Maya should probably count herself lucky that she and Phoenix weren't in the courtroom scheme for seven years. When you can't go a game without getting framed for murder, kidnapped, nearly murdered, or all of the above at least once, you might want to find a better line of work.

actually, parrot testimony has been a thing for decades, though they are considered evidence, not witnesses.
When the DLC case was brought up, I was expecting The Dissin' of Phoenix Wright.

Phoenix cross examining he parrot isn’t even the most absurd part of all this. Its the fact that von Karma KNEW he would do it and actually made the parrot unlearn the phrase about DL-6.

What’s insane is that a parrot was a actual witness to a murder, The parrot after the murder would mimic the voices of the murderer and the victim as they fought, what really shocked people is that this parrot mimicked the victims voice saying “don’t f***ing shoot”.I’m not sure if the parrot was actually used as evidence in the trial or not but it’s still amazing that this bird was able to do this at all!
Whenever people talk about Turnabout Big Top to me, I say, "You mean the Billy Bob Johns case?" Seriously, of all the generic hillbilly names to give someone!

What a good thing to wake up to, AA related content. Also, yes, #1 fits for this occasion.
The best part about Furio Tigre is that he also SOMEHOW succeeds in impersonating Glen Elg. Its theme fits him perfectly, a mixture of menacing and absurd.

Honestly, cross examining the parrot is one of the least crazy things.
I've just switched over from binging on Undertale videos to binging on Ace Attorney videos so the intro song confused me a little tbh
5. I concede that the monkey was the weirdest thing out of all the moments in turnabout big top. That said, I'm glad they kept the circus/magicians theme going in the franchise bc I love magic and I love ace attorney.4. Amazing South Park Character! That's...actually pretty accurate. Although I'd put the whole magic panties thing on here because panty raids 3. YES YES! The most outrageous moment in the game. And they managed to make it weirder than Polly the Parrot2. Weirdness aside he's a good businessman...too bad he has a bad Brooklyn accent and has to suck up to the boss's goddaughter.1. Knew it!

In this game you are the parrot in Turnabout Goodbyes I think it was called and this time you spy on suspicious people getting evidence for when they murder. You use this to help bring out the truth.

fun fact: in new orleans a crime boss has his pet parrot testify against him getting him to arrested... the parrot even had to go to witness protection. lol
The absurd moments like this is what makes Ace Attorney as purely epic as it is... xD
How about the fact that Maya is accused of 4 separate murders, and the Judge presides over 3 of those cases and takes it seriously every time.
testimony of animals has been allowed in the US for over 50 years, parrots being the most common since tjey do sometimes memorize statements during crimes.

Don't doubt the powers of birds. I had a parrot that could mimic almost any sound, he would often mimic the sounds of our cell phones with startling accuracy. I can't tell you how many times I've checked my phone to discover it wasn't ringing.
Testimony from animals, while uncommon, is not far from anything that can't be done in trails....Pet "testimony" can be used for many things.

well there's also the end of dual destinies where the killer continually rips off masks for about 5 minutes, or the conclusion to the Layton crossover. all weird as hell.
Almost Shay The conclusion in the Layton Crossover is normal for a Layton game. There's no magic in those games, just tricks.
AbsolX Guardian A conclusion can be normal for a universe yet still off putting, although to be honest upon reflection the crossover's conclusion was pretty lackluster.

+randezzel27 No, but it was just so weird. It wasn't like Jean Greyerl where you could kind of understand, she just went from too much testosterone to every bit of estrogen. Even weirder was when she started swinging between the two faster than Trucy faked her very own kidnapping. Robin Newman was absolutely ridiculous, maybe not as much as other characters on the list but she deserved an honourable mention.
