It's not exactly that easy ^^; you will quickly get exhausted. Time management is incredibly important because you won't be able to last an all-nighter, especially not every day.
I'm 15 and you're helping so so much with your channel. Seriously. I come from a very poverty family and will have to pay my way for school things and other stuff as well as help with bills. You're helping me so much. You have no idea how much you've taught me, thank you thank you.
LOVE this!! Great job! Advice: Search around! If you don't want a certain job keep looking and ask around. I've been babysitting for 6 years and have never had your "typical" high school job. I get to make my own hours and love what I do! I love working!!
I wish I had motivational & informative adults like you in my school teaching us. None of them prepared us for any of this. It really should be an mandatory class to every American High-school. They can’t just throw a goldfish into the sea and expect it to survive because it’s an adult fish. It’s a hard knock life for us.
Honestly at this point of life paying for college and universities is not totally pointless but in certain ways yes, rarely few of the people that graduate with masters and bachelors have the jobs they always wanted
David Paz, hopefully your first interview was good. This video on my channel will help you find out more jobs for your age. 55 Jobs For 14-18 Year Olds. Good luck!
I’m actually 20 and a college freshman student but I havent been able to start looking for a job because of Covid and I had to get my college on track. But my mother allows me to get a job now, I know it’s late but it’s like I’ve been working for years. I’m excited to get a job but I don’t know the first thing, so this video taught me great things. Thank you!
I showed this to my class today- They said that they learned that when at work they don't ever need to have their phone out and work enough to gain experience, but not over work yourself to where your grades begin to lack.
Also, if they ask math questions, it might be "What is 30+70+20" and "If a pizza is 6 dollars, along with 6% tax, how much will it cost", I said "I don't know" but I went home and figured it out
I'm 16 and I'm about to start my first job... In fact I got 2 jobs and that I'm starting 1 full time and the other part time. My hours are 7am-12am so it's about a 17 hour work day cant wait to start. All if my money is going towards buying a house that I'll flip in hopes if making around 20k so I'll repeat the process. When I finish wirj I'll be so tired so ima have someone else drive me... I'm also working in graduating early cuz my grades were A+ in every class so wish me luck
I'm 15 and I really want a job because I want to earn my own money to buy my own stuff and my mom is struggling financially, so I want to help her. I talked about it to a few family members of mine but they tell me I should enjoy being a teenager and wait a little longer for the responsibilities that come with a job. Does anyone have any advice? Update: After a lot of thinking I decided to get a job, so I applied to one, got an interview, and I got the job! I've been working there for over a month and I do not regret making this decision 😊thank you to the people that encouraged me to do this, it was a good idea. If anyone is in a situation like me (my first comment), I suggest that you should get a job because it makes a big difference (in a good way), and I wish you good luck to finding/getting one
Hey AO!!! I ma not sure if you still check on this video...I coach high school students (special education) and we reviewed your video with Miss Leah and she shred so many great things with our high schoolers!! Although we can't go out to our job training sites we are meeting on Zoom and talking about all you've shared. Life after high school, right?? I personally loved the manager's perspective and his honesty. I learned too...it's okay if you say: "I don't know". That was HUGE!!! Thanks!!!
Saving Money is the first thing you need to learn and do when you're at your young age. Personally, I wasn't able to save money when I was at my young age NOT because I spent most of them to any nonsense things or entertainment things because I really hate doing those things. But I can only get the right amount of money to spend and I regretted the fact that I wasted all those days, instead of making some plans, I sticked to my common routine of spending money. So save Money folks, its hard to make and earn Money nowadays so when you get a few bucks or cents, think first. ALWAYS Think First.
I started work recently at age 16 and they have me working 8 hour shifts every day 8-4 24 hours in 3 days im in so much pain all day everyday and my manager is really sketchy she didn't tell me anything about my hours or about training no one trained me and they get mad when i ask for help i think im going to quit because there so rude and get really pissy all day im the only one doing cleaning cashier and window and also helping with the fryers. 😭😭😭
I did my interview today at publix , it inget the job it would be my second . What does it means , when he say you did great today ,I want you to work at the deli but I'm going to call you back for a second interview? Do I have a job? Or should I keep looking for a different job?
Well I’m looking for a job during this upcoming school year or even during summer. Anyways this video was a lot of help on like the interview part and things that I should know when getting a job. I’m guessing I need sum kind of debit or credit card right. I feel dumb for the question but I’m not sure if I need one. Btw I’m 15💀
I am 14 right now and turning 15 this year. Where I am from, the legal age for a job is 16. I will be turning 16 next year September and I really want a job right when I turn the legal age. But I also want to get a job in the summer so I can prepare and settle myself before the upcoming school year. So I am just torn between the two.
I need to know that you know Millennials are approaching 40 and not high school kids. You do know that, right? Words mean things. Are they supposed to be honest and tell you their parents are making them look for a job or lie about how much they want to work for you? Pick a lane.
i start my first job tomorrow, and i’m binge watching your videos to help calm my nerves :)
I hope it went well
Can we get an update on how it went for you?
I’m really nervous about getting a job. Seriously :c
sarah brown omgggg same

The manager seems like a really straight forward and well thought man.
i would never let my grades lack if i worked. I'd just end up pulling all nighters whenever i need to do something
Euroccu yea me too
to find a job, look at sites like RESUME ROBIN Resume Distribution, really helped me

Kids are lucky to work inside in a climate-controlled restaurant. My first jobs were agricultural labor for much less than minimum wage.
My first job was at a car wash in Chicago in December....
Those were some dark times
Start my first job tomorrow, nervous but excited
lol imagine disliking a video , of a young woman making a future for herself
15 people disliked 🤦🏽♂️

I've watched about 3 of your videos and so far i've learned a lot. Thank you.
LOVE this!! Great job!

Actually the reason you can't throw a goldfish into the sea and expect it to survive is because it's a freshwater fish.
@@imshinycaptain Yeah, I know. The adult fish references how they teach us all the same things as if we all don't require & desire different things
