I'm so glad you're doing this challenge too! You're reaction to picking up a non fiction is so real XD I'm always stressed when I pick one (or a classic lol)
I also put all of my unread books in a TBR jar, excluding any books for year-long reading challenges. It has been fun pulling books and knowing I have to read it. I have already DNF'd two of my pulls and read two. I think it will force me to pick up books I never reach for.
I love this challenge on Emily’s channel and I’m excited to see others do it too! I don’t make UA-cam videos but I’ve been doing a version of this challenge on my TikTok bc I have way too many unread books. 😂
Fun project! I love a bit of bossy randomness in my tbr.Good luck with this project. I look forward to the next one. I have more Joanna Goodman on my shelves. I read that one first too and whooboy. The nurse in it was such a horrible villain!
lol I love love island 😊 don’t apologize for not reading instead of watching! Sometimes we all need some trashy tv 🤪 also love your point on how u need real advice/comfort from people instead of them talking about running expensive companies, like some of us aren’t wanting to do that! And your kids are adorable, made me smile :)
Sometimes trashy tv is just perfect 😂 and yes, I just finished What I Know Now and was a bit disappointed. The concept is neat, but all of the women were not what I will ever be. And thanks 😊 I think they’re pretty cute too!
I like this idea of drawing blindly from a jar for a week. May have to use this idea to help me decide which book to read at the beginning or end of the month since I feel like those times are hard for me to pick which book to choose on my tbr.
It is nice that you were able to read some good book for this video. I'm excited about you doing this series as well. I enjoyed watching Emily Fox's videos when she was doing them. 😄
The look on your face is priceless when you pick a red ticket with your first pick love it 🥰 prayers and blessings for you and your husband and your beautiful children love your Aussie family friend John ❤❤❤stay safe and healthy
I'm so glad I was born where and when I was. I was pregnant at 16 and was lucky to have the support from my family. I'm now 42 and my boy has his own girls.
I did read that book Home for Unwanted Girls, felt like yesterday when I read it, but looking it up I read it in 2021 I gave it 5 stars. Couldn't believe how those nuns acted in the story. Pure evil.
What state do you live in? Looks like you had weather similar to me in Chicago, IL. VERY cold. Your kids are super cute!! I love that they wanted to pick the papers for you!
Glad you liked that book! I gave it to you so long ago! The author is a good storyteller, and the truth in the story was pretty disgusting. What is the other Joanna Goodman book I gave you? And no, I don’t want any books back! Pay them forward if you don’t want to keep them😊
Personally I'd just count what you draw even if you're already reading it for your tbr and if it means you end up reading two for these vlogs on occasion, all the better.

Oh my goodness, hello!! Thank you for the inspiration 😊 yeah I think non-fiction or classics could elicit that reaction from me anyday 🤣
What a lucky first pick!! I feel like that is a good omen for your reading year. I can't wait to see more of the jar bossing your TBR.
I was sooo lucky! I hope the good books continue 😊

Amazing job!!

It's such a fun way to pick books!
Loved this video and concept! Such a fun series to look forward to each month!!
Thanks! I'm actually looking forward to making these every month, which I didn't think I'd be saying!

My mom lent me one other Joanna Goodman and I'm excited to get to it now. Such powerful storytelling!
I love this idea! I’m a mood reader who has a hard time picking. Maybe I need to do this with all of my books.
I would highly recommend! And if it’s not the right book for you at that moment, put it down and pick another one!
No! Definitely count the first pick. You will feel a sense of accomplishment!
You’re right! I will 😊

I really liked this video! Hoping to see more of these!! How fun! PS you looked adorable in the stocking hat! It’s been cold in Kansas too!
Thanks! Planning to do one a month for sure 😊
I love the concept of read it or not!
Thank you! I can’t take credit, but it’s very fun!
Love that your first book was one you were already reading.
Seriously, what were the odds?! 😂

It was so nice to take away all indecisiveness! Highly recommend. 😊

Yes! Her videos are some of my favorites to watch 😊
This was so much fun! Cannot wait for February!
😊 thanks, Molly!

Non fiction is obviously not my favorite! 😂
@@BekahBooksandBujo 😂😂😂😂
I had to do a double take when you were watching my sprints! Thanks for tuning in! We should sprint together sometime!!
Yes! Let's do it.
I'm so glad I was born where and when I was. I was pregnant at 16 and was lucky to have the support from my family. I'm now 42 and my boy has his own girls.
Definitely! Things have changed a lot. I think for the better 😊
That book was amazing when I read it😊
Yes! Such a great, heart-breaking story.
I binged Love Island Australia too!
Glad I'm not the only one! 😂
The doggy is so cute
Thanks 😊🐶

Pure evil.
I know… horrible. I’m glad we both loved it!
What state do you live in? Looks like you had weather similar to me in Chicago, IL. VERY cold. Your kids are super cute!! I love that they wanted to pick the papers for you!
We're in Minnesota! Thanks, I think they're pretty cute too 😊

The other one is The Forgotten Daughter.
I'm reading a Maggie O'Farrell roght now, it's pretty good. I am, I am, I am her memoir
I've wanted to read that one!
I have those socks :-)
Nice! 😊
Maggie O’Farrell-is that a new release? It sounds better to me than her hyped books. The Home for Unwanted Girls sounds so very sad.
It came out in 2016!
Personally I'd just count what you draw even if you're already reading it for your tbr and if it means you end up reading two for these vlogs on occasion, all the better.
Yeah I think many others agree with you! I’ll count it 😊
