Looks like Kev could've used some stress guard for himself after that move!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
For real!!! 🤣🤣
@@KaveManAquatics 😂
That was funny 😂
Exactly what I was thinking. I would need a rehab to get off the stuff.
Wow!!! Great job. I can’t even imagine how exhausting that task was. But.. you did it! Great job, I’m really enjoying your content!
Thanks so much! 😊 Part 2 next week will show even more work than this was! Don't miss it 😊
Your new room looks great! Can't wait to see what you do with it!
Thank you!! Part 2 will show a 90% completed room! Waiting on my new tank upgrade thats being built right now. 😊
About to aquire myself a biggo tank from a friend. Your videos have helped tremendously. Thanks for your time and energy. Stay frosty
Glad to hear it bro, congrats on that bigger tank! 💪
Congratulations on the move, one day I’ll be able to do the same.
Thank you! 😊
Soooo looking feward to part 2. Phenomenal work man. Well done 👏
Thank you bro!! 😊💪
Common kev I’ve got me sat waiting for part 2
🤣 Sorry bro, was working on this shorter version till 5am last night. Give me 1 more week for another good-quality video, you wont be disappointed 😊
Best fish keeping channel on the Internet :)
Thank you my bro!! 😁💪
Yo Kev... That fish room is going to be 🔥🔥🔥!!!
I agree! 🤣 Thank you bro!
How far was your move? Sorry if I missed it... I'm planning to move 30hrs away... Any advice or tips you can give me to get my fish there alive and less stressed?
I would bag and ship them to yourself. They will arrive overnight so have your setup ready for them as soon as you get there. My move was only 2 minutes away
By the way congratulations Kev
Thank you bro!!
So does that mean that you will now have 3 giant tanks total ?? 😮
Yes Sirr! 😊💪
@@KaveManAquatics 💯💯 boils down to….. what will be inside it Kev!!?? 😬😬
😊😊😊
The reason i love kavemanaquatics. Is really shows the dirty side of this hobby, the sweat, the dark side, the hard moments. No other youtubers shows that. Yes this hobby is hard. Not everything is perfect.
Amen brother!! You got that right!!
@@KaveManAquatics Your reply says it ALL-Period
Real stuff! #Salute
hey Kev, if you ever run into that problem again in the future you need “shock” to easily separate the tank from the stand. have someone push on the front of the tank while you hit THE STAND with a rubber mallet from the opposite side. literally one good smack and it’s free lol.
and congrats 🎉 on the new room, it’s gorgeous!!
Man great move when your fish jumped out
I jumped out also 😂😂😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣
I was feeling for you my brother. That was some back-breaking work. Congrats on the new home, the renovations look awesome. I’m sure the fish room is 💯🔥.
Thank you bro! Wait till you see the back breaking from part 2! 🤣
Damn I should have selected the long video on the poll! 😆
Congratulations bro on the new place.
bruh! 🤣 I dont even know why I asked, it was an impossible task! Up till 5am last night for this shorter version. But I think it was the best route for 2 better quality videos!
I’m glad it was you and not me 😂
I hear that!! 🤣
Probably refreshed your page a dozen times for this video 😂 thank you for your hard work and dedication, true role model for us all.
My pleasure! Hope you enjoyed it and thanks for being patient with me 😊
ABSOLUTELY!
Great video. Great channel. Really informative. I know at some point im going to have to move my tanks. It’s something im not looking forward to. Keep up the fantastic work
Thank you, will do!
Kev... Should have used some wd40 🤣🤣🤣🤣Jk Jk Jk..... You are absolutely right... Take a full day especially if you got big money fish.... Good stuff brother
My boy suggested that but I didnt want to hear it! 🤣 Just wanted that thing out!!!!
I literally gasped at the same exact time as your wife when Flaco jumped out 😂
I internally gasped myself 🤣🤣
Its me FISH GUY RANCH
I really love that your addressing to make a specific day dedicated exclusively for moving the tanks.
It's so important to stay focused while doing this and only this! 😊
lol i thought my 16 gallon is a lot of work, you're him
edit: holy shit that new fish room looks pristine
Thank you bro! 😊💪
My back was sore after watching this video. You’re inspiring, Bro!
Mine too, for the second time around 🤣 Thank you bro!
Very helpful information bro, very soon i am doing same.
