- 2022 was the first Eurovision that I ever fully experienced (I live in the US lol), and I've since gone back and watched every edition from 2000 onwards. These are my LEAST favorite entries from each country. Some of my picks will probably surprise you :P

Completely agree on Russia 2018 being the absolute worst. Nothing was creepier, in the audience for Semi 2, than watching the stage crew humping a plastic mountain onto the stage with Julia already firmly attached to the top. It looked unpleasant, sounded awful, and I could just picture them carrying the mountain off and leaving her attached til the end. Ugh.

It's admittedly not my line, there's a different ESC UA-camr named Gamesolotl that used it and I think it just works really well as a descriptor for some of these entries. I'd recommend his videos, he's a lot meaner than me but I personally think his comments are hilarious :P

I totally agree with you about "Brividi", I don't know what my people was thinking when they chose it ahahahaha. A 6th place stolen for sure. haahahhaah. Guys, just explain how 110 points from televote was possible.

Does anyone realize, JH3's least favorite entries' artist was actually the uncle of JH3's favorite entries' artist?
TL;DR: Gary O'Shaughnessy (Who was Ireland's 2001 artist) is Ryan O'Shaughnessy's (Who was Ireland's 2018 artist, 17 years later!) uncle.
And the nephew was way better than his uncle.

About the Austrian entry you picked:
It feels like they send a UA-camr of that time which made "comedy videos" involving only Peepee-Jokes and other fecal Humor.
And understanding German just makes it worse somehow.
Probably worst entry ever (including Israel 2000 which gives me headaches, the troll songs of Montenegro and Ireland which can be at least be guilty pleasures and half the UK stuff where everyone is just slightly missing the Notes)
Italy 2022 is my 3rd favorite of then in all time after 2021 & 2019🫢
The only song you picked here I would disagree with is Brividi from Italy. I absolutely loved it and listened to it in repeat. It was even my winner before the show. But, gosh, I just... I can't with their vocals and the plain staging. They killed the magic of the song (and I completely understand why you dislike this entry)😭
IIRC one of the two missed an entrance close to the big dramatic part which took some of the wind out of their sails....
Heavily agree with so many of your picks here, especially ones like Armenia 2013, Hungary 2012, Russia 2018, etc.
After being so heavily invested in this year’s national finals, it’s always nice for me to look back and remember how much BAD music has made it to the Eurovision stage. If anything the public are just getting better at picking lmaooo
The public are getting better at picking indeed...except in Belgium. And Norway. And Czech Republic. And Estonia. And Romania. And Croatia. And Albania. And Ukraine. And Italy

I think the worst Irish entry is "Irlande douze pointe" in 2008.

I agree with a lot of the songs you picked. Some truly terrible songs there. When it came out I loved Sylvía Nights song because she was representing my country and I was just a dumb 10 year old but now I definitely see it's really annoying but still kind of a guilty pleasure for me

I still feel sick about Sweden 2005, especially since there were a great song by Andreas Johnson (Lovelight) that I think should have won Melodifestivalen.
So I guess you totally forgot about Utopian Land cause Rise Up is not the worse of those two for Greece.
I don't mind Utopian Land that much tbh. It's pretty low quality for Greece but I don't think it's as bad as most people make out
@@JH3Eurovision Most people reagrd it as Greece's worst entry, at least after 2000, and it actually is for me.
I do disagree with a couple of these (like Slovakia), but i can agree with most of them. 2001 really isn't looking like a good year to be honest.
The thing about 2001 is that there's a HUGE divide between the good entries and the bad/boring ones. All of the ones in this video fall under the latter category lol

russia totally set up 2018 to fail (in a very cruel way) and the performance.... not good the backup singers were doing all the work (really obvious when she missed an entrance)
But I still dislike it less than russia 2008... my least favorite winning song ever (by a considerable margin).
I think I made this video before I saw Russia's withdrawn 2017 entry, and...yeah, it's now very obvious to me that they only picked Julia because she traveled through Crimea (illegal in Ukraine) and they wanted to spite Ukraine when they hosted. There was clearly no regard for her musical capabilities because she's quite frankly just not good in either performance (her vocal issues are especially noticeable in Flame is Burning if you listen closely enough). My theory is that Julia still wanted to participate after 2017, so Russia's delegation haphazardly threw something together in 2018 with no attempt at actually making a decent entry because they just didn't care anymore at that point.
what was also incredibly weird was how they tried to hide her wheelchair (look at the official video).... just a mess through and through...
