When healthy, Marv Hubbard was an absolute beast. He was looking for someone to run over. Wish he could have made it one more season to get a ring. He epitomized the Raider way. Marv, if you're out there, thank you for setting the tone.
Those early Oakland Raiders bright silver number white shirts just added significantly to the amazing Miracle last second Wins! As well as those incredible comebacks that were the signature trait of this AFL/AFC Champion Team. I watched MANY of these, their unbelievable feats of determination on TV as a boy. My neighborhood friends and i absolutely found the Raiders NFL Football mystique the most exciting in those years.
What's great about this truly "classic" video Is the intro - performed by Mr. Football, Pat Summerall - and its narration by the voice of the NFL, John Facenda. Both were awarded the Pete Rozelle Radio-Television Award from the Pro Football Hall of Fame (Summerall in 1994; Facenda, posthumously, in 2021).
This is the footage that is used (in edited format) by NFL films. I've never seen this original version. Blanda's 1970 season is my favorite part of NFL history. This is truly amazing to see
I miss the 1970s NFL. So natural...

The Oakland Raiders was one of the best teams in history. Coach Madden was the best and could put coach all of today’s coaches.

For a second, I thought that player was the radio announcer
Not sure why this is monochrome? Every other 1970 highlight I have seen is in colour. Great story though!
Why black and white ?
Mine is color. Didn’t you get UA-camColor???
