The fact that they abandon the game at it's peak point and switched development to half working buggy battlefield really pisses me off, the game had so much potential i just wish they will maybe come back to add the eastern front and leave

I know people love BF4 and BF1, but honestly BFV is my absolute favorite semi recent Battlefield game! It combines the cinematic aspect and story telling of BF1 with some awesome mechanics such as the fortification system. No need to fight over personal preference - but I think BFV especially in Breakthrough is the ultimate battlefield experience of the past 6+ years!

The fortifications and the requisition point system were something they should have kept in the future games. Actually rewarding squads that played together and do well during the game with powerful call-ins.
Battlefield V for me is the last game of the franchise that actually feels like a battlefield title, even if there are several flaws. Like his historical innacuracies and his several problems.
It feels alive and like a battlefield game thanks to his graphics, mechanics, gunplay, large scale battles, guns, easter eggs and fun factors.
Something i cannot say about battlefield 2042 which in my opinion feels dead and without identity

Have 2500 hrs on bfv and thoroughly enjoyed it. Played 2042 beta for 2 conquest games and realized it was the worst battlefield ever made and I’ve played every single one of them.
When you unlock something mid game MAKE SURE TO FINISH THAT MATCH or you'll not get what you unlocked. For exemple don't quit at lvl 10 assault when you unlock the STG. If you do, you'll have to lvl up to the next level or the one after to get it and get rid of the "Available Next Round" msg

in the game files they had tons of unused russian content, and in the actual game there are finnish weapons and for a short time a russian lmg. sad they adopted cod's strategy of releasing a new half-assed game every year.

Every damn video you made on this game during its """live service days""" was a 10 minutes rant on how bad DICE screwed up ( 7 months for the first real season, bad netcode, shit visibility, poor balance etc. ). The fact that bf 2042 is the worst battlefield ever doesn't make all the past games retroactively better. BFV is a sub par game at its best

Bro what are you talking about, most criticisms against bfV dont hold much weight anymore, theres enough content, great sound design and the weapon balancing is very well done. Try hopping on and playing it, the reason there are still multiple full lobbies is because people actually enjoy the game. These types ov videos are a biproduct of the trend of releasing games before theyre finished, leading to people discounting games before they reach their true form.
@danb2234 the atmosphere is god awful, game modes and weapon customization are awful, maps are absolutely atrocious for the vast majority of them. Its still a buggy unfinished mess, let's not pretend otherwise because 2042 was even worse.

@@TBAG maybe it has to do with the development of BF on it's own. EA really killed the enthusiasm for the game currently with 2042. But you will find your content. I continue watching you and it will get better, I am sure about that 🔥
Their own TTK update killed the game. Within 1 month of that miserable ttk update the game servers reduced to barely 1 in our region. And only when they partially reverted that update dod half of the players returned. So they actively killed the game.

As somebody who hated on this game on launch but later picked it up a few months before the Pacific Update, I grew to love this game and was so optimistic about its future because all it needed was some more content and continued updates and it would have been a great game.

The lunge mine or "banzai mine" as I like to call it, makes this game so much fun. The construction aspect it good fun too, building those mgs in all those spots. Headshots in this game are so satisfying too. Its no BF1 but still has its brilliant moments. Bf5,Bf1 and Enlisted are my games that are being played recently.

There is one last chance for EA to revive the Battlefield franchise. We need amazing graphics, good performance, present day scenario, dedicated servers, a server browser, a scoreboard, 5 man squads, a lot of guns, lot of vehicles, at least 2 new maps every season, no clown skins, destruction, legacy maps and at least 3 years support full of content.
The next bf game is going to be a cod clone, yeah EA have given up on trying to be the worst no no they are the worst so I wouldn't get my hopes up for another cod slop clone, does anyone remember halo 4 no didn't think so.

In my opinion, this is the best WWII game I've ever played. My 48-year-old uncle, upon seeing me play, exclaimed, 'Wow, what is this game?' He was surprised, and since he also loves war games like Battlefield V, I wasn't surprised by his reaction. While I still love this game, I'm puzzled by EA's apparent neglect. They seem to have abandoned BFV, allowing cheaters to ruin the experience. Sadly, I have to accept this.

I love this game, just like BF1 i love to go full infantry, like i use the arisaka with iron sight, and i just love to counter sniper from across the map, it always makes me laugh
Wish I could enjoy this game. How it came out, how it ended, killed all prospects of me ever reinstalling it. It's not bad, but it sure as hell isn't good. So sad that Pacific DLC feelings vanished by them killing the game early.

Actually went back to this game a couple weeks ago. I forgot how good it was. And one thing I'd like to see is cross-play between PlayStation and Xbox. No PC, too many cheaters.
Fingers crossed, the next battlefield title is released in a good state and not full of glitchy bugs.
I don’t know what EA execs were thinking to have abandoned BFV and BF2 right after they started to get better and more popular. BF1 and BFV still have very healthy player base while BF2 is dead in my region.
I have always enjoyed Battlefield V. Even during its worst days, invisible players, TTK...But at it's basis, the game is awesome. The flaws came early with the release's representation which was horrendous but that didn't even consider the base game. However since day one, a huge wave of haters developed that it became a standard to criticise the game, somewhat a "battlefield veteran". Yet now after the end of the game support for years, people really enjoyed it at last and all the toxic base left long time ago and for those who played the game in the last two year really felt the joy.

I love some parts about BF5, but the state they left it in is truly terrible. The planes are able to sit in their spawn and launch rockets at the rest of the map with zero consequence, as they're out of AA range even if you walk up to the base with a Flieg. The tanks feel terrible half the time, as with an unspecialized tank you're doing 20 whereas the enemy might be doing 40-50. The balancing overall is the biggest issue with the game in my opinion, and I think it would have been so much better if they had kept developing it and had done something about issues like these.
Battlefield games since BF1 were like:
Before release: hyped with all the showcases
Release: a buggy mess and players starting to leave the game
1 or 2 years later when things got better and dev decided to stop developing: "man this game is a gem idk why people hate it"

I spent the most hours in my life on this game. They shoulda just added the Russians bro. IMO game was ahead with the mechanics like the leaning and laying on your back to see your legs was fresh. The slide was OP was definitely fun.
