Hey, just to be super clear, this video was intentionally made to demonstrate the “two many cooks” philosophy. I thought it would be entertaining to some to witness the chaos. The Pokemon were never supposed to be realistic in any capacity. While clearly a divisive video, it’s a pretty fun stream activity, so hopefully I will continue this series as a stream exclusive.
The basic ideas and how they came together are phenomenal, but you gotta overhaul these mons to look like actual fakemons!!❤
The urge I have to draw these
I would love to do this again, even if some don't like the results, I think as we do it more, the results may turn out closer to real Pokemon designs. Regardless, the streams were SUPER fun for me, very happy with how Bactal turned out and very proud of my contributions to it.
The last two could be real mons with a few changes I think, with how Pokémon is going on about with some designs, I wouldn't be surprised to see a design similar to Teloniclaw (with some changes of course)

This proves me not everyone has the ability to create good fakemon. So if gamefreak makes a design and people doesn't like, you can realize that those people didn't know how to do a good design neither 😂
Facts
Ok the idea of interpreting the poison type as light pollution is straight up genius and I wish I thought of it first. It could turn the pollution trio into the pollution quartet

I would love to see a video where you take these pokemon you made in this video, and then alter them to how you would personally make them without restrictions. I'd love to see how the designs would change with a more cohesive concept

Aromist is a little overdesigned for my personal taste, but they're also so cute that I love them anyway. It seems like a combo of qwilfish and galarian weezing, which is cool!
I think if you removed the stitches and maybe the nuclear eye, it could actually work as a pretty cool pokemon

I think the idea of a spider monkey with multiple tails to resemble multiple legs is a great idea, would love to still see that!

Speaking of that series with the Pokétubers picking random attributes, I have some people to suggest~
I would love to see Uzi Gunner, Shiny Catherine, Candy Evie and Cybertron Zheng.
I'd also imagine that a lot of people would love to see people like MandJTV, WolfeyVGC or Alpharad.

I know they aren't strictly Pokemon, but they both are still well-versed in the series regardless. Actually maybe the rest of the Runaway Guys may be good picks too, but I'm not as familiar with them.

Kangatoad looks like it could be a final stage fakimon.. with a means of evolving to this pokemon being something similar to Mantyke
While very weird, Telinoclaw was masterfully done and definitely my favorite of the video!

that last one while... Oof... its still got something cool about it.. it makes me think of something akin to Porygon. Like a more soft start to the mon before the mon. Or even the start of the Futuristic mons from Scarlet&Voilet. Still seems liek it was fun for the fans.. maybe a hassle in a half for you but I hope you also had fun some how!
Man, those were chaotic 😅 it shows two things. 1. Ron is awesome and can do anything with what he is given, and 2. Some people don't understand pokemon designs and the balance that comes with their concepts at all. However, it was still an amazing video.
I have an idea for a new signature move for Kangatoad
It is a two turn steel type priority 90 accuracy and 50 base power fisical move called "spring jump".
In the first turn, It hits 3 times and goes flying and in the second turn It deals a 100 base power hit. This move has recoil and after using It, Kangatoad needs a turn to rest
I love this concept- and I'm impressed how you can always make it work! I bet trying to keep up with the changes from the chat was a challenge, though 😂

Teloniclaw is veering into weirdcore territory and i love it. Honestly these concepts are so out there i adore them, i would love to see them reworked into your style/freedom to redesign.

What a great stream idea! I hope you do more recap videos like this, the chaos was *chef's kiss* perfection. Curious if you'd be interested in fleshing out/trimming up some of the designs into "proper" fakemon, could be sorta educational like your critiquing fakemon artists. For a chaos council, the results are pretty interesting and definitely show some potential, they're just in the very first stage of development where, while you've technically drawn it, it's still just a rough concept (with dope shading/rendering)
I love how someone came in at the very end JUST to make Teloniclaw's feet tennis rackets. Just there to cause chaos and I love it

@@haddy106 Difference is Shedinja has a gimmick ability to go along with its base 1 HP. Aromish doesn't. Anything can hit this thing and take it out.

