Those were the days of audio cassettes and my comfort zone was her veena recitals, listening for hours and getting transported to a divine sphere; such were her soulful heartfelt renditions. Very rare to see veena players it need practice for many years for perfection. We should encourage Indians youth to learn classical instruments it preserve our generation. The fusion performance was very nice.
@@0arjun077 I first heard Indian classical music on TV when I was in school. It was in Leningrad in the 1970s. Then Ravi Shankar came. I felt that it was great, but I realized that I didn't understand. It was too fast for me. Now I understand and feel Indian music. I think there's modern music here. I have developed a physical training program based on Navy SEAL’s Workout (UA-cam). But I like to train in the style of Kushti. For example, my Indian set: 1) Dand-Bethak 5 or 10; 2) Dand 10 or 15; 3) Bethak 20 or 25; 4) Half-Moon Push-Ups 10 or 15; 5) Hanuman Bethak 20 or 30. With timer: intervals load/pause 40/20 sec. Kushti methods are 2500 years old or more, but they did not think of the circuit method. The duration of a highly intensive circuit workout is 20-30 minutes.
