Please find the Most Streamed ESC Songs of All the time till June 2022
I have collected the number of the Streams from UA-cam, Shazam & Spotify 2021.
A bit to explain how I count the numbers :
- Spotify - Number of streaming, that also includes remixes or different versions of the same songs and artists
- Shazam - Same as Spotify
- UA-cam - Here is a long journey: Number includes:
- Official videos views
-Unofficial videos view when the song is just a background
- If the official video has over 1mln streams I don't count the videos below 20,000 views.
-If the song did not reach 1 mln then views have been counted up to 10.000
- Same song but the cover by the other bands, different remixes, or performances with talent shows (where singers are singing exact songs) are included. I believe it gives also the perception of how this song became popular.
-ESC rehearsals
- live concerts

Italy is definitely owning Eurovision. So many italian entries in the Top 10 and since their return in 2011, they've been always consistent and managed to be in the top 10 almost every time. ❤
Agree , San Remo's popularity is huge
It's because Sanremo is so popular in Italy! The songs that win and go to Eurovision are always quality, for sure, but a *lot* of these views come from Italians who love Sanremo and don't care about Eurovision.
@@Marzi29 among ESC fans Sanremo is also a thing as Melodifestivalen in Sweden . San Remo is recognised in Poland as well as festival

wow, Duncan Laurence has more than the double amount of Streams than second place. And there is an exact 10 year time difference between those songs. (Alexander Rybak 2009 and Duncan 2019) just wow. Must have been played in the entire world then. Seems like he is the most successfull Eurovision winner of all times. Always thought it was Loreen tbh.
During the pandemic Arcade has become viral and global hit. It got to Top 100 US Billboard Chart
Actually it is still Loreen, but when Euphoria came out, Spotify wasn't really used (apart from Scandinavian countries)
Volare is the most popular song
Arcade became popular after his winning, in 2019 Soldi had more streams than Arcade

With the recent popularity of Snap, it will definitely enter the top 10

Given the fact I contributed over 4000 streams for My Lucky Day last year, I'm proud to see it on the list.
I think one of the most streamed songs of Eurovision is "Volare" Domenico Modugno. Most people know this song like a cover by Gipsy Kings and other artists. But this song takes a part in Eurovision too and not its fault that the original isn't popular like cover

Yeah, Raphael and Nina aren't really popular in Italy (and moreover they have other songs with many more streams that didn't go to Eurovision)
2011, 2012, 2014 and 2016 are the only ones here that didn't also win sanremo, so it makes a lot of sense that they're the lowest 4

Love the video, but I almost can't keep up with the title, performer, country and streams. I'd put the number of streams to the name of the performer so you don't have to watch 2 corners at once.

Some older songs in this video, really nice.
After about 17 minutes the video clips started stalling at the beginning. Is that on everybodys device, or just mine? Very noticeable around the 20 minute mark.
Germany's "Satellite" by Lena is so popular. What's the reason it won? maNga's song seems so much more powerful (and better in my eyes), so I'm surprised it didn't win. German btw.
Since its discovery I've been a fan of "Hard Rock Hallelujah". Great to see they have such a big audience behind them. #15 well deserved.
Was also waiting for "Waterloo" to show up. This song made them famous worldwide, and they are a great band.
I will always hate "Toy" by Netta.

wow that was so interesting. one mistake: Salvador Sobral is listed as no.41 with 75.549.265, should be no.61 ( exactly the same number of streams than Kalush). So everyone from no.60 to 42 is one place higher. :-)

It's logical that arcade is the number 1 on one site. It got a tiktok hit that got in de USA in the top. But looking at all the partisepents then he is a 1 hit wonder. The eurosong song from for example måneskin wasn't a world wide big success as arcades but it started their career.
