0% about the Peanut Butter oil.
100% about the rapeseed.
And now i'm in the part of the peanut butter oil
And that's why it's usually called canola oil... to prevent this kind of childish giggling.
Tf...
I got your rapeseed oil right here. It just came.
People have good names for seeds
Nikola Tesla rapeseed
-some guy that named it
*rapeseed is nice seed*
*_Hmm.... how shall i name this completely innocent seed........RAPEseed!_*
seriously though who came up with that name for it and why?
Fr
The tip about storing peanut butter upside down is a stroke of genius. :D
Rapeseed that sounds so wrong
Bowser33 11
IKR? I cringed when I heard the name
Rapeseed oil is ridiculously common in various foods. The rapeseed was one of the first things to be turned into an oil for use in food. Fun fact
Bowser33 11 feminist be like "THAT SEED WAS TRYING TO RAPE ME!!!"
Ed SkyNight I died of laughter when I heard it
The name comes from Rapum, a plant family that includes turnips and radishes and is related to broccoli and mustard (Brassica). Rapeseed itself is also known as Canola.
I can die in peace
Sebastian Michelis not anymore xD
Ok
Ey Bob, ya mind putting some rapeseed oil in this peanut butter
I just love that rapeseed you know?
Minimann 333 a
You’re all horrible
St00pid yup
xD
Or store it in the fridge so you dont get the oil shit at all
Wouldn't that make it hard and fuck up the bread when you spread it?
it does so I bought some organic peanut oil and I add a little until its spreadable at fridge temp
AG31594 who the hell stores peanut butter in the fridge. Next you'll be saying you store honey in the fridge too.
rust gimme gimme da pussi b0ss
You still get the oil.
I once went to the store and legit found a jar of "all natural" peanut butter that said "No oil pool!"
*Mad suspicion*
How should I feel about the fact there is rapeseed oil?
let alone a rapeseed?
Edit- I searched it up and it turns out the plant grows everywhere around me and I dont know how I should feel about that
Once again I'm watching a video about something I don't actually want to know about but I know I'll be satisfied by the end
XD RAPESEED!!!! 🤣😂😆 I got a feeling I'm not the only one to laugh about it, I haven't seen the comments yet
Rapeseed is the password to my Christian Minecraft server😂😂😂
This channel may be better than Buzzfeed.

Pea"nut" butter ain't the only thing that's oily 😎
Minjun Kim cars run on oil
Minjun Kim dont get rapeseed in your peanut butter.
Minjun Kim lmao
Minjun Kim booiii
i dont know why some of the comments are just so weird af...
Next video should be about explaining the tech behind the rapeseed.
First of all, why tf did they name it the "rapeseed."? Shit sounds so immoral.
Stir and put in refrigerator. Once it's cold it acts just like peanutbutter that has the additives. It's not hard to spread or anything and you can just store it in there.
facts! \o/ love me real peanut butter without the extra BS!
Words can't describe how much I needed this video
I tried storing the jar upside down. The oil did not rise upward. Maybe if you left it upside down for a year or two? The oil can be poured off and used as cooking oil. It adds a very nice flavor.
Upside down does work. And you don't drain off the oil you stir it in. It's part of peanut butter. Crazy people don't know this!!
So you're telling me that I can't just simply shake the jar of peanut butter...
sidtherockjohnson no, that doesn't help.
I legit got a Reeses ad XD
Understandable. Me too
Rapeseed
Im crying here :''')
Stupid anime trash.
:O
*EXCUSE ME?*
:"''''""""""""""""""(
I just use a hand mixer with a dough hook attachment to mix those oils back into the peanut butter.... and making the hard bottom become soft again.
EDIT:
Just remember holding the bottle firmly when using the mixer!!!
cant believe they puttin rapeseed in my peanut butter
0:56 wtf is rapeseed 😂
Canola Oil.
@Simply Maplee that was 2 years ago man 😭
@Simply Maplee ok i didn't know at the time that was 2 years ago
A plant is a sort of thing that is often green and grows with sunlight. They become the veggies you eat! Fun fact.
Why Rapeseed
feminist: omfg my peanut butter just rAPED ME BY BEING DRY
get it
cause
rapeseed
ok bye
Thank you lemon cade, very cool.
Please-😭✋🏻
with a name like rapeseed we are lucky that plant isnt common or else we would hear rapeseed after rapeseed and you kinda get why that is a problem
its actually very common
It grows everywhere in your nearest patch of nature and the side of the road. It's also in every supermarket as slighty different variations of vegetables.
such a good vid, helped me with my hw immensely
The simple, mess free, method to re-mix the oil into the peanut butter before opening is to shake it as you would a can of paint. It may take a few minutes but you get an even mix.
i specifically like almond butter
Dr. anime Excellent choice! That and sunflower seed butter aren't too bad! ☺
I am amazed by this technology. It has changed my life
This just changed my life thank you
I love rapeseed oil
Thank you peanut butter queen, I bought a new all natural peanut butter and opened it to find there was a swimming pool inside and had no idea if I should pour it out or what
me too i got pissed off
I prefer the peanut butter with additives such as rapeseed oil that do not separate. Those additives are themselves actually natural oils, so adding them keeps the peanut butter quite natural. I also like the addition of sugar, which is also natural.
