Whoa! Larry Joe almost lost it there for a second. Got all choked up and emotional. One of the most stoic guys in the galaxy. It goes to show you how much passion he still has for the game and the players.

Larry has cried in public several times. He's pitched fits, been in slap fights, screamed, hollered, and pitched fits. Larry is my favorite player ever. I've got his shirts, posters, DVDs. I love him, but wth is wrong with you young guys? Do none of you have strong men around you? My Grandfather quit school in 3rd grade to work the farms, and worked full time until he was 80. Never complained. I never saw my father cry until my mother died at 60, and he thought he was alone. I feel so bad for yall being raised by weak men.

It is fantastic the NBA got around to bringing the All Star game to Indianapolis and a state that loves the game of basketball so much. The honoring of Reggie Miller and Larry Bird is so good to see, as well.
Larry got the game there by driving an Indy car down to the office. Originally it was 2021 the game was supposed to be played there.

Reggie has this wonderful sincere ability to always be praising others. This is a kind, good man. Yes, I miss him playing and time always catches up with us. But, he is a great ambassador for his sport, and, the more Reggie we get, the better.
Man, I so love Reggie, a NBA player who's humble, so rare, thank you Mr Miller, you're a indeed a legend of the game, and you let people saying it for you, way to go, amen.

Bird took an F in a class in high school rather than get up and talk in front of the class. That is still inside of him. Bird is a private person and humble.

@@Red4350 Only one injured that wasn’t even season ending, again these guys get paid 10s of millions to play the game and the fans pay a lot to see their favorite stars go all out on Allstar weekend, there has literally been no such injuries in the AS games so that just sounds like an excuse to be soft and not actually try.

They failed. Larry played all-out in any and every game, even pre-season. Boston had a big fight with the Sixers in a pre-season game. You would have thought it was Game 5 of a playoff series.

Reggie will always be my favorite Pacer. It's so cool that he recognized Mel Daniels (RIP). He was one of the nicest celebrities I've ever met. Many don't know he was a horse enthusiast/barrel racer and he would compete here in Indiana. Spent many horse shows getting to know him a little. He was a wonderful human!