This was such a fun video to watch! Aromish reminds me of a plushie Neopet in some ways. Bactal is most Pokemon like. Kangatoad is so incredibly goofy and adorable, I want more lore. Teloniclaw could fit as an Ultrabeast. Those had almost no rules in terms of following design norms. And the tennis racket feet could be rackets for a Wii Sports type game.
Teloniclaw could be a Porygon offshoot.
I really link Kangatoad. I think it would be cool if the frogs were actually another Pokémon that you could catch outside of Kangatoad.
Maybe you could (also) do streams where people can simply donate for permanent attributes- less time-consuming, less chaotic & likely yields better results. I get that this is more fun for many but there surely are also several like me who prefer the excitement of how well you make the attributes given by other Pokétubers work together. To make it more exciting on stream, maybe the attributes could be kept a secret either until you start drawing or until the very end- so things unravel while you create.
&/Or you make videos revisiting these designs turning them into more believable versions trying your best to maintain certain aspects.
Be cool if kangatoad frogs could be different variants. So maybe two males could be a variant and vise versa. Or maybe different amount of frogs could be present or even different color frogs
I really hope u do a video turning mh monsters into Pokémon there are lots of cool ideas in there.

I could see Filter as a hidden ability for Aromish. It works in the literal sense, as it is a filter feeder that filters water and light, but also makes sense competitively as well.

To be honest I want to make a permanent donation for a Pokémon being a made scientist test tube that has green liquid, clawed metal gloves with red juice in them like the future paradox Pokémon, a cyborg eye with the same color scheme as the gloves, a syringe with a red liquid inside, and call it “Corruptotube,” but then let chat decide what the shiny colors will be and cause an all out war with it XD
It would be super cool if you made a video taking these concepts and marking them into more realistic fakemon! Some of these concepts have a lot of potential!

I had an idea for your 4 artists 1 prompt series. The prompt would be "a split evolution based on different jobs an item can be used in." Ex. A crucible can be used in glass blowing and metal smelting.
this is like when when the higher ups in an animation company demand nonsensical changes to character designs, story, etc for profit (a la Frozen's early concept art vs the final movie)- money speaks louder than artistic vision! 😂😭
it'd be fun to see you redesign them into what they might've been if you had full creative control sometime- even though that kind of defeats the purpose of the challenge. this was such a chaotic but super fun idea! 😁👍
Slightly sad that Teloniclaw wasn't called Poul-tv-geist (Poultry [goose], tv, and poltergeist). Since it's also a poltergeist with tv motif, it could have been an homage to the Poltergeist franchise.

Teloniclaw is neat I love ghost types and Ghost/Steel is a wonderful typing. It's an identity crisis but it pulls it off

Kinda sad I missed the opportunity to participate in the livestream but an interesting concept I had for is a little girl who through the power of imagination detached their soul from their body and attached it to their shadow and became a Pokémon(ghost/fairy), and as a Pokémon they’d spread fake news of themselves to make people believe there more dangerous then they are, the Pokémon can even have an ability where they change into a giant shadowy figure(like imu from one piece) and wander around forests scaring young trainers

Compared to your usual 9 UA-camrs helping design fakemon, i think this idea is way better - since not only do you involve many members of the fakemon community, but the money raised can be used to help support your channel, and we get to see some pretty funky-doodle designs lol!
The tennis rackets XDDD!!! Consider, what if they're that tennis racket attachment for the wii remote for wii sports, then I feel like it might make alittle more sense. Not much, but maybe alittle *shrugs*

Most of these Pokemon suffer from the proverbial "too many cooks". They're a random hodgepodge of too many things. The only decent one that isn't too much is Bactal.
I'll be surprised if no one wanted to donate to permanent remove everything. Someone would totally do that. 😂

Nice to have a permanent reminder that I spent actual money on this. I asked for a kangaroo since to my knowledge there has never been a Pokémon based on a kangaroo before.
I just came up with a new fakemon idea:
Gigawott (Regional Variant of Samurott) the Electric Otter Pokemon
Typing: Electric/Water
Colors: Blue, Gold, Teal
Design: Samurott but less bulky and with electricity
Just randomly thought of this
Lives in the ocean mainly but also in other places
abilities: torrent. Hidden ability: volt absorb
I absolutely LOVE the whole concept but I feel bad for the person that paid for a friendly face for Aromish only to end up with this HAHA😂
Neat concept, but I definitely think the viewer participation needs to be tweaked so more on brand results happen more often. I think it's the changing on the fly that makes it harder for things to come together. Your 'Poketubers design a Pokemon' series has similarly disparate elements that still come together to make something cool and cohesive.
Maybe there could be a window of time to donate for a certain category, and the final four selections could then go into a poll and become permanent before moving onto the next category?
Or maybe the stream goes exactly like it did, you make what you make, but then for the video on the channel you get to tweak the design more to try and pull it together more?