Thanks bro, glad you enjoyed it!
I can't wait for part 2 man hell yeah
Thanks bro! Should be ready for ya next week! 😁
I can't wait to see the progress and the new additions of the fishkave, I know it's going to be big, we love watching your channel brother 😁 and thanks to all your advice my 80 g cichlid tank is going so excellent 👍🏼
Thanks so much bro, glad to hear your tank is doing well! And yes, it will a big new addition! 😁
i'm sorry buddy..
But seeing you struggle made my day :P
Good to see you got there in the end...
can't wait to see the second video mate..
Shoutouts from Australia.. & LETZ GO! :D
Why won't you look at me Kevin?😆
🤣🤣
12:56 As someone who had to move a 40g and 75g tank from their stands I can relate. I'm always scared of breaking the stand or glass.😅
Thank you. Bless you and everyone else who hears "It's JUST a fish" and still continues to do their very best for their fish. This was a great video. Can't wait for part 2!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it! 😊
Congrats on your new place!
Thank you bro! 😊
Congrats my brother you really deserve it
Thank you my bro! 😊
Phenomenal Kev. My gosh I'm very grateful to be a part of the Kaveman Family. Moving up from 55 to 125 next week myself...
Thank you my bro! Congrats on that new monster tank! Once you go 6 feet you're a lifer! 😊
Kev, how many hours do you give your tanks, I have timers on 3 tanks for 3hrs, should I increase and what's the ups and downs of light increase times.
No more than 8 hours, but usually always less.
Thanks again I'm going to try 5hrs, a day.
Unless you’re trying to grow plants or algae, I always thought it never be too little.
This is very exciting! Congrats on the new place! 🎉
Thank you!! 😊
Wow...definitely a day to remember for sure! What a job that was! Your fish room is absolutely amazing! You thought of everything. Can't wait to see part 2. Love your fish room congratulations! You deserve it Kev! Thank you for all you do! You are much appreciated! 😊 ❤❤❤
Thank you so much Lori! And I always appreciate your support!!
😊❤❤❤
Aye! Is this Long Island? Houses look real familiar. Shout out from Massapequa!
In future small pry bar or large flat head screw driver at bottom corners pop them right free
Have to keep that in mind! Thank you bro!
I'm very new to this hobby, been watching your videos for the last week and have a 80l and a 37l tank and am having to move house on short notice in a few days, both my aquarium's are new, the gravel and filters are already cycled from their previous owners so I'm going to keep the media and gravel in the old tank water so I don't loose much of the beneficial bacteria on them 🤞, I'm gonna keep the water I have in them now to minimise stress, my 80l is a coldwater tank so hopefully that will be abit easier to move my 37l is a tropical tank, luckily I am only moving to a town 30 minutes away so hopefully if I move my tropical fish in the tank water and keep the tank water the temps won't drop too much if I set the tank up as soon as I get to the new house, so yea not too far away so I'm thinking all will go well 🤞
I truly enjoyed this video, and I am looking forward to part 2! Hard work moving, but it will be worth it at the end. Did you ever find out how that tank got stuck?
Nope! And funny thing is, the heavier 210 gallon tank wasnt stuck at all!! Must be something to do with being by the window and getting more direct heat from the sun that possibly caused the paint from back panel to spread and stick 🤔 Glad you enjoyed the video! Next weeks will be even better!
Yay
It always happens to me how after I set a tank up and get it running for about 6 months i then realize it would look much better in a different room I'm planning on moving my mbuna tank very soon 🤣🤣🤣
Great video ! Great move !!
Thank you bro! 😊
Heartiest Congratulations ❤️
Thank you!! 😊
I was watching this from home in my bed and even then I could still feel my stress levels rising.
First kev from 🇵🇭
Nice! 😊
I just PCS to a new duty station and let me tell you I the last crap I moved was my tank and my fish I painted my house I was renting. It sure was a pain much love and support good job! And great advise as always!
Then you understand the struggle! lol Thanks for your service bro! 💪
Scary shit Hope it goes well m8
Thank you bro, Thankfully all went well, dont miss part 2 this weekend! 😊
@@KaveManAquatics oh good kev thank god m8
I completely understand how much it was stressful but you was calm 👍
Good job bro 🤝
For the tank problem I think you can use fishing wire .
