Yeah you can use “Flynbye” if you don’t mind waiting months for your parts. I ordered the ls1 spindle, hub,& bracket kit from flynbye in October and didn’t receive them until January and I had to threaten to call my credit card company to cancel the payment before he sent them to me. I know it’s a side business for him but that was way to long and I’ll never use him again. Cool video though sorry for the rant :)
Yeah seriously don't use flynbye. I went with kore3 great communication and got my lines quick. I have videos of my car on my channel if you wanna check it out
I am currently in the process of collecting all the bits and pieces for this upgrade. From other tutorials I've heard that the stock bolts to connect the caliper can be used. Other people (also you) say that the mounting have to get bored out. Are there some different spindles depending on the year of the car? Do you have a partnumber of the bolts you used to mount the Calipers? Thanks!
Did you installed a brake proportioning valve? And tested and set it, as explained in another youtube miata video and regain front/rear wheel lock as the stock setup the factory dialed. Should set to front and rear to lock at the same time, And then dial a little more front lock. And also regaining oversteer understeer stock setup Both of these setups can be dangerous is not addressed. Another youtube brembo instalation ended locking the the front tires At a minimum pedal presure.
Nice video, good info. One thing, I would of done different. I would of gotten braided brake lines, gives u a firmer pedal. The rubber lines expands when you press pedal.
So I got the cts v 6 piston calipers and bore out the 2015 camaro ss rotors(14 inch). Rotors are too small haha, have to go with a minimum 14.4 inch rotor
great vid man....where are you located? so if I got it right CTS-V Calipers 10'SS rotors.drill out the center hub to fit 4th Gen specs ,brake lines and drill out the two caliper bolts? damn...I gotta do some shopping too and get this set up. I'm riding on the 12'stock size rotors with stop tech rotors and ceramic hawk pads, will I notice a difference?
I'm in Los Angeles. Yes you have to drill out the center and the caliper mounting holes. Shop around to get the best prices. You'll notice a huge difference if you upgrade to Brembos.

Can you also do the rear calipers for the ctsv on the rear brakes or only the fronts work on 4th gens?
Gotta love GM
No doubt! I run the 4 piston cts calipers and it's a huge improvement over stock. I have videos of my ss on my channel
great video. About to do this on a procharged 96. Going with gen 2 ctsv calipers. Pretty excited

Exactly. I run kore3 braided lines with 4 piston calipers and stoptech rotors. I have videos of my ss on my channel if you wanna check it out

Thanks for the Tech. Considering Camaro Brembos on a S10 with C6 wheels, with lots of suspension mods.
What about for the rears ? Did you do the full front nd rear cts v brake conversion or just fronts . ..
Will the 4piston brembos work for the rear?
Do you think I could use the same brake calibers to a 240 volvo thks and where you buy the calibers thks again for video
Cant the Ctsv rear callipers fit on rear 9f 98 Camaro?
I need to know the size(diameter) of pistons pls.
What did you do for he rears?
when you did this to you have to use any washers to Center the caliper?
Can this be done on a 2003 Silverado 1500?
Were u able to do rear 2
No. You don't want big brakes on the rear. The rear of the car is too light.
I really need to do this thanks for the info.
