@@ShadowLightMewEndlessOceanMew sorry but I disagree…… they should setup a real sea pen for this one case of a deaf whale and let her live out her days at least having real experiences even if not fully free ….. respectfully a pool this size is not the answer … they need to feel currents, hunt and have natural stimulation they would get from the wild…… I get it you like to visit but it’s selfish to have whales in concrete pools
@@stacksedwardsog Morgan is happy in human care, being all alone and isolated in a pen, no just no. Loro Parque is working on future expansions but even then their current pools are large, i saw them myself. I visited Morgan in Nederland and visited her in Loro Parque, i went behind the scenes too. They get stimulation, they get things to do every single day. An Orca does not have to feel currents or hunt to be happy. Orcas are more concerned with having access to food, mates and having a good pod ranking. Which they do have in human care, their needs are met so they get to develop their personalities more, they get to be more curious and playful. In the wild, they don't have the same luxuries since they constantly feel the stress and pressure of having many mouths to feed.
Sadly, Morgan’s calf, Ula passed away recently.. probably,y because of the cramped space and in natural conditions in Loro Parque. If you don’t face the problem, your the problem…
@Amirah Shah They are not in a bathtub and they have more than one pool as well. They don't need to swim 100 miles at all, predators don't travel unless their food travels away. In human care their food is always on location so they get to do other activities instead and yes they have things to do all day and every day.
@Amirah Shah That is 100% false, they get all their dietary needs met whether they are part of shows & presentations or not. They are not locked up at all, they get access to all the pools quite often to decide where they want to be in them and they aren't tiny either. I stand with Loro Parque and others, that ain't changing
@Amirah Shah From what i have seen and experienced for myself, the animals are happy in human care. There are several Orcas living now in human care that are older than 13 and even older than 50. They don't commit suicide at all, Morgan and the others claim the slideouts like they claim toys. Morgan and Adan would lay together on them while blocking the access for the others cause in that moment, it is their toy that they don't want to share with the others. They are already in sanctuaries and they already live in sea water. Please do actual research rather than following one sided stories and nonsense
@Amirah Shah Wow you dare mention that murderer's name. I did my research, i went behind the scenes, did my own studies and have cared for and worked with animals myself. You should not listen to lies and do actual unbiased research. That person was responsible for the death of Orca calves that would have had way better chances at actual proper facilities. I refuse to only go with what a handful of people and antis claim. I'm happy Morgan is at Loro Parque and didn't become that horrible person's pet to also make sick and waste away. She publically admitted that she wants Morgan to die because she can't have her. We are done here so long as you keep denying the real truth
Reproduction is part of their natural rights. Loro Parque won't deny the Orcas that right since they do not separate them by gender nor do they destroy the pod structure and dynamics to please a small group of people that would never visit
