watching this video reminded me of Fargo for some reason and it felt very nostalgic even though I never stepped a foot in US. i've also watched more of your videos and this channel might be, better said it is, the best finding I had the whole year so far.
Awesome work Bren! Cool to see a lot of familiar places near where I used to live.. also recognized your truck from when we met up in Paradise for that expired film 🎞 you hooked me up with🤙🏼 -Jimmy
I really enjoyed this. Have you compared the Cat Lab 80 with other black and white films...such as Delta 100? I'm quite impressed with the quality you are getting with the Portra 400. That second shot of the Timber House (4:47) is beautiful. The colors are rich and there is no visible grain. Is this fresh film, are you using a polarizing filter, and how are you determining your exposures? Sorry for the many questions. I am your newest subscriber...at least for the next few minutes...Lol!
I haven’t done much of a comparison between Delta 100 and Cat Labs 80, but I would say that Cat Labs is slight more contrasty. Delta 100 would be a favorite of the pair however! For this video I did use fresh Portra, but no polarizer. I measured my exposures using a spot meter app on my phone, and used a grey card to get more accurate measurements in the snow
What a great video! Well done !
Thank you so much!😁

Thanks for showing us around. Beautiful country, especially in the snow and on film.👍👍
Thank you Terry! I certainly agree👍
Well done, beautiful captures of landscapes! :) very relaxing video
Thanks man! I appreciate it🙌
Hey man! I really like the contrast between the cabin and the snow at 7:20!
Thanks man! That shot is certainly my favorite from the day👍
Awesome video man! Loved that shot of the fireplace still standing where the house would have been!
Thanks! There was plaque at the base of it exposing the history of the house, but it was buried in 4 feet of fresh snow ❄️

I have never shot landscapes with my 4x5 and my RB67 at the same time.
Follow you on Instagram and love your work man. Cool to see you're on UA-cam too. Keep up the good work! 🔥
Thank you so much John!! I’m so stoked to hear that🙌