I like to eat peanut butter on burnt toast, the cancer is natural
Thanks for suggesting 🥳
Thanks for sharing info. It really helped me.
Rapeseed?
Wtf Rapeseed?
Thank-you. This was a helpful video🙏🏼
For those who don't know rapeseed oil is literally canola oil. They changed name for obvious marketing reasons
Hold up I heard rape & stopped paying attention...what the fuck is rapeseed?
A relation of broccoli, mustard, radishes and turnips. Also known as canola.
Who cares it tastes good
Tysm for the tip, ima check that out
YES THANK YOU
Rapeseed 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
*We been knew.*
Greg Caesar You? Again? Shit...
Yo this video was worth watching just for the tip at the end, I already knew about why the oil sit at the top.
I transfer half the jar to another jar
Then mix in 1 tsp cinnamon, 6 tsp ground flax, 2 tsp chia seed .
This absorbs the oil, makes it healthier and adds flavor.
Americans pour it!? You should Fucking steer it omfg.
Flippingly Awesome steer lol
You can't spell?! You should fucking take english class omfg.
What brands have the oily stuff at the top?
Jumbo-J1 true
Nick • *MY BRAND!!!*

Rapeseed?!
Nutella is better
Milan Jovanovic DON'T RUIN NUTELLA FOR US
Y'all know you eat this stuff
Nutella+Regular Butter+Peanut Butter
100 percent pure peanut butter is tasty health food. Nutella is very unhealthy.
CapCrumbs The Mighty nothing tastes as good as health feels. But yes, nutella tastes pretty good.
Thank you !!
I never thought of putting the jar upside down. Haha!
If the peanut butter only has Palm Oil as part of it being all-natural it's still going to separate if unused for more than 24 hrs. Hydrogenated Peanut Butter has hydrogenated oils as its stabilizer which prevents the separation from occurring. All Natural Peanut butter with Palm Oil stir it using a butter knife
How much we can add palm oil to the peanut butter I mean the percentage in order not separate the oil from the sold ?
Waiting for your comments
I use the oil that settles to cook sometimes and the food is delicious
Thank you
Thank you so much I live in Ecuador and the only peanut butter is natural and at $1.00 a pound I buy a lot :)
What brand of peanut butter is the oily one
I always dump out the oil and save it in the jar for chinese stir-fry.
Top ten questions science can’t answer... *answered*
If you add Marmite to 'nothing added' peanut butter, the consistency of the peanut butter becomes thicker and more homogeneous. Must be to do with the Marmite, but haven't sussed which ingredient is causing the change.
Thank-you 🙏🏻
Interesting! That peanut oil has good fats in it like mono & polyunsaturated fats. This video is the best way to handle it. Just store upside down. I'll film a peanut butter challenge video on my channel soon👍🏾👍🏾
Great trick advice. I eat organic peanut butter and I flip it too.
how long do you store it upside down for the oil to rise to the bottom ?
Was about to send mine back.
Very thanks,
is it possible to add coconut oil instead of these oils to prevent oil separation in peanut butter for long shelf life?
Why would you want too? Doesn't make any sense. Just mix the natural oil in.
So this is why this channel's name is "tech insider"
Why is everyone complaining about
Rapeseed, it's basically just canola oil
0:55 why the emphasis on rape
I use a nut butter mixer (attachment on my hand mixer) to mix the peanut butter and oil mess-free.
Im happy to learn something...cant wait to buy a peanut butter later
As a longtime consumer of Laura Scudder I have noticed there is more oil at the top in recent years. I really don't like this. Mixed into the butter in the jar, it makes a wet consistency, which is unappealing. Placed into the fridge the whole thing solidifies to some extent. I drain as much of it OUT. Super gooey peanut butter is awful.
I just open a jar of smuckers peanut butter and saw all the oil at the top. I thought something was wrong and was going to take back for refund. I am used to Jiffy which has no oil on top but currently no one has in stock now because of the recall.
Thanks. The natural peanut butter I buy dries out when it's almost finished. I'll use the upside down method.
In my country, i saw vendors mix vegetable oil while they grind the peanuts, btw these are the cheap ones you buy in a wet market(Palengke) here in the Philippines, so are there still some natural peanut oil in the peanut butter?
yeah in our palengke, there is one store who sells peanut butter with oil on top of it. the seller told us its peanut, salt and sugar only. but people doesnt want it. they call it "mamantika"
Nice explain ❤
RIP Tech.
Hey, i make my own peanut butter but mine never get as only as the ones shown in the video. The one shown in the video is too liquidy.
"Rapeseed" Wait a minute.... R A P E S E E D????
Yes I always thought it was melted
How aBout the oil in nutella.. its safe?.. many video on yutube said its palm oil.. isnt nut ella made from nuts too..
It's about time life is explained 🙏🙏
