Some people say “mo molle mo problems” but I think this is pretty nice
Holy "Molle" 🤩that looks really good. The rack is very professional looking and looks like it could have been a Toyota option from a fit and finish angle (paint optional) 👍
Great mod, definitely better with foam.
Fire extinguisher is good idea. I like the paint scheme.
Keep up the great videos!
Thanks Steve!
Looks great...100% differance with that foam...👍👍
Looking good. Makes me wish I had the need for such a rack.
Looks pretty damn good man. Almost makes me want to remove my back seats, almost....
Embrace the dark side.
Holy Molle I would fully load that rack...great for rifles, random pouches and straps
Turned out great! Great idea adding the 1/4” foam.
Thanks buddy!
Tacomaholic do you happen to have the link to the foam that you bought on amazon?
Looks good with the foam backing
Awesome. Glad I found this video ! Thank you
Thanks for watching.
That looks sick ........thumbs up!
Looks beautiful!
The Molle rack is awesome
Looks good!!! 👍🏻
You finaly got the rack. Pe4fict valentines gift.
I've had it ready to install for about a week but wanted it to vent as many paint fumes as possible before installing. 😀
Now that's a baddass setup! I need to keep my rear seat in due to more than one passenger on rare occasions, but seeing this tempts me to remove it....
Very nice seat delete. Looks like a very professional job. Well Done!
Thank you very much!
I've been watching for this mod. I have a 2015 Tacoma AC with the Utility Package (base model 4.7L 5 spd with no back seats). The back is already nice and flat but I'm curious to know how never having seats will affect how to mount the molle panel. I really like the idea of using molle bags and accessories for hanging stuff on the rack instead of on the back of the seats. Thanks for the video.
Thanks Richard! There's a great pic of the access cab molle rack installed on the first post of the Tacomaworld thread I linked in the video description. Tons of spaces for goodies.
Holy Molle! Nice Rack... ... .. . But really, it is cool, thanks for sharing.
Rack looks great!
That is awesome. I'm wanting to do that except that I have a full box with 3 10" subs behind the seat, so it takes up all the room. I want to do the molle panel to not only protect it from my dogs, but also as you're using it here. They don't have that type although it looks like I could just get the full panel. I finally received the deadening material (yes, I had to buy the same stuff you have) and will be doing that as soon as mother nature stops throwing fits here in Utah.
If anyone has a better idea, I'd love to hear it.
Could you send me a pic of your sub box setup? tacomaholic@gmail.com
I didnt see any pics of the Molle system for subs. I would love to have this in my truck because I have a service dog and he would have so much more room with the seats out, but I dont want the speakers just out in the open and getting damaged by my pup..
Update:
Just saw the pic with a sub. But unfortunately it's only designed for 1 sub and not a full box across the back. Man, I would love to have this..
@@mustardman5366 I bet if you send a message to docoloco on Tacomaworld he might be able to do that for you.
@@Tacomaholic I will first thing in the morning. Thanks!
looks great. well done.
Thanks!
How much room is there at the base to where the seat would be? Hoping to mount my maxi trac compressor back there.
Looks cool.
I just bought mine! Thank you
Nice!
I received it about a month ago and I’m just getting around to installing it today. Thank you for all the hard work, you made my life a lot easier.
Looks good
Very nice good job.
Sweet look!
Looks great!
Thanks Joe!
Nice mod. Curious on if the foam did actually add any difference in sound. You may never know. Once you add to the rack that will deaden a lot of sound also.
The foam should help a little ... more so if I went with something thicker but I didn't want to have to use huge bolts to hold everything together.
I’d like to see something like that with large (or all) hook and loop.
While I have some MOLLE pouches, they are a pain in the ass to secure.
Something like this could work: amzn.to/2X50APL
Really nice with the foam behind it, any place specific to get this from ?
I think I grabbed it at Home Depot.
Looks great
Thanks buddy! Love how it turned out.
Looks great. Although a old style rifle rack would look great. What do you think?
That could work though I haven't seen one on a Tacoma.
Personally don’t like guns being displayed in windows for thieves.
It looks good. But I can't seem to find anything remotely close to this currently. I'd like to find something to replace the boxes on my 3rd gen but keep the seats. This looks really good and anything I'd likely make would not look as good.
I see a few people selling their panels from time to time on that thread I linked to on tacomaworld.
Two questions: If a person decides they want to re-install their rear seats, how much space would there be between the Molle rack and seatbacks? Is there enough room to make it still usable?
Second, re your overhead Molle rack, I see you did not re-install the Oh $hit handles. Could you put the handles back on if you used longer bolts?
P.S. It looks great.
Thanks buddy! The rear molle rack works with the rear seats as it replaces the plastic storage bins you have back there. For the overhead rack you can reuse the oh shit handles but would need longer bolts.
How thick is the noico you installing? The red that in your link in the description looks pretty thick, I’m thinking too thick.
The black noico sound-deadening material is maybe 3/16" thick.
