Finally some Kaido content on the channel! Let me know if you'd like to see more of these insane creations and we'll do some more detailed deep dives into them.
@@kramrollin69 I beg to differ, they really are all over the world. Theres a pretty big following in USA/Canada. Thailand has a bunch and even me myself in Malaysia too since im building one and a part of a kaido racer crew here
@@kramrollin69 over in canada theres the Checkpoint Japan peeps and in the states theres Moonlight Runners. Both do their own cruise/gatherings and theres a healthy turnout of cars and people. Nowhere close to not used or generally disliked
As a working visual artist and a car enthusiast I can honestly say this is the only part of the car culture where I think it really blends those two worlds mentioned, together Japan is really ahead of the rest of the world in terms of style
I truly appreciate your knowledge sharing and your passion. It's admirable that you commit to this disregarding the harsh weather conditions (extreme hot or cold). You make your opportunities in the community and thanks to you, we can be closer to remarkable car enthusiasts and a different car culture.
The Kaido Racer scene is by far my favourite thing in the Japanese car culture. Then the modified vans Then the modified KEI cars/vans/trucks Then the NO GOOD RACING Honda's
Imma be that guy; Akchually, the 'upside down' wing isn't a improvised diffusor it's a 'Slit Spoiler'. Think of them as a kind of proto diffusor. There's different makes and variants to them and they're indeed intended to be mounted like that.
Yeah if you havent noticed by now, my mans isnt the best with all the technical terminology and specs, details ect. Hes a Camera Nerd who loves cars, Not a car nerd with a camera. Slightly different.
That was some sic af video shot on the move. I remember the old grainy clips we would watch over and over, these guys and gals are the epitome of perseverance for all goal. A pinnacle of their chosen sub culture.
Something that's unquestionable is how wild those builds are, in pretty much everything, but especially the race-inspired paintwork. I also really like these tamer, cleaner 70's and 80's square body sedans we don't see often. 2:19 In Brazil we don't have these, of course, but we have something called _chora boy_ culture, which are slammed cars with (usually) huge OEM design replica wheels and everything it takes to make them sit as low to the ground as possible: raised floors and engine mounts, cut up wheel wells, modified suspension, etc. Similar measures for different goals.
It was a dream 10years ago, to build a proper kaido racer in the Philippines, hopefully i can make it this 2025 ❤️ thank you for your kaido content really hard to cover ❤️❤️❤️
This was so cool, I think this style is one of my favorites, besides drifting. This style reminds me of something that came out of an anime, like Redline. It even made me want to watch it again. And to the family that brought the guy's car, dreams never die. With all due respect. Rest in peace. Please, bring more of these style and others dude
Dino....just wow! another awesome vid. Yes a culture that is probably disappearing ? but will always have the enthusiasts ...😎 I admire all styles for their own virtues. Those moving shots were unreal and it is the perfect picture of Japan car culture...love it!! Thanks for your upload Dino, Keep up the good work Rob
Dino," Naito Engineering " . Don't know much about them but they seems very interesting. And you questioned about what we'd like to see, I really like the car meets that you show just don't get stuck showing one type of car all the time and you should be good😂. You sort of pulled me to the JDM world again and I thank you. Keep up the good work👍
Such an awesome video Dino but the difference between your voice level and the music level was really unbalanced, I was going up and down the whole video to match a normal video volume. Not triying to bother you, just for you to notice. 😢

@ Perhaps in some areas of East Asia, but in the Anglo World, this particular Japanese style is not used or generally liked.

Great choice of music for this one! Getting that 1980s feeling.

Don't know that I would ever do a car up like that, but can't deny they are works of art. The stills that you shared towards the end looked amazing!

That's so amazing. I'd love to see the engine bays. Even if they are not modded. Just to see what is making the glorious sound.
Kaido racers gives me Gundam vibes. Love the content, wish we had something like it in europe

Dino: There's a plate down here!
Oops 😬
More kaido content please, or other highway racer videos. Feels like a dream these days.
Hey Dino can you explain to the difference between a kaido racer and bozozuku build, great video by the way!
Those MkIIs are just stunning
These cars couldnt excist anywhere else but Japan ey. In Aus they would be impounded in a heartbeat
There's a couple in aus but mostly just show cars
These go hard. Crazy cool cars

Grazie Mille Dino 🎉🎉🎉
So sick!!!
Can never get enough of kaido Racer content!
This was pretty special 👌🏼🙏🏼
One of the finest expressions of insanity I've ever seen!
Kaido racer content 🔥
How do the splitters clear speed bumps or inclines? Whatever happened to VIP style?
The scrape 😂 VIP is still out there, need to hunt out some good meets!
Not sure if you still get much time for videogames, but have you seen that Genki Racing Project is bringing back Tokyo Xtreme Racer? 😊
Really? That’s cool, I still have a couple of those games for PS2 😎
No time for that these days
激渋旧々昭和過積車超車光短最光格光いぃ!!🚗💨⚡✨🌠🌟☝🏻👌🏻🤘🏻👍🏻😆🤩💖
If you drove one of those cars in Australia you go STRAIGHT TO JAIL
Or even a normal car at 2 km/h over the speed limit 😝
🤘🏾⚡️
@Dino DC what's the difference between Kaido and Bosozoku?
Kaido racers are the cars
How did Kaido start?
Inspiration from the race cars I mentioned
The camera needs a light on it. We are missing allot being so dark outside
Now I know where the Hot Wheels Mad Manga coming from 😅
Hi, at mark 00:02 Datsun 210 - how is it possible for this car to pass the vehicle inspection test for road legal registration?
They have their ways…
Its cool that you got to see the tokyo revengers irl. Weird that all the cars are honda swapped
Honda swapped uh
@dino_dc jokes my friend. All the Hondas used to sound like this around 2015
日本🇯🇵では、このような車🚘の騒音被害が問題になっています😮
It’s a pity as this is pure automotive history that needs to be conserved
Gotta find a way to cover plates
Wondering, how do they dodge the police since their mods were really out of the box 😅
Bosozoku
ヨンメリとちゃうで~エ、ジャパンやで‼️🤗
Mexican asf but in Japan. Crazy!
Not Mexican at all. Not even close. The paint jobs might be kind of similar a tiny bit, but even then... not really.

They’re actually orange. Have red ones too, I’ll put them on for you next time 😉
@dino_dc hell yeah bro I love red bro let's hear y'all

Love ya Dino, be these things are way too obnoxious for me
