Beautiful truck! Been a Toyota guy all my life but will be special ordering a Boulder Gray Frontier Pro4x soon, this truck is perfect for me. Great content and review as always! 👍
Sadly I’ll make the switch too, I love Toyota but their reliability is out the window with them getting rid of their naturally aspirated engines. 4.7L v8 gone, 5.7L v8 gone, 3.5L v6 gone, 2.7L i4 gone. Those were all engines proven to literally go the distance, I don’t foresee how these turbo engines will outlast the tried and true predecessor. Luckily Nissan hasn’t jumped on the bandwagon.
@@offthewallsurfer1 Toyota has been making engines like that for decades in other markets! Reliability didn’t go out the window at all.. they’ve been proven to be reliable! Not something I’m worried about.
That is a good question. That question is right up there with, "Why does Tesla not have a simple handle to open their glove box. You have to go thru the computer settings to open it." Doesn't really make sense to normal people.
There’s a good possibility one of the reasons why the steering feels heavy is Nissan is still using a hydraulic steering system where a lot of the other manufactures are using an electrical steering system
Why am I oddly attracted to this truck? I've test driven one and could see myself driving one after my Canyon Denali lease us up. I looks like a truck!
My 2023 Nissan Frontier Pro 4X does not sound like your video did. I am looking for an exhaust for my truck that sounds like the Flowmaster 40 series I had on my avalanche .What exhaust was on this truck that you did the video of?
@@joeamith838 Yeah it's crazy I couldn't see it at all while filming the vehicle. I never sit in the passenger seat and look around lol. But I guess it's easy to miss as a driver
It will be very interesting to see what will be next when this version of the Frontier gets killed off. Im just glad the new Taco for next year will be a regular and totally redesigned truck.
Really terrible camera graphics for a new refreshed truck like this. The ridgeline which doesn’t have a 360 camera has a much clear resolution than this
You really need to learn more about these before you review them. It does have lumbar, the wheels are 17 inch not 18 inch, the 2 wheel drive is called the Pro X not Pro 2X. At one point you mention that this has a V8 lol. I would say that your biggest blunder is that you say that this is the only mid size truck with a V6. The biggest selling mid size truck out there is the Tacoma which uses a 3.5 V6 lol. Feel free to use this information "as needed".
I never saw the lumbar after a week of driving it, if it’s on the right side of the seat, it’s the only vehicle in the world to have it there. Every car I’ve ever drive. Is on the left side of the seat. If I said 2X, was referring too it being 2wd. If I said V8, obviously I misspoke and didn’t catch that. If you listened to the video, I said it’s going to be one of the last with the V6 since the 24 Tacoma won’t have it. I owned a 3rd gen Tacoma for 6 years, tons of content on that truck so I know it’s the best selling truck. Sold it for a 24 model.
Boulder grey is the best color for this truck! Really nice!
I think so too!

Are those wheels true bead locks, or just a regular wheel to look like they are. Good review!
They aren’t really beadlocks, not too many factory wheels would be like that!
Your lumbar support was the lever on the seat next to your right elbow. Nissan has put that in the same location for years.
Why not do like everyone else? It’s the only vehicle I’ve ever seen like that.
That is a good question. That question is right up there with, "Why does Tesla not have a simple handle to open their glove box. You have to go thru the computer settings to open it." Doesn't really make sense to normal people.
@@davidjallen5087 lol yeah! Same with GMC and the headlight control being in the screen and not on the stalk!
Now my dream truck.
YOUUUUUU
Oh nice!

Yeah I could see that. You really notice it off road and slow speeds compared to other trucks like it
Why am I oddly attracted to this truck? I've test driven one and could see myself driving one after my Canyon Denali lease us up. I looks like a truck!
Cool! It’s a good option.
My 2023 Nissan Frontier Pro 4X does not sound like your video did. I am looking for an exhaust for my truck that sounds like the Flowmaster 40 series I had on my avalanche .What exhaust was on this truck that you did the video of?
This was completely stock, Nissan owns this, it’s a manufacture vehicle with all the stock parts.
have had two xterras, and never thought I would consider getting another nissan.... but here I am...
lol this is a cool option. A bit smaller than the competition, but a nice truck overall
Loaded 23 Baja Storm P4X here and I love it. Front camera works in 2wd, at parking lot speeds.
I couldn’t get it to work at all in 2wd. Even off the pavement it didn’t work until we switched out of 2wd.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed gosh, that’s odd.
@@N8RTHhow much was it
Someone said there's a 2023.5 that adds start and stop, active aero grills, and rear alarm
Smaller engines with turbos do not have the longevity period no argument….
Yeah I guess we'll see as more and more trucks get smaller turbo engines
Looking at this truck now but I'm not sure if I should wait till 25 to see if they're going to make a different motor😊
Yeah I'm not sure if they would change anything. I doubt they would
what is the trim that is one level below this? is there a pretty big diference in features looks and capabilities?
I think SV. Nissans website shows everything they will offer
Does have lumbar support. On the passenger side of the driver seat
Weird spot for it!
I want lumbar support on the driver's seat. I hate that it is not there. Loved my avalanche that had it.
lumbar support is on the right side of drivers seat!
No it’s not lol! We drove this for a week and it didn’t have it.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed lol 14:23... the lever is right behind your right elbow!!
@@joeamith838 How can you see a lever at that angle? 14:23 is the test drive.

The steering feels heavy because it’s old school hydraulic. Which is a plus because the feedback you get from the steering.
Ehh, not really helpful with feedback.
I thought there was a manual drivers lumbar support on the side of the seat.
Everyone says that! Apparently it’s located on the right side of the seat which makes no sense.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed weird spot agreed. BTW- thanks for your review and response. 👍
No problem! Yeah I didnt even see that lever
He looks hot driving that truck :)

Yeah I feel like the new Tacoma and Colorado are so cool now, Nissan might have to update this again lol
Would like an option to mute all the red accents....
I love these trucks except the everyday drive ability isn’t that great. Turn radius is abysmal and the steering feels like your driving a dump truck.