I like the MOLE you put in the bed
Love them!
yes, but what kind of accessories does this rack have? or options is the better word. oh your talking about your tacoma. never mind my mind went way elsewhere. please forgive
The rack looks really nice the one thing I would have done is I would have painted the bolts black also but otherwise it looks cool
Must be blind not seeing the link to the rack.
Thanks man! Yeah I've gotta change those bolts.
@@davidrosin6712 Here's the link to the group buy page for the rack: www.tacomaworld.com/threads/group-buy-14-rear-seat-molle-panels-and-bed-management-system-for-2nd-3rd-gen-dc-or-ac.410254/
I have a 2nd Gen access cab. The rear space is useless so I have removed the back seat (the rear panel has a bunch of holes in it) and will be putting a shelf where the storage areas are. I need to get a new back panel for the truck and would like to get something like you have. Where can I purchase something like this (including the upper panel by the rear window)??????
There's a link in the video description for the "group buy" on Tacomaworld. In that link you can get different configurations for the molle panel.
Hell of a rack! What are your window visors?
Thanks buddy! 😀 Weathertech visors seen here: amzn.to/2TRV6G9
OK so in the back of my Tacoma 2008 quad cab I want to take the benches out but I need to leave a seat in the back for my son the way it’s set up on the passenger side it has the wider three-quarter bench seat behind the driver seat is the smaller section and seat is there a possibility of being able to switch the sides so the tiny seed will go on the passenger side and then I can keep all that other room open for cargo area?
There's always a possibility but you would have to move all of the mounting points both on the seats and the floorboard around. Probably be a huge pain versus just using the driver side smaller seat part.
Thank you for the input I really have to just get the seats out first to see what I’m working with it’s kind of difficult because of the need for the kid to drive in the car with me if he wasn’t so young he could sit in the front seat but due to his age loss as he has to sit in the back so removing that see I need to be able to put it back ASAP well for the meantime I’m going to remove the smaller seat behind the driver side and set up a little Area for my tools and my cooler it may block the rear window but I don’t mind I never look out it I’m always driving
Looks good.
-TacoOnFire18
Where did you get that Molle panel? Your link takes me to soft molle that mounts behind the seat
The first link in the video description takes you to the group buy page for the molle panel.
Wish you ran a tape measure for some specs
I was looking at your interior rack, I really like the video! My only concern is that I have a double cab, and A lot of times I have passengers in the back of my truck, will this work? I don’t want it to interfere with me driving other people around
Hey Robert! Yeah the rack will work if you still want to run your back seats since it only replaces the plastic storage containers that are behind the seats.
Tacomaholic awesome! Now how much clearance is there between the seats and rack? I wanna install some tool box organizer mounts on the rack, the mounts aren’t really that thick
Tacomaholic I was looking for the specs on the plate, but I can’t imagine it being more than 2 inches
@@robertouellette8499 Sounds about right. I never had my seats installed with the rack so can't be sure.
Paint the bolt heads flat black to match.
Yeah I'm already tired of them standing out.
Nice job on the rack. Where did you get the foam?
Thanks Nick! I grabbed the foam on Amazon but it looks like they don't carry it anymore. You can probably find something similar at a hardware store though.
How makes this molle panel? And is it only available on TW?
I've only seen them made by Docloco on TW.
Would you be able to still use the seats of storage compartments stay removed?
Yes you can still use your back seats with this molle panel in place.
Great mod! Is there a link for the medipack ?
Thanks buddy! Here's a link to the med pouch: amzn.to/2GTTI1S and a basic first aid kit: amzn.to/2GSqYXy
I saw someone with a molle panel like this and have been trying to track down the source for hours.
Please tell me you still make these 🥲
Im planning out my 60% delete and gathering materials. I want the clean corner to corner molle so bad.
I never made these but there's a link in the video description on where you can grab one.
Is the rack for a second gen Tacoma? And I have a extended cab, trying to figure out which is the right rack to buy
Robert Ouellette I’m lost what are these for? I found this by accident . I’m trying to fit a 12 rockford built in amp but it’s too small so I’m going to use my plasma cutter to cut the back and weld an “extended back”( like a extended cube I guess) which leads Into the back bed. Crazy? Idk why not. I want some bass! And how many fucking hate the shitty radio they come with? My wife keeps laughing at the weak radio as I try to play some foo fighter loud!
Hey do they still make this rack? I’ve been looking on google, and I’m finding group buys.... I really want one and can’t find anyway to order it
Yep but they are only available through the group buys on Tacomaworld which is linked in the video description. You can get them with a few different options for the access cab which are detailed on the group buy page.
Happen to know who has one for 2020 access cab after rear jump-seat delete?
Haven't seen one yet but hopefully someone is going to release one.
Would that system work if you want to keep your rear seats?
Yes indeed. The panels still fit fine behind the factory seats. You'd just have to mount thinner things to it compared to if you weren't running the seats.
