@@novcane4216 it’s probably because DB has almost made it a tradition to do the Bat-family vs the Spider-family, and this was the next most likely villain match up. 2 big buff dudes with a personal vendetta against the main character that are physically stronger than them through the use of a mysterious substance called “Venom” and act as a dark mirror of who the hero is.

Honestly I wish they made better use of the fact that Bane was supposed to be a tactical genius on par with Batman as opposed to just a physical brute. I loved the fact that you managed to include the Venom fight theme from the Ultimate Spider-man Video Game and the Batman V Superman dawn of Justice theme.
Was really hoping that for this episode, the guys would use the beautifully drawn art from Marvel vs Capcom 2, as it's some of the best Venom animation I've ever seen. Great episode as always.
The Burning Phoenix yeah I'm sure that was the intent. It just made it difficult to see what was going on for a lot of the movements. Still a great fight! Just thought it could be a tad better.

Mahati to be honest for bane it’s a bit of an outlier. He gets knocked out by a peak human Batman yet is also able to take hits from Super Batman? And while Venom would get wrecked if Hulk or Juggernaut actually tried, he can legitimately take at least ONE hit from one of them consistently since he is superhuman.
@Mahati When did that happen? As far as I know, Bane never fought Superman in the main timeline, only in the animated series and Injustice, and each time Bane was buffed and/or Superman was weakened. Bane only fought against an alternate version of Batman with Superman's powers, but weaker, and man, believe me when I say it didn't end well for poor Bane

Bright side is that this death battle was made way before Venom had gotten more powerful. Such as the ability to sprout wings on his back, strong enough to fight Knull, the god of symbiotes with a little help and dark carnage after assimilating symbiote codexes to make him more powerful.

@@LuckyVarma11 Not quite. Carnage is faster and more mutable. Carnage also lives inside of Casadey's blood and so can never be seperated from him. But...he is NOT physically stronger than Venom. Whenever Carnage is forced to go blow for blow against Venom....Carnage is on the losing end and has to run away to reset the fight in favor of his speed and blade skills, or have someone else intervene to do the same thing. Once Venom gets in close and can get his hands on Carnage...Carnage is screwed every time. Even the other symbiotes, only Riot is physically stronger than Venom. The others are just more versatile and thus can display a certain superiorority. Once they get in Venom's hands though...they all lose out to his physical strength other than Riot who IS physically stronger and forces Venom into trying to be strategic.

Silver1989 that's like saying Venom is a more insane and brutal version of Spiderman. The characters are very different in terms of demeanor, mannerisms, ideology, behavior, and mental states. This version of Venom(merged with Eddie Brock) ended up wanting to be an anti-hero and ended up very Punisher-esque whereas Carnage has always been a merciless and unrepentant serial killer.
Although I do agree that Dexter would come out on top, I think that Jimmy could hold his own pretty well. Under times of extreme pressure he's able to do his signature "Brain Blast" which significantly amps his already Einstein level IQ. Plus, in the first Jimmy Neutron movie, he thwarted an entire race's plan to destroy Earth, with just the help of a bunch of average 4th and 5th graders.
I could barely see Venom at all in this fight. This is the one instance where I wish y’all used that garishly bright-blue sprite he had in Marvel vs Capcom 1.
Death Battle should do good Marvel vs DC fights like: Thor vs Shazam Punisher vs Red Hood Daredevil vs Nightwing Black Panther vs Batman Wolverine vs Deathstroke Doctor Strange vs Doctor Fate Silver Surfer vs Captain Atom Beta Ray Bill vs Black Adam Elektra vs Lady Shiva Iron Fist vs Bronze Tiger ...... I loved the fact that you managed to include the Venom fight theme from the Ultimate Spider-man Video Game and the Batman V Superman dawn of Justice theme.
Was really hoping that for this episode, the guys would use the beautifully drawn art from Marvel vs Capcom 2, as it's some of the best Venom animation I've ever seen. Great episode as always.

The Burning Phoenix yeah I'm sure that was the intent. It just made it difficult to see what was going on for a lot of the movements. Still a great fight! Just thought it could be a tad better.
Giulio Fois well of course it was going to be hard to see as I said he's blending in it wouldn't make sense to see him just like in the batman fights they did where you can't see batman in the dark it wouldn't make sense why the character their fighting can't see that character if it was bright as day
the minute they said "he took hits from the likes of Juggernaut and the Hulk" the outcome of this match was predicted. Bane is awesomely lethal but not that awesome.
Mahati to be honest for bane it’s a bit of an outlier. He gets knocked out by a peak human Batman yet is also able to take hits from Super Batman? And while Venom would get wrecked if Hulk or Juggernaut actually tried, he can legitimately take at least ONE hit from one of them consistently since he is superhuman.
@Mahati When did that happen? As far as I know, Bane never fought Superman in the main timeline, only in the animated series and Injustice, and each time Bane was buffed and/or Superman was weakened. Bane only fought against an alternate version of Batman with Superman's powers, but weaker, and man, believe me when I say it didn't end well for poor Bane

Bright side is that this death battle was made way before Venom had gotten more powerful. Such as the ability to sprout wings on his back, strong enough to fight Knull, the god of symbiotes with a little help and dark carnage after assimilating symbiote codexes to make him more powerful.

Venom has BEEN my favorite Comic Book Character since I was 3 years old and Bane I've loved since Batman TAS but to me this honestly (without personal bias) seems like a onesided match

@@LuckyVarma11 Not quite. Carnage is faster and more mutable. Carnage also lives inside of Casadey's blood and so can never be seperated from him. But...he is NOT physically stronger than Venom. Whenever Carnage is forced to go blow for blow against Venom....Carnage is on the losing end and has to run away to reset the fight in favor of his speed and blade skills, or have someone else intervene to do the same thing. Once Venom gets in close and can get his hands on Carnage...Carnage is screwed every time.
Even the other symbiotes, only Riot is physically stronger than Venom. The others are just more versatile and thus can display a certain superiorority. Once they get in Venom's hands though...they all lose out to his physical strength other than Riot who IS physically stronger and forces Venom into trying to be strategic.

And even if we're going off the symbiote playing off of Eddie's current mindset, he was brutish and domineering, rather than psychotic and unpredictable as he's presented here. Not saying Venom wouldn't have won regardless, but he definitely wouldn't have acted like that.

The characters are very different in terms of demeanor, mannerisms, ideology, behavior, and mental states.
This version of Venom(merged with Eddie Brock) ended up wanting to be an anti-hero and ended up very Punisher-esque whereas Carnage has always been a merciless and unrepentant serial killer.
