  • Erase Fear Now
There’s nothing worse than feeling fear over golf shot this also includes hesitation and self doubt. Many golfers struggle with trying to figure out how to feel more confident and play consistent golf and more positive golf. Playing it on the golf seems impossible when you are feeling fear or self doubt.
When you feel fear or self doubt this translates into a poor golf swing that loses power distance and consistency. Every golfer I know wants to play consistent golf. Every golfer I know once to play fearless golf. Golf consistency and golf confidence are huge factors for better play and fear and self doubt will sabotage them every time
The real question is how does a golfer maintain their level of confidence during an entire round and approach the first tee with confidence.. Most golfers look for a lot of tips and psychology to help them do this but it rarely gives them satisfaction. Golf confidence is equally important and related to swing confidence which creates trust. When you realize that golf confidence is not about results although they can help influence golf confidence it is about the feeling of confidence that comes from within and is not affected by results. Creating golf confidence is much easier than most golfers realize when approached from the proper perspective. Wired to Win is a program that does exactly that. It helps you trigger golf confidence and trust over any golf shot during a round and you can do it over and over again. This creates new feelings which elevate your game. Go here to get the first two sessions of Wired to Win for free and you will see exactly what I mean and your tension will start to decrease bringing your golf swing rhythm back:

For whatever reason I am never fearful and am always playing good, or atleast decent unless I am playing competitively, high school match, tournament etc. for whatever reason it has been really hard to get over my nerves. I will try this tho and hopefully it can do some good things for me

His program really works. Saw results nearly immediately. However after about 60 days it really has gotten itself soaked deep into my brain and my swing. Best investment I made in golf.

I know this comment is from 8 years ago, however, if you still play go watch "Understanding process vs. outcome" by the channel "Scratch at 50" on youtube. It's a great video about what your mental approach should be throughout the round. Very insightful.

Looking forward to trying this! I've been struggling with my mental game as of late. I get tense when I play with other people and my game gets worse than I know I'm capable of. I can easily shoot 70's when I play with the same people over and over, or by myself, but when I play with different people (better or worse than me), I get all nervous and tense. Hopefully I can apply this technique to allow me to reach my full potential regardless of who I'm playing with! Thanks David!

that is a good way to reshape thinking. im a bit of a hack only play a few times a year. im playing with a fried who golfs regular for work and ive been invited to play, needed a fourth, big course egad. yet I know I can hit a good shot now and then and am learning more every time I play...so im excited about this opportunity to play a big course, challenging and fun. end of year golf. thanks.

Dave, you've made me the golfer I wanted to be. Played a round yesterday, Didn't have any shit shots, and even the not so great ones were not bad at all. Yes, the fear is transforming into excitement.
So relaxed at set up now. It's bizarre. But I just follow your Wired to Win principles.
    Imprinting amazing shots now.
    Thank you Dave!
What I have noticed is the incredible amount of negative self-talk I hear the golfers using.

Why do I nearly always mess up on the last three holes

    • @DavidBreslow

Impossible to answer that in this type of forum Samuel.

    • @DavidBreslow

@Hobbyist that may or may not be true. Either way--that is not a solution to his question.

    • @DavidBreslow
      @DavidBreslow  5 років тому

@Hobbyist He posed the question---so assume he was looking for an answer. Was just an observation based on my years experience with golfers looking for "answers" . All the best to you.

It’s the fear of playing poorly in front of someone you just met, maybe you’re playing with for the first time…looking like an idiot hacker.

So you described your fear but that has nothing to do with what I said in the video
Try the exercises and see what happens
