Im building.mine.as we speak for 400 cement isnt needed either is so much wood I use this video for so many ideas im glad this man made this video it helped alot aloy
lol. The same thing that happens to a nerf ball. Thats why you use waterproof pad covers to protect them. I would recommend a large tarp for when its not in use.
As long as they are solid through they are fine. The important thing is that they are in one piece. Its not like they have to hold traction for driving.
This is the best home-made ring I've ever seen. Did you think of which materials you needed by yourself or have you seen this done before? This makes me want to make a ring.
The cost of materials is a big part of it. The ring is much more stable, and will last much longer. Its made of steel bracings instead of tires which dry-rot. Also, it can be taken apart and moved more easily if you are putting on a show. Plus, the pro rings can tighten the ropes properly so that they can support your weight easier with less risk of you falling off. Also, these guys obviously own their home, so they could cement their ring in. Pro rings don't need to be cemented in.
We have made a ring very similar for around $100. The only difference is we did not use wire, we use braided poly rope. (WWE uses rope too) Only ours has a nasty habit of stretching so we cant quite get the ropes tight to the level wed like. Any suggestions?
Yea. But you can't beat the quality, and you don't have to do the major parts of the setup yourself. Just the final few steps, unless you pay someone to completely set it up. If you look online, there are sites, such as monster ring, where you can purchase professional rings. They ship you the parts (which I'm certain gets pricey) and you do the installation. The rings are amazing, but before shipping costs, you're looking at around $4600 for a 16 foot ring. WWE uses a 20 foot ring. TNA - 18ft
just get 4 king sized mattress put 2 of them together side by side, then put the other 2 on top the same way, get a huge tarp or sheet i would recommend both use the sheet for wrestling so you can stuff it in the mattress, and the tarp to put over it when its raining or your not using it, if its in like the garage or basement then you wont need a tarp, i havent figured out how to make the turnbuckles posts and ropes yet, if you have a suggestion please reply it
I was thinking, if you cover the tubes on a top that will go under, you can take away all the ring corners together but's a hard job and you always need to make up again the holes!
How do you think most professional wrestlers got their start? They broke the rules, made their own setups and trained. These guys are actually entertaining if you watch their other videos.
ahhhh true!!! all those tyres would be an absolute pain to move around! hahah and ahh yeah the cementing! yeah was wondering about that since other rings ive seen just had big bases/im guessing were heavy enough not to move anyway? :0
So, what if this is simply the starter ring that these guys needed? Its fun to play on, and allows for more realistic setups than that of the trampoline the hardy's used.
Well, as I'm certain you've figured out, WWE has money. they put new ropes on every ring they build so as to avoid accidents to the best off their ability. There is no way to avoid the stretching.
WOW! that is awesome!!! checked out the monster rings website :D..soooo coooool!!! :DDDD whats the difference between a pro wrestling and backyard wrestling ring though? :0 how is there over $2000 diff in price?
Actually, TNA uses steel cabling. WWE uses taped ropes, and different promotions use other setups. Ropes are better for comfort, but aren't as steady and don't last as long, but steel cabling hurts more when thrown onto it.
@@entertainmentfan1463 Lmfao. I commented there 8 years ago. Their equipment could have changed since then. I don't even know anymore. Wouldn't even know where to look to see changes in equipment
I think it's probably because they actually had the Metallica song, but it got copyright struck, so they had to change the song to Paralyzer, though ironically that song will also get copyright struck these days as well.
Actually, the materials for a steel ring cost around $2500-$3000, and thats not including the cost of labor for the welding. If you go out and pay to have one built you're looking at 5-6k.
@codo114 Its called going to a local repair shop, they throw away all the tires they take off the cars, ask for permission and they will gladly give them to you
WOW! lol i actaully had that same idea in mind for building a wrestling ring LOL though i think most professional wrestling rings are plywood over a steel frame arent they? :0 wouldnt that be a ton cheaper as well? (not criticizing just asking) unless you managed to get all the tyres really cheap :D anyway awesome vid! :D
I'm 115 and my friend is around 100 would the turnbuckle hold us if we go to the top rope ????? And one more question if we did a superplex off the top rope would the ring break
the easy and the way u dont spend money on cardboards for the base, more cardboard for the turnbuckle papper for the pads and rope the cost will be $0.00
Thanks for the video I'm trying to make my own back yard wrestling ring similar to this but I also do back yard wrestling too! And I'm trying to get a new show up and running soon but not alot of peeps like wrestling anymore though in my part of town
I remember seeing this when I was like 11, showing it to my dad like "Please dad!!"
This man is my hero I thought id.never have a ring but now I do . . And its awsome
Huge bed=best ring ever
İt can be broke man