Ibthink it sucks it doesnt cone with the hardware
I been checking the out. What u think about it
Love it! Tons of room to mount gear.
You might’ve said it in the video, but how much does this panel weigh?
I can't remember exactly but it's light. Maybe 15lbs.
can you get one for a 2nd gen access cab
Yeah but I'm not sure if the new shop is up and running yet: www.tacomaworld.com/threads/behind-rear-seat-molle-panels.746918/
I see this is an older video, but I am wondering if this is still being sold? I’ve looked on Tacoma world hoping for a link but there’s nothing. I heard you say ruff road designs, but there’s no website. Any direction would be appreciated on who makes this and how to buy it. Thanks
Someone grabbed the design and was selling for awhile but I think they ran into supply issues.
@@Tacomaholic that sucks. It looks like a great design. It doesn’t appear anyone makes something like it
Is your overhead rack always empty? If so, why get another?
I would be interested to see how you use your overhead one.
Empty for now but I'm getting some things together to mount to it.
You should have use black bolts....the rack looks very useable
Yeah I'm trying to find some at a reasonable price.
Which size did you get for the Noico noise Insulation the 36 sq feet or the 18?
I got the 36 since I plan on adding the sound deadening in other places too, but the 18 is plenty for just the back wall.
Perfect thank you.
Need an AR15 holder
hey brother..looking to get in on one of these group buys if i can....is there a current one? i clicked the link and there are 230 pages to go thru. lol. let me know i'd like to sign up.
Hey! The guy on Tacomaworld stopped making them for the time being ... so a used one would be the only thing available. I see people posting theirs for sale on that thread sometimes.
You should throw your axe inside. A. It would look dope, and B. It will protect it from the elements.
Can you keep at least one or two seats in it?
The molle panel doesn't interfere with reinstalling your back seats. 👍
Do you have a link to the foam backing you used?
I grabbed the stuff seen in this video at Home Depot, but since upgrade to some closed cell foam: amzn.to/3hNSp4N
Is it only through the group buy or can we go to a manufacturer
I've only seen these available through the Group Buys on Tacomaworld.
@@Tacomaholic copy that, i ended up going through the group buy. Thank you
Do you have to lose your rear seats for a molle rack behind the seat??
Not at all. The rear molle panel just replaces the plastic bins found behind the rear seats.
@@Tacomaholic sweet!! Very tempting to go into it now... I'll have to look into finding pictures with seats installed. Thank you!
Looks great but you need to find black bolts. 👍
Ha ha I know. I've looked everywhere and haven't found any yet.
@@Tacomaholic What about changing to a cap head bolt with washer? They’re easily found in black. 👍
Looks like you forgot to link to the foam you used?
I just grabbed that from Home Depot.
I think a black carpet, like what is used on speaker boxes, would have looked a lot better than foam. Foam looks very unfinished to me, and is still reflective. Otherwise I think it looks good, especially once it you get some gear on it!
I could still add some speaker carpet over the foam, but the foam will help block more road noise.
I am member of Tacomaworld and went to the link but can't figure out how to contact the seller, any help
To contact him you can either post on that thread on Tacomaworld or send him a private message on Tacomaworld.
Where can I find this for access cab? is a CNC dxf file available?

An AR 15 would look good mounted on it
My truck is the only expensive hobby I can afford right now. 😀
Is anyone making these panels anymore?
The guy on Tacomaworld just stopped. Not sure if anyone else has their own version.
....to each there own..
I’m lost what are these for? I found this by accident . Crazy? Idk why not. I want some bass! And how many fucking hate the shitty radio they come with? My wife keeps laughing at the weak radio as I try to play some foo fighter loud and it sounds like im waiting in an elevator( ok a little exaggerated)
The molle rack is used to mount anything that will fit really. Usually straps are used but if you wanted to mount something like an amp you could use a piece of plywood. Totally agree about the factory stereo.
Is that back seat delete still available to order?
The molle panel is but you can run that with or without your back seats installed.
@@Tacomaholic Ship to Canada?
@@aaronzemp8678 I'm not sure if they do international shipping. You'll have to message the creator on Tacomaworld.

Actually putting a few things on there today.
Where can I find this? The guy doesn't make them anymore. Any suggestions? Thanks!
The original guy sold the template to someone else who is not making them again on Tacomaworld. Just search "molle panel" under the marketplace there and it should pop up.
@@Tacomaholic thank you, sir. I found another company that makes them but they are wanting around $350 for them. Do you think that's overpriced?

Van you include the actual installation process?
Was there a specific part of the installation you had questions about?
@@Tacomaholic the holes for installation are also ones used for the seat latch right? And also how was the fitment?
@@tenochmantechta1154 Yes, once you have the rear seats removed and hold the molle panel up you will be able to see which holes will be used for the bolts. Fitment was perfect.
Would definitely rather have a back seat and the ability to haul friends/family if needed.
This molle rack only replaces the plastic storage bins found behind the rear seats ... not the rear seats themselves.
