I honestly find your videos much more interesting than some of the big names & those people have entire teams working for them! Although you do not travel much you still manage to find enough cuisines to make me feel you leave the country often :) I also love the close ups you show of the food & camera angles. I just realized, each year, the osechi is the same each year. I thought it would be unique to the year. I’m American and have always wanted to visit Japan. Especially during the New Years and the cherry season.

I remember watching you devour the 2020 boxes. This year's treats looked equally tasty. I am a big fan of "small plate" eating, where you get a nibble of many types of food..... some great, some not so great..... Happy New Year! Also, so happy you shaved the very long beard. I had a short beard for nearly 10 years and shaved it clean last summer. It is a little bit of a pain to have to shave everyday, but I really prefer a smooth, clean face!
