    lol. The same thing that happens to a nerf ball. Thats why you use waterproof pad covers to protect them. I would recommend a large tarp for when its not in use.

  • @DemascionLycan
    @DemascionLycan 12 років тому

    As long as they are solid through they are fine. The important thing is that they are in one piece. Its not like they have to hold traction for driving.

    This is the best home-made ring I've ever seen. Did you think of which materials you needed by yourself or have you seen this done before? This makes me want to make a ring.

    where do i find 32 tires ..

  • @DemascionLycan
    @DemascionLycan 12 років тому

    The cost of materials is a big part of it. The ring is much more stable, and will last much longer. Its made of steel bracings instead of tires which dry-rot. Also, it can be taken apart and moved more easily if you are putting on a show. Plus, the pro rings can tighten the ropes properly so that they can support your weight easier with less risk of you falling off. Also, these guys obviously own their home, so they could cement their ring in. Pro rings don't need to be cemented in.

    We have made a ring very similar for around $100. The only difference is we did not use wire, we use braided poly rope. (WWE uses rope too) Only ours has a nasty habit of stretching so we cant quite get the ropes tight to the level wed like. Any suggestions?

    do the tires need to be in good shape or can they be semi decent?

  • @DemascionLycan
    @DemascionLycan 12 років тому

    Yea. But you can't beat the quality, and you don't have to do the major parts of the setup yourself. Just the final few steps, unless you pay someone to completely set it up. If you look online, there are sites, such as monster ring, where you can purchase professional rings. They ship you the parts (which I'm certain gets pricey) and you do the installation. The rings are amazing, but before shipping costs, you're looking at around $4600 for a 16 foot ring. WWE uses a 20 foot ring. TNA - 18ft

    just get 4 king sized mattress put 2 of them together side by side, then put the other 2 on top the same way, get a huge tarp or sheet i would recommend both use the sheet for wrestling so you can stuff it in the mattress, and the tarp to put over it when its raining or your not using it, if its in like the garage or basement then you wont need a tarp, i havent figured out how to make the turnbuckles posts and ropes yet, if you have a suggestion please reply it

    Actually, TNA uses steel cabling. WWE uses taped ropes, and different promotions use other setups. Ropes are better for comfort, but aren't as steady and don't last as long, but steel cabling hurts more when thrown onto it.

    • @entertainmentfan1463
      @entertainmentfan1463 3 роки тому

      WWE actually has special ropes where the outside is typical rope fibres circling a thin steel cable in the centre so those ropes don't break.

  • @DemascionLycan

    Actually, the materials for a steel ring cost around $2500-$3000, and thats not including the cost of labor for the welding. If you go out and pay to have one built you're looking at 5-6k.
