You need to visit the Terrace Chippy in Douglas too, they have the best chips,cheese and cravy easily the best chippy on the island. and also go to barbary coast! most popular restaurant on the island, basically our own version of nandos. Hi you two lovely people!! I lived on the IOM for 4 years back in the 90s. I saw my old house in Castletown in the background of this video. I got way too excited when i saw it, nearly wet myself. 🥴 My house looked over the harbour opposite the castle. The pod you stayed in was really lovely and so clean and fresh looking. Two of my Aunties used to hang their backsides of the back of sidecars. They learnt the art first on Grass tracks in the Pennines which im guessing still continue?
@@CharliePauly The situation was wildly different. No one had a tv as far as I can remember, so had to pass the time away with other things. There was more of a Community than today outside, as the Car wasn't common or electric lights, and the Motorbike was King. If you wanted to be with your Man then you had to join in. Hurtling around a bend was as common as watching Coronation street is today. The kids did it and the Mum's and Dad's and even my Grandma. I'm not sure if women have changed much as my Daughter likes Hurtling and I expect her Daughter will as well. I'd recommend a bit of hurtling for everyone as it makes all your cheeks rosy red, and the TV can't do that. A possible side effect of no TV and much Hurtling, was there was not many overweight people, much sex, and large families could be the norm. Once you sit in front of the TV it all goes pear shaped, and hanging such a huge thing off the back can be a sudden shock for the front end, and you often crash.
I think you ought to hit up some of the big hair products companies for advertising, with Lauren as the (super)model. Stunning hair. At the rate it's growing it'll be down to the ground soon.

I do so like the cosy place that you stayed at. I loved the scooters and the Quad bike rides through the forest. I think Lauren is turning into real biker girl. Going around the TT course the on large trike looked awesome. Still can't believe that you've not heard of the TT races. The Isle of Man during World War 2 was home to thousands of Prisoners of war that our troops had captured. They were mainly Italian and were treated a damn side better than our poor lass that had been captured by the Germans and Japanese. Many of the Italians didn't want to leave the Island and many others would holiday there after the war. Did you get to see the Laxey wheel it's is the largest working waterwheel in the World. Unfortunately it's not working at the moment and due to be repaired in 2022. I have a love/hate relationship with fireworks. They are great to watch but I hate the thought of all that pollution going up in the air especially with all the climate control summits going on at the moment. Great vlog of the Isle of Man. You haven’t done the most important part of the Isle of Man. The no speed limit thing is a full day of fun. Hire a car and do timed laps around the island. Everyone knows a hire car is the fastest car in the world

Not easy here in W Australia; they only serve white vinegar. My husband is not happy. My solution? Don't have chips. We are expats from the UK and love your vlogs.

You haven’t done the most important part of the Isle of Man. The no speed limit thing is a full day of fun. Hire a car and do timed laps around the island. Everyone knows a hire car is the fastest car in the world
