) doesn’t seem to work against Venom (the villain) tho.

I do hope in a dlc we get eddie brock as venom cause again the game was great but it's not venom without eddie so hopefully if dlc promise anything with would be possible.
Here's hoping it happens maybe the tease him and venom bonding at the end of the dlc and teasing the solo game if it happens
