I couldn't go full beans in the video because the car has problems with boost cut at the moment(specifically under full throttle or hitting redline)

@@7771ham Yes I do miss it, I definitely had plans for it but sometimes the tides of life change and you have to learn to ride the new tides! Grateful I was able to get a new GR86 after though an very blessed to have this car and have a new journey and car experience!
@@fabigr yah I agree with you there bro! 💪🏽 I’m about to get an mr2 with a 2GR v6 swap In it for 19k out in Virginia this up coming weekend. So I’m exited for that. ik these cars can be dangerous. Did you ever experience anything crazy with your 2?
@@7771ham Yes the reason I lost it was snap oversteer, accidentally though. My MR2 was a 92 so I didn't have LSD and to make things worse it was one of the worst rain seasons in the past couple years and I was on balding R888Rs, hit a bump with a puddle of water in in exiting a corner and you can already imagine how that went, only was going 40 and was able to take out a light pole. I'm still here though!
Why boost cut at 80% throttle?
This was before I had a fuel cut defender in this car, the MR2 has a tendency to fuel cut when it over boost, and it was around 12 psi, after the Fuel cut defender I was able to 100% throttle around 14psi. Thanks for watching!
