Geez - your critics are quite severe and exacting ;-). A beautiful car, obviously. At first glance, I assumed this was being shot in England - in the 'Southland' , home of landed aristocracy. However, apparently you are in the US - in a very posh area - Greenwich, CT possibly? It would be nice if you provided some contact info - if the car is in fact for sale.
The car is not an “S1 salon S”. It is an “S Series” as clearly stated on the cover of the handbook and in the factory brochure. It was delivered in June of 1958 to Appenzeller, and finished in Sage Green over Smoke Green. This car has incorrect paint demarcation and fine lining. Additionally, double fine lines did not appear until late 1972 on the Silver Shadow. The grab handle on the facia capping rail is facing the wrong direction. It is not “hydraulic injection system” - it is centralised chassis lubrication. The pedal should be depressed “two strokes every 200 miles” as indicated on page 25 of the handbook. The pleating on the upholstery is not full and properly crowned, the general workmanship is poor, and it has not been finished in correct Vaumol hide. The rear ashtrays and picnic tables need to be swapped as the deeper portion of their handles ajqats faces the centre of the car. Again, look in the handbook or the factory brochure. If sagging a headliner and vanity mirrors with disintegrate silvering are part of “ restoration” to you, then you clearly have no understanding of the term. You state that “the trunk compartment is show quality” yet the Hardura is clearly disintegrated on the right hand boot floor. You also state the the engine compartment is shoe quality, yet incorrect screws are used on the brake fluid containers, and one is missing from the front container altogether. Your lack of attention to detail is glaring.
I am partial to vintage Bentleys but this one is the most beautiful I have seen.
Wonderfull, one of best of all times
I used to own a black over silver 1958S. Serial number B549SD. Wish i still owned it . Had it for 15 years
Gorgeous car,

The paint demarcation is way better like this compared to the original
I will do the same with my car one day

Just for your info, it’s just an S1, not an S.
Actually, as the handbook and brochure clearly state, it’s an “S Series”. It was followed by the S2 and later by the S3.
@@JSDesign.Hongkong CORRECT! It's an "S" Series.
Seems to be missing the inspection light which should be housed in the left side compartment by the jack.