Thanks for that tip! I'll keep in mind for the next time 😊
Looking FABULOUS Kave. POIGNANT information deftly displayed, directed, and disseminated.
Thank you sir! Always happy to hear that you enjoyed a video! 😊💪
You're blowing up young man..love the content..Congratulations on the move Kev. Everything looks good..props..keep up the fantastic work😎
Thank you sir! Appreciate the support! 😊💪
Congrats on the new place 👏 what size tanks were they ?I've got a 7ftx2x2 coming really worrying about moving it into my house ,peace from England 🇬🇧
Thank you bro, These are 210 and 150 gallons 😊
Congratulations Kev !!!
I look forward to seeing your journey with your new fish room. You have been a Big inspiration to me in my journey as well.
Awesome! Thank you! 😊💪
Number one fan here🎉 love your channel!!! You inspire me and BC of you. My fish are healthier than my momma
lol Thanks but I hope your mom is very healthy too! 😊
Hey Kev. Great info. Since you use a lot of SEA CHEM products, what do you think of their “Tidal” Power filters for 30-50 gallon aquariums? Quite the jumping fish - prob the last thing that you wanted.
Tidals are the best HOB's on the market...but thats just my humble opinion. Check out this video I made on it - ua-cam.com/video/fgug3v6DtJs/v-deo.html
Awesome video. Very informative. Just bought a house. Will be following all of your steps.
Thank you brother ZMAN! Congrats on your new house! 😁💪
Wow strong guys. God BLESS THE MARINE A VETERAN MYSELF 🇺🇸🙏😎
Thank you for your service Sir! 💪
Such a great video! 👍Appreciate how you share everything the fish keeping hobby entails...thank you:)
My pleasure! Glad you're finding the channel helpful 😁
😂😂😂 I just mad that mistake this past weekend .
Kev, have you been cyberbullied or trolled recently? If so, I send my sympathy.
Thank you bro, it comes with the territory 😊
Hi Kev, I just wanna know where did get you background rocks? Do you have a link? I enjoyed all videos. Great infos. Thanks

What do you make of IFG's video regarding the handling of your 1st Ray?
Happy to have the free publicity! I’ve had a boost in subscribers lately! 😁
painfull task... good job :D
great job kev i know there has been some controversy (IFG) about your tips with Seachem products. But we all know that you have helped out in many hobbyists including me thank you again, again this hobby is about personal experience and in my experience your tips are great
Thank you bro, haven’t bothered to watch , but happy to see I’ve reached the level for where the haters make videos about me 🤣
Good to see you back brother. I have to move a 75 into the kitchen next year just to replace carpeting. Not looking forward to it.... And this video demonstrate why! Great prep work on your part. Keep killing man, we love the vids!
Thank you bro, glad you enjoyed it! Good luck with your tank move! 😊
Glad to see full video’s again. That was some crazy organized chaos. Fingers crossed.
Sure was, lol Glad you enjoyed it!
Just awesome. That is a really beautiful room.
Thank you bro! 😊
Hi Kev, we have a continuing aggravation problem with our 35 gallon tank which we have had for at least 12 years. First problem is white cloudy water which has improved some over the last three months. The bigger problem is brownish algae on the glass, one the plants and on the decorative pieces in the tank. We are doing more frequent water changes and last weekend we cleaned the filter and the glass and today already we have the algae appearing on the glass and decorative items and even the wave makers. That’s just in four days after cleaning.
HELP !!!!!
After 12 years you're now having these problems?? Somethings off. You may possibly have a dead fish somewhere causing an ammonia spike which is causing your bacterial bloom. Your algae issue could be due to over feeding or over lighting!
First, I suggest you watch this video to understand more about bacterial blooms and why they happen - ua-cam.com/video/46fcHvoellI/v-deo.html
Second, My book on getting crystal clear water can definitely help! 😁 It's short, to the point, and covers all the causes and solutions for cloudy water. Comes in eBook and Paperback. I promise you won't be disappointed! Check it out here - bit.ly/clearH2O
Just buy all new and save the years of anxiety and ptsd. It's worse than moving an apartment full of couches, on the third floor, without a lift.
Edit: I couldn't even watch the whole way through as it reminded me of moving my hoarder self, many, many times.....
🤣🤣 I wish I had money like you
Rubber hammer lightly against bottom frame working your way around, happened to me.
