Happened to us here at Flea Assassin. People love our flea control products and have bought from us and then listed our items on their store.
One time I bought a pallet of return electronics from a major electronic store. I sold a Sony Receiver, it didn't work and I was selling it as is, a guy ask me some questions about it, and at the end bought it from me. Several weeks later, I saw the same Sony Receiver being sold by the guy that bought it from me, but now it was in working order and at a higher price. I didn't mind at all, as I had made my money, and he will be making some money as well.

I appreciate all the time & effort you spend teaching and letting us observe a day in your life. A pod cast sounds great too! I would like Vicky to talk about how much preparation she does to each item. Such as do you clean each item or sell as is. I spend quite a bit of time cleaning or repairing some of my listings and don’t understand why some people list an item saying it is dirty or needs dusting. Also how many listings can she do in a day.. after preparation, researching what it can be sold for and then taking 10 to 12 photos. And Pete I would be interested in how you got started in this business. Thank You!🌷🌷

Poshmark charges flat 20% of selling price. Buyer always pays flat priority shipping of $6.49 regardless of weight

If I found out someone was selling items they purchased from me for a profit, I would he a little concerned. I would think that maybe I need to pay closer attention to the prices I picked.

yes, you can sell cosmetics on Posh, they take 20% and you don't pay to ship. And there are no returns unless the item is broken or not what to said on the description.

Your worker should understand that is what we all do. We purchase something we can make a profit on. I do understand how the stealing of your photos make her upset. who ever it is is just to lazy to do it themselves.
How could they possibly "do it themselves"? How do you photograph something you don't have?
Poshmark is 20% fee, buyer pays shipping. There are a lot of cosmetics. It would definitely be worth your time. Lots of sharing required though!

I had a reseller buy my Nikon + 3Lenses put each item up for sale on eBay and when he didn't get all sold he returned it 30days later! eBay gave him the refund! Nice

My sister wore a crazy hat to jury duty and it didn't work. She had to serve for two weeks and she wore a different crazy hat every day. When it was over the judge thanked the jurors for their service, then thanked my sister for keeping everyone entertained with her hats.
The jury board has gotten wise to people doing things to get out of jury duty. I have heard so many people claim that if you tell them you are racist they will automatically disqualify you from jury duty. They will just put you on a case with someone of your own race.

I had that same Honda Spree I got 500 for it. This was maybe 8 years ago. I know it was fun to ride. I also had to get it running. It was very easy to fix.

Get a water-based tape dispenser. Reinforced kraft tape works on boxes way better than packing tape. The dispensers and rolls of tape are expensive, but you'll have more secure packages and use less tape per package.

Yes a podcast would be great! Thanks for all the great info! Vicky, you could explain how to list fast! At least for me, that's what slows me down. I list so many different items since they are mostly vintage and not too many similar items have sold. Just a thought.

Hi Pete, cool find on the scooter! I worked at a Honda cycle shop as a mechanic for years and the Spree was a popular model. If your guy cleans the carb and all it’s jets and circuits thoroughly and flushes the tank it should start right up. Also I’m pretty sure that model will run without the battery. Keep up the great videos you have helped me a lot!

Watermark your photos @Craigslist Hunter! To her complaints, dont you buy stuff off craigslist and then sell in your store or ebay? Same stuff your doing, just getting in the middle and making a few bucks - IMO its a win-win since it drives you more sales in the end :)

Your ad that is used to sell the product at 100% more. Should be a complement. Pretty smart they use your ad to Sell your products at a higher price and they keep the difference. The end justifies the means as long as you get paid.
People steal the keys for them you might want to lock the key up. Also I've found just the keys themselves and sold them by themselves for as much as $40 just for the key.
I think the only reason to get upset about people reselling your stuff is to be upset at yourself if you sold something too low.
I couldn't agree more. I don't know why some people get upset about people reselling their stuff for more money. I remember hearing a thrift shop employee saying that once about a person who'd bought a lot of their books - she was indignant that this person might be buying them to resell. Meanwhile her stupid shop gets everything they sell for free from donations.

She has a point. I bid on a Ebay item. Went to another searching for other things and wham the item I was bidding on was on this other site and 2 people were on it. I am like what the heck is going on here. I went back sent the person a message and told them someone took their picture. and some of teir words. I am like waiting and suddenly there's another bid appears on the item I bid on. Well when that happened I said Good I am out of there. It was too freaky for me.

I am in for the podcast. I need another one besides scavenger life. They only do once a week. So I would be very eager to listen to yours. You can talk about how much you made for the week, what sold, customer issues, how many returns and shipping is always good.
Do the podcast! It will probably a little rough until you record a few episodes, they all start like that. Once you get into a groove they will be fantastic. Can't wait to subscribe and listen to you and Vicky in the car or while working. Do it!
I had a guy buy a sony handycam off of me for $30, he left me neg feedback and then put it on ebay for $100...
you should have bought it, gave him negative feedback, then filed for return claiming not as described and sent him a brick with a tracking a number.

I've had nothing but bad experiences on Poshmark, Terrible Sellers that send fragile items in unpadded envelopes, sends the wrong item, lies about shipping, selling broke glass items without mentioning in description and the issues just keep going..

That is not true there are returns because I had a customer get their money back and I had to return the item. (POSHMARK)
I love podcasts and i really really thing there need to be more for the ebay/reselling community. I think you would make a fine show, i already like what you have done with heart picker. I wish you guys would take the audio from your group chat and make that a podcast too.

I check Ebay 2X a day, everyday, for Honda ATC parts. I watch for someone to list something a bit low, or something I can repair by welding, machine work, powder coating etc etc and I double my money. If I can't find anything that I can double my money on, I don't buy anything, I just wait. It's been great for many years now, but things are drying up so it's time to find another niche.... I know they can't resell my items for more money, I'm very careful with prices.
