Parchment Paper is my best friend John. I use it to line my trays and baking pans. Nothing sticks to it, ever.. ! It’s a life saver, and a great way to clean up less lol. I hate scrubbing pans.
Once again... BRILLIANT!!! It is amazing how you can think outside of the box...on the fly...like you do. BASTING. So clever. Thanks for sharing this. 🤓👍 ~Sharon
I love your videos but I like the failures as well as the successes. If you sow the failures then I know what not to do and that is a valuable thing to know!.
Unfortunately some of my viewers, one in particular likes to focus on my failures. I try to have a more positive outlook. It's a struggle but I am working on it. I do mention the failures from time to time though.
@@JohnInBibs That is shame that someone would focus on the failures. We learn the best with our failures and they sure can help someone else from making them.
Sounds delicious 🤗 I'm going to have to keep an eye out next time I go shopping, my store, I'd seen sell a whole case, but they haven't been in lately. Thanks
You had me at Egg Roll, John! Yummy!! You should check out non-stick foil. Walmart has a GV version that I use all the time and it works the same as Reynolds. It is seriously non-stick, and it's reusable with a wipe down or wash. I totally love it, saves my pans and you get all the yummy crunchies that usually get stuck to the pan ;)
When you store these would you bag them by themselves or put them as a meal in bag ... or simply put in the same bag as say pork fried rice? I have been doing this for a couple of months and am still afraid to move beyond mason jars and store in mylar (but I'm about out of jars and need to move forward). Thanks - this looks so good I'm heading to Albertson's after work!
I have done it both ways. I have packed a few in a smaller mylar bag for snacks, and Plenty in a bigger bag with fried rice etc. It really depends on how you want to eat them.
@@JohnInBibs I went to the store that night as Albertson's had them on sale and their sales end on Tuesday. I cooked them - super yummy but they needed a little more time in the oven. This morning I realized I didn't remember where I put them in the refrigerator or the freezer. Neither, they were still in the oven (insert crying emoji here). I'll do them again and they'll make it to the FD :) Thanks for the videos :)
Dad Gum it Amanda, I had 7 spare to taste test, I put one in a bowl of hot water for exactly 1 minute. No longer and No less, it reconstituted beautifully. So much so that I was going to spring the surprise in the Meal In A Mylar bag video I will be doing next. Just soak for 1 min and lay on a paper towel. The middle rehydrates nicely and the outside is still crunchy!
@@annkleindl3561 yes it could, i did some full sized and they tasted so good that gave me the idea for the mini's but cut up would probably work just as well
not sure, I had other items in the FD. Plus it has been humid here in MO off and on. If i had to guess it is a standard run about 30 hours. Times vary on your weather conditions, actual moisture content (which varies) there are lots of variables.

I have a huge roll of parchment paper I bought from SAMS Club a few years ago, I guess I should use that more, LOL
Those look AMAZING!! Thanks for the idea!!
Thanks for watching

They are!
Yum...what a great idea! Love getting new ideas to FD besides the normal. I have milk in mine at this time.
Thanks

John. What size mylar bags are you using for the side dishes and the large size you use to put your complete meal in?
in general the side dishes are pint sized and the large outer bag is 1 gallon gusseted with ziplock.
🇨🇦🇺🇸 Yum

Great video! Did you try to reconstitute any of them at all?

@@JohnInBibs awesome! My daughter loves those egg rolls & this would be great to keep on hand.
kids can be picky she may not like it reconstituted because the outer part of the shell does get wet, but she may like them dry. They are really good
Could this be done with full size rolls? Or full size cut in half?
@@annkleindl3561 yes it could, i did some full sized and they tasted so good that gave me the idea for the mini's but cut up would probably work just as well
What size bag and how many did you get in them?
Pint 4
Where did you get these mini egg rolls?
I picked them up at my local Price Chopper in the Freezer Isle
Their website has a store finder if that helps: www.chungsfoods.com/home/find-a-store/
How long did it run for?
