- In this video, we list the best songs of the last 30 years, that have not won the Eurovision.
We don’t necessarily think that these are better than the winning songs.
All we want to do is to remember some of the songs that got as much acclaim as the winners of the competition.
Since there were more than 700 songs that competed in the finals in the last 30 years, we had to leave some good songs out.
Go ahead and use the comments section to share your favorite songs that have not won the eurovision, and we might include them in another video.

Great video and amazing choices from all the years. I can see we have similar taste in music so i enjoyed it very much. Thank you! But how could you not include Antique - Die for you (Greece 2001) which was arguably way better than the winner. And i still didn't get over the fact Cyprus 2018 has lost to that ridiuolous chicken feminist song :)

Antique was on our long list, but we left it out along with many other good songs as the video got too large. Nevertheless, we have now published a follow up video as "part 2".. Thanks again!

I agree with a lot of these. You completely nailed 2012.
The turkish entry of 1989 is still a evergreen in Turkey. By the way the female background singer became a popular popstar of the 90s herself. Kayahan is known as one of the best singwriters of Turkey. He has died in 2015.

Die for you 2001, perhaps Greece best entry in Eurovision ever
To be honest, in 2014 (which was my first time watching the whole Eurovision show) I was upset that Sweden didn't win. Not gonna lie, I still like this song, even if I listen (almost) only to heavy metal.
How about Nox Forogj, Világ! ? That's one of the best songs that has ever appeared on Eurovision, showcasing Hungarian folk music and dancing and also the winner that year was a particularly poor choice.
