How to remove a headunit (Toyota Estima)

How did you work out that the OEM camera is 6V? Have you discovered anything further about this. I am installing an aftermarket head unit in my Estima and I would prefer to use the OEM rear camera. If I install an inline voltage converter down from 12v to 6v, can I expect it to work? Your experience in this would be valuable. Thx Shane

Hi, I have a 2005 estima with the original Stereo System from Japan. It has 3 cameras at front and one at rear which automatically turn on. Whats the best system you would reccomend and size pls. Looking for something that can connect to my phones google maps and has bluetooth calling etc

Hiya. Did u have th steering wheel buttons in use with th after market unit u have in this car

Yes the included wiring loom kept the volume and mode buttons on the steering wheel working

Thanks for the video. Just one question. Did your head unit come with the correct size surround? Have just bought an estima and the head unit isn't fitted correctly.

Hi Graham the head unit did not need me to fit a surround it was the right size.

Mine didn't fit either. Brackets are shorter!