Great tip! 💪
One thing you didn't think about is heat. You could've used a blow dryer to warm up the metal and plastic as well as the adhesives. Works everytime. 👍🏾
You're absolutely right, but in the heat of the moment, fish in buckets, camera rolling, sweat dripping...mind gets fogged bro.
Where did you get those plastic rock formations for your 75 Cichlid tank?
Theyre cold cichlid stones. You can find them in my shop 😊 koji.to/kaveman_aquatics
Praise God for the help. My number one point of anxiety. I could get used 200+ tanks but getting them up two fights of stairs is a daunting task.
oh boy, 2 flights? Thats rough!! Good luck if you ever have to move them!
Beautiful! That tank was a struggle and y’all kept your cool I thought I’d see something get chucked across the room lol.
🤣🤣 And part 2 was even more of a struggle!! 💪
Man this process looks like a nightmare. lol Glad everything went ok.
And you've only seen half of it, lol Thank you!
Did that. Lol 🤣 never again
You could just bag your filter media and treat it just like a fish... Your bacteria won't die if you give it the same treatment you are giving your fish
Very True!
Great video! My dream fish are discus, any tips on where to get them, and care for them? thanks! :)
Well first checkout my Discus playlist and then checkout @thefishhutofnewjersey 😊
That room looks insane chief wow! I can’t wait to see it setup. Good luck and happy reefing lol
Thank you bro! 😊💪
I learned this my first move with tanks and it was hectic moving 6 tanks but it all worked dead perfect so happy my tanks were all on sponge filters to begin with so I just drilled a hole in each bucket lid and ran every bucket off the filters I was using so I never lost a single fish never lost cycle
Great way to ensure they all had plenty of oxygen in the buckets! 💪
Some serious muscle and mental strength at work.....well done.
Thank you! 😊
Love your tanks and your knowledge, When are going to setup a tanganika tank? Or why haven't you?
Always a possibility! 😊
My seachem alert meters aren’t working what should I do
What makes you say they arent working? Do you know that will only alert you of free ammonia and not total ammonia? Have you seen this - ua-cam.com/video/yoSm3VFIvxQ/v-deo.html
You may have answered this before but what lighting do you use for those tanks? Happy to see that the move was so successful!
I use Current USA lights, love their setup! You can find all the products and equipment I use and recommend in my affiliate shop 😁 - koji.to/kaveman_aquatics
Awesome can't wait to see the new fish room setup ❤👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you! 😊
I would be freaking out rocking that big tank back and forth like that. And I’m digging the sink in the new fish room, like you said “all fish rooms should have a sink”. I would love to get another monster tank goin for my African Cichlids, unfortunately I don’t have the room for another six foot tank😢
I got so frustrated I was like, "if it dies, it dies" lol Glad you enjoyed the video bro. I'm sure you can find a way for that new tank! 😊💪
Nice video my friend, looking forward for part dos ✌️
Thanks bro! 😁
Yo K Man that's a lot of work ! Congrats on the new room / house. Always nerve racking moving tanks...
It is bro, and you havent even seen it all yet! Wait for part 2 next week! 😊
That new fish room is super nice, god bless and enjoy your new home
Thank you bro! 😊
Damn thought mans wife booted him out, told him “take them fuckin tanks with ya”
🤣🤣🤣
That's some workout man 😅 ... rip ur back
and arms, thighs and knees 🤣
Same thing happen to me with my aqueon tank and stand ,I used wd 40 and used thin pain spackle knife and popped off
Funny this is an Aqueon too. Have to keep that Wd-40 on hand!
Dunno about the fish, I think their dad was super stressed after that wild jump
Definitely! lol
8:11 I’m currently in tears laughing 😂😂
😁🤣🤣
in a aquarium where the cycle has been interrupted / crashed i have started again with prime and stable, should i keep using prime with stable daily until the bacteria takes over or just 1 dose of prime and use stable alone until it cycles?
Continue dosing until your tank has completed the cycle. This video will be helpful - ua-cam.com/video/_Fvl_KOoDPU/v-deo.html
@@KaveManAquatics thank you, your vids have been very helpful.
What if you take the media out of your filters an put it in a bucket with tank water and air or something, would that work?
Absolutely would! You'll still lose some just for disturbing the media, but the majority will survive! 😊
