- Jaubi - live from District 19 in Karachi, Pakistan.
Supported by British Council, Dialled In, Karachi Community Radio & Cape Monze Records.
To coincide with Boiler Room’s historic debut broadcast from Pakistan, we are releasing a limited edition T-shirt to raise funds for Karachi Community Radio, a vital hub for DJs and musicians in the country.
All proceeds generated will be donated directly to the radio station to buy audio and recording equipment which is otherwise scarce in Pakistan.
The T-shirt features a custom Boiler Room Pakistan logo designed by Sana Nasir who says the design presents “a message of love from Pakistan, a country that’s mostly seen as volatile by the rest of the world.

Dangerous for tourists. Foreign cricketers had to leave the country many times for the danger of bomb blast.
@@RitikRai-kc4oc lol. Wake up brother. You are living in 2016 i guess.
@@arslanahmed1338 Oh my bad! I didn't knew that happened in 2016 too.. Last time I heard, it was 18 September 2021 when NZ cricketers had to leave Pakistan for Dubai over bomb scare.

What kind of flute is that? Is it a Bansuri? If so, which key is the Bansuri in?
This Pakistan tour is great. Such a good way to get a fresh perspective on a country.
Saw them live at Wonderfruit Festival Thailand last year. Amazinggggg!!
What is this kind of music called, like what is the *~*genre*~*?
jazz fusion. with elements of jazz, hip-hop, and pakistani classical music

I wonder what that dude with the bongos could do with an MPC, that's some insane finger drumming. Did I say bongos? Yeah, insane bongos!
It's called a tabla, much more complex than a bongo :)
@@muali could you explain that please? They look very similar.
@@GeorgeBox94 both drums sound completely different. The right one (tabla) is used for either flat-sounding notes if you play on the black part (siyahi), or open notes if you play on the edges or the center. The left drum (dagga) can be used to add bass to any note you play, and you can use your left wrist to modulate the bass however you want. Basically since both drums sound so different, it opens up a world of opportunities. You can watch how Zakir Hussain or Tari Khan play it to understand the complexity.
@@muali thank you, i understand now. Best regards.
Bongos lol 🤦♂️ it's a tabla my man
