I get that "dan is dumb" is a running gag, but as others have mentioned, I hope it doesn't wear on Dan, and that he's able to say that it's getting to be a bit much if it ever gets to that point. Some of it seems mean-spirited, and just taking advantage of Dan being a good sport.

As funny as the moments of Dan's ignorance can be, it really rubs me the wrong way- he's doing his best trying to break out of the ignorance he was raised in, but everytime he asks or says something not as smart everyone piles on him. I know he's probably okay with it since he keeps doing so, but it just seems really aggressive lately. Hopefully if anything actually makes him feel bad he can bring it up.
He’s spent so long saying dumb shit and then vehemently claiming that he is undeniably correct. Most of his questions here (besides not knowing what a hobby is) were slightly more legitimate and in good faith. But it’s going to take a while for anyone to be willing to deal with his shit
