Best video I've seen on greens yet. I rarely buy premixed greens and your demo exemplifies the vast array of possibilities by mixing ones own. Many thanks, sir.

Great way of demonstrating the green spectrum and mixing! Never under estimate the color green!

Thank for watching "Acrylic Painting: Mixing Green." This video is not just for acrylic painters. The same concepts for mixing green apply to all paint media. Let me know if the video was helpful for you.

Ellen, you’re welcome. Green is harder than some other colors to mix. I admit that I sometimes avoid it. Thanks for watching!

Good demo~ Loved your pointing out that there is indeed red in those warm blues and warm yellows. Those mixes get pretty close to green gold which I often use. Thanks!

Thanks Dee. I have a definite hate for the green gold paint - just personal opinion - too many people use it and it’s a very harsh color. Mixing a beautiful green is always better than something out of the tube.

@@davidm.kesslerfineart1717 Agreed re mixing most colors. Sometimes that green gold is the right "spike" to my work. I live in the Pacific Northwest, which tends to be a great deal of cool muted blues and greens, and the green gold somehow breaks up the monotony. I follow you, because I am tending toward abstracts/impressionistic landscapes [when I do them] . I teach at senior centers and my own work suffers as a result. If left to my own , I would be more abstract in my work.

Hi David, great tutorial. Cannot see the link for the course. I live in Queensland Australia, but would not have expected that would make any difference... even in these strange CV19 times 🥴 God help us 🙏😀
