- A road-trip style video covering my visit to Workbench 2024 (South West Amiga Group) on October the 12th, 2024.
Footage is a bit shaky in places, but I hope this gives you a flavour of the event. :)
I tried to cover everything going on there, but as is the way with these events it's not always possible to do so given the amount of people you get speaking to, so not always possible to film everything.
Thanks for watching.
Thanks also to the event organisers, who did an amazing job at bringing together such a wonderful event for the community. Great work.

YA.
Looked like a fun day.
Congratulations on winning the A500. 👍
Thank you. I have plans… 😈
Thanks for doing the video YA, that was great. I hope you don't mind but I will write a report up with the video and put it on our website. Thanks for all your help keeping it entertaining, it's strange as I don't get to see much of the talks until I see your videos. Please feel free to upload more :)
No problem Dave. Feel free to mention it in the report. It was a great event! Thanks again. 😎
I bet the The Dog Inn is very busy at night. LOL.
The car park is probably quite full. 😱😂
@@YawningAngelRetro 🤣
It does good food and beer, though! :D
Nice stream!!! Was kindaand interesenting "weird" seeing you witjout hat ;-) And congrats for the A500!!!!
Many thanks. It was a fun event and a fun video to make. 😁
This looks so cool, everyone bringing their own gear and setting up like it's a LAN party. I wish there was stuff like this going on in my area. Sadly there's nothing. Great video BTW.
Many thanks. The organisers have got it pretty much nailed and it gets better each year.
A fantastic video you've put together. I was hoping someone had managed to take footage of the talks.
Thank you so much for being part of our speaker line-up and congratulations on winning the A500. I can't wait to see what you do with it!
Many thanks Rob. I had a blast. It’s always great catching up with you all.
I have started making a list for the 500, and have seen a replacement case that I want. And so starts the expense. 😂
im pretty new in this retro computer stuff, but i have loved it since i was like 3 when i played some games on my dads c64 and i hope these demoparties and other meetings will continue in my life time :D
@@Yeahrik11 It is good to see that there is a large following in the retro community to ensure these type of events continue. I’m sure they will keep going for a good while yet. 😎
@@YawningAngelRetro yes i hope :D
Amazing skill (to win an Amiga like that) hehe ❤
Thanks 😆
I now officially have no space for more retro systems. 🤦♂️
So cool you did a talk and the event looked pretty cool
Thanks Daph. Yeah, it was fun. 😎
nice. I love roadtrip vids
@@8bitmanshed Many thanks. It was fun doing it. 😅
Slightly disappointed you didn't have the hat on in the car 🃏
Is it wrong to say I did consider it…? 😂
if the A600 Gs peripherals are compatible with the A600 im sold. if not its old.
I’m really not sure about that.
