Hawaii Snorkeling - Hanauma Bay State Park - Oahu Hawaii - Aug 2022

A visit to Hanauma Bay State Park in Oahu, Hawaii in early August 2022.
Formed within a volcanic cone, today Hanauma Bay offers a pristine marine ecosystem after the City and County of Honolulu laid out a plan in 1990 to restore the bay, after years of use from the millions of visitors who visit and love to snorkel Hanauma Bay. Voted Best Beach in the United States in 2016, volunteers have a booth located on the beach level to help visitors learn about conservation of the reef and the types of fish that live there.

I visited that place when I was 11 or 12 with my family and snorkeled it, I was blown away by the abundance of ocean life I seen, you should check out Pearl Harbor while you’re there, Oahu is a Beautiful Place!!!

It was our first time to Oahu and we snorkeled and hiked all over the island. I didn’t get to see Pearl Harbor but I really wanted to see it. Beautiful place!!

We reserved at a booth when we got there and they gave us a time to enter the park. I was a great day!
