Hello! 👋 I appreciate that, however, please don’t let this one incident stop you from Van Life. There are millions of nomads who have had no scares. There are good and bad incidents in all ways of life 🤗🩷🇨🇦 Thank you for watching!
It is fun and freeing. There are safe places to sleep. Home invasions would be worse.
@Lori1Cor15 How long have you been in your van Lori?
Hey Shirl, I just discovered your channel and I thought, "that looks like BC"! I watch Chrome, Emi etc. Selling my house to go full nomad next year with my cat without a vehicle (I don't drive, I'm an AirBnB dweller LOL.) Nice to discover you!
Sweet! What a great idea! An Air BmB Nomad! Pleasure to meet you Izzy! I am familiar with Chrome and Evy and have seen some of their content. Thanks for stopping by and saying hi! 😊🚐🇨🇦
Drunk kids on a Sunday night? As long as you reported in to Walmart Customer Service and had their knowledge and permission you were good. suggestion, next time park right under their surveillance cameras. Good luck and God Bless.
@@debrareed-prewitt7127 Thank you so much Debra 😊🇨🇦
As long as you're stealthy motels are a good place to park at night.
@@cjmajor9598 Thank you CJ! I’ll check that out this weekend! 😎🩷🇨🇦 Thank you for the pointer
@@shirleyfrederickson4794 you're welcome just make sure you don't have reflectix in your front side windows I've only been knocked on twice in 6 years and I think that was the reason. 🤣
@cjmajor9598 another good point CJ! I did have my reflectix showing. 🤔 Thanks again!
Oh wow, I’m a new subscriber
Welcome Shelly! Thank you for your support 🩷🇨🇦
Your welcome ❤
In most of Florida you can't even stay in a Walmart
@@michellepasc7564 I hear that is happening all over. Luckily we still have several here plus multiple other options. Thank you 😊🚐🇨🇦
People are allowed to park in our Walmart. I’ve even seen some of the cars. Be there for two or three days at a time without moving.
@ we are allowed too but not all of them. It is up to the management of the store. This one was on iOverlander and I hadn’t been there before. Looking back I think it must’ve just been teen fun. I enjoy Walmart parking occasionally. I have a favorite that I stayed for 2 days immobile 😎. Have a good night Michelle 😊🇨🇦
Where was Walmart Sercurity??
Not sure. Perhaps there are none once the store has closed. It was a Sunday too. 😊🚐🇨🇦
I couldn't let my grandma out in a van at night.so sad😢
You are very sweet Martin 🤗 My plan has always been vanlife and nomad retirement. I was mentally prepared for this as prices increased and opportunities declined. Thank you for your heart felt comment. I have some wonderful news I’m sharing this week 😊 and I’ll explain then. My backstory is coming soon too. Stay well my friend 😊🚐🇨🇦
@@shirleyfrederickson4794 I just subscribed. You be safe Shirley
I don't think she needs permission..😅
@@michellehawkins1027 yes I know
@@michellehawkins1027 you got that right Michelle 😊 My nieces and nephews were all checking out the van at Thanksgiving dinner last night. They think I’m cool 😎lol

🫶🤗 Victoria thank you ❤️
So bummed to hear this happened and I certainly it isn't a trend. Just surprised that this happened in Canada.....I expect this from good ol' Murica but not Canada.
@@HaveCheetahWillView yeah it was unpleasant for sure Patrick. I was a little bummed once the initial fear left …
Paid trolls... it's their "job"
I can’t imagine 😳 I think now it was just kids burning donuts 😊It was an experience non the less
Where does youtube send your payment check to a p.o box?
@@0dulesduds I have no idea Odule. I am not monetized yet but I think they let you know and tell you what to do next. Good luck! 🍀😊🚐🇨🇦
New sub here!
@@fiftiesandfabulous That’s great! Thank you so much for joking us Fabulous! 🩷🇨🇦🚐
Would the police actually help you or even come out for a situation like that? Have you ever had that happen? I guess I’m just not very trusting that police would “bother” to help a woman sleeping in her van “just because” some guys are revving their engines and such as that, even though that sounds like a very scary situation. Glad you got away. Many times that is the best move, just get away because that might be the one thing you can do. Happy trails!
Hi KGS! I apologize for the late reply. I was certain I had but must have gotten distracted and forgot to send lol! Yes, I think they would have responded. I had 911 on my phone ready to dial if needed. Because I was uncomfortable though, I think the best choice was to leave the situation. Thank you so much for watching! 😊🚐🇨🇦
They would, here! They gave protected us and I have seen them arrest boy racers.
@@Lori1Cor15 hats great Lori! I was ready to dial but didn’t have to as I left but I think they would have come if I needed them.
@@shirleyfrederickson4794 Thanks. That’s good to know. Sorry for my late reply, too, I cant believe that four days have passed!
@ oh no worries! I appreciate the reply! It’s not always easy to respond right away. Have a super day! 🤗🚐🇨🇦

I slept at Walmart last two nights. So hot still so my window is down. I feel safe because my protector is Jesus. Another week of this heat and i will get to roll up my window. But very safe so far here❤

So what’s your story? Are you homeless? If so by choice or? Do a video with some backstory please.
@@GloWe724 I sure will. I am houseless and after practicing in the van began living in her full time due to dire circumstances. Yes, I will do a background video for sure! Thank you 😊🩷🇨🇦
Are you daft? She's living in her car. That's homeless. Whether someone chooses it or not, is both irrelevant and none of your fncking business.
What Walmart location?
It is in Alberta. It turns out it was just kids having fun. I don’t think now that they knew I was in the van.
