What I want is Toyota to offer proper Landcruisers in the USA: 300 and 70’s series. They should offer something akin to the FJ40 that competes with Wrangler and Bronco. 4Runner, FJ Cruiser and Lexus GX are based on Landcruiser Prado, but are all essentially the same offerings competing against each other (instead of FJ Cruiser we now have whatever the new “Landcruiser” is but it’s just a yuppified FJ Cruiser, isn’t it?). If they’re not gonna give us a modern FJ40, why not go back closer to the Gen 1 4Runner?