Excellent work man!
do the tires need to be in good shape or can they be semi decent?
Yea. But you can't beat the quality, and you don't have to do the major parts of the setup yourself. Just the final few steps, unless you pay someone to completely set it up. hi my parents want to use tires which is not the reason and I wanted to ask what else I can use?
were did you get foam that thick??

there ya go you fixed the song
Where in the hell do find that many tires!?
I was thinking, if you cover the tubes on a top that will go under, you can take away all the ring corners together but's a hard job and you always need to make up again the holes!
How much foam is that? Like 3 inches?
@TheTop10Man Tna uses steel cables. WWE uses tape wrapped rope.
do you think 4" pipe would be stronger?
where do u get the foam
@MigetMindfreak
Agreed!
Hey, what kind of wire did you guys use and where can I get some? Thanks.
where did you get the foam from and is there a certain brand?
The ropes look like loose
Joaquim Teixeira carai ate aqui se veio kkkkkkk
To build an own ring in my home is license required on it?
so how big did they make this ring?
i relly want a wrestling ring and i dnt have the stuff can i use tires wood how fome and rope write back
how much did that cost to make
How do you think most professional wrestlers got their start? They broke the rules, made their own setups and trained. These guys are actually entertaining if you watch their other videos.
what happens if I need to have a ring cheaply but that can be built off and transferred?
What do you do when it´s rain
can you please give me the details about the wood part ?
Does it hurt to fall on
I do not have tires that I can do?
Where can I bring all of those tires??
ahhhh true!!! all those tyres would be an absolute pain to move around! hahah and ahh yeah the cementing! yeah was wondering about that since other rings ive seen just had big bases/im guessing were heavy enough not to move anyway? :0
Hi how are you... Me and my friend are trying to build a ring He weighs 104 pounds and i weigh 114 will the turn buckles hold us?
what size tires you need?someone please tell me fast
Considering the hardy's got their start on a ring from a trampoline, which was likely much smaller, this ain't that bad.
GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHAT HAPPENS TO THE FOAM IF ITS WINDY AND RAINS?
this is cool, but wat if you have to move the ring?
Sorry but I think you guys need to loosen up the foam maybe 2 inches or 1 ?
What is the song name???
How long did it took to do this?
So, what if this is simply the starter ring that these guys needed? Its fun to play on, and allows for more realistic setups than that of the trampoline the hardy's used.
dos this ring hurt more or less then a real ring
How much for all materials
Well, as I'm certain you've figured out, WWE has money. they put new ropes on every ring they build so as to avoid accidents to the best off their ability. There is no way to avoid the stretching.
how much money is all off the stuff you buyed
I'd recommend skipping out on 4 tires on one side to keep weapons or hide there probably
Yeah 3 tires on one side is probably better both for hiding weapons and will likely give more bounce too.
how much money did you spend on it
U need to use turnbuckles to connect the ropes to the post so u can tighten the ropes
the youtube algorithm strikes gold once again, i'm curious to see what it looks like now
Where can I find the foam sheets?
WOW! that is awesome!!! checked out the monster rings website :D..soooo coooool!!! :DDDD whats the difference between a pro wrestling and backyard wrestling ring though? :0 how is there over $2000 diff in price?
how much did it all cost
question: what if it rains?
ring is BEAST
is the impact the same as when you use a ring with a coil spring system
do the ropes lossen when one of you stand on them
u do it a little too complicated but really freaking awsome
NICE! Very nice work
i love this bruh
Actually, TNA uses steel cabling. WWE uses taped ropes, and different promotions use other setups. Ropes are better for comfort, but aren't as steady and don't last as long, but steel cabling hurts more when thrown onto it.
WWE actually has special ropes where the outside is typical rope fibres circling a thin steel cable in the centre so those ropes don't break.

i made the base of the ring i go t the ropes i need 7 turnbuckls nd 4 poles thanks for your help
How much will all this cost
does it hurt
that song isn't Metallica it's paralyzed by finger eleven
Kruval ' one of the og youtube theme songs
I think it's probably because they actually had the Metallica song, but it got copyright struck, so they had to change the song to Paralyzer, though ironically that song will also get copyright struck these days as well.
lol. TNA is 18x18, though I think they should go back to the hexagonal ring.

can you make them for your bedroom if you vcan post a vid
Awesome ring you got
@codo114 Its called going to a local repair shop, they throw away all the tires they take off the cars, ask for permission and they will gladly give them to you
Real rings, as I have told other people, cost closer to 4-6k depending on the size and style you get.
how did spend on every thing
thats what you cole a ring awsom ring sick
Where in the hell do u find 32 fully aired tires
No air. Just tires
Love the video, for everyone's info though a WCW ring was 18x18 and a WWE ring is 20x20
this is the coolest shit i've ever seen !!
