I carefully watched both parts of this, and enjoyed every moment of it! So, thank you very much for it, and i'll be using AP regularly from now on, surely.
I'll just add a suggestion to it, perhaps for a "Part 3" video: almost everything shown here was based on flight planning, prior to departure. Maybe you could show us to input (or add/change) a waypoint/destination in mid-air. I believe the G1000 has something like a nearest airport list, right? That would be fun!

Nice video. Getting back into FS after nearly 10 years away. The reason the aircraft veered off the runways is because with the AP still On it go stupid and tries to follow the guide signal that's transmitted from the left of the runway near the touchdown lines. I know FS-X actually would render the ILS shed.

Exciting flight through the mountains and beautiful sunset over southern Utah. Things went south on my nighttime approach at LAS. Maybe I missed it in the vid, but don't you have to program a Nav radio to the ILS frequency? It's currently how I do it, but just wondering if I may learn something new. Great video BTW. I was very interested in seeing what actually happens when the AP actually puts you on the ground as I usually do the same floating procedure you used. I especially enjoy doing this at night with almost zero visibility. Such a great feeling when all is black then the runway lights magically appear. Great stuff.

@@Huddison Thsnk you for the quick response. I will try it when I am at home. In your video you just pressed the flc mode knob to get the value zero. When I push the flc knob it only activate it in the autopilot display. So I will try it with your suggestion.

Hello, first of all, I want to wish you a very nice and healthy 2024.
This morning I have tried your suggestion for my flc question. And it worked fine, so I am very happy. Thanks a lot😊

For the life of me I cannot get to work properly following your video. I also don’t have many of the landmarks you have. What am I missing.

I have the Orbx London Landmarks pack installed, but that really shouldn't make a difference to these procedures.
Things have changed a bit with the G1000 & the Sim in general; see this later video for a more updated ILS approach tutorial: ua-cam.com/video/fQtAVEN7gwk/v-deo.html
